   Yes, I Do Believe I Am A Dork
Ok, so I suddenly have this random urging to cosplay someone from Harry Potter. I have no idea what posessed me to want to do this. I want to cosplay as Tonks. It seems like it would be so much fun! And besides, I'm clumsy and crazy like Tonks. It would be a blast. Plus I would get to wear a bright pink wig and have a wand. You know, I think I'll do it. I could wear it to..um, oh! I know! I'll wear it to Cos-con in November. And if the fifth movie comes out, I could wear it to the premiere. Ooo, this is going to be fun! I'm all ready thinking of a hundred ideas for outfits. I think I need to read the fifth book again to get something to go off of. It's been forever. And I think Tonks was a happier person in the fifth book anyway...ah yes, I am indeed a dork. I wonder if I could get someone to join me in my dorkiness...anyone up for a Harry Potter cosplay?

   So Sleepy
Ugh, I'm so tired. I pulled an all nighter last night to work on my paper and presentation. Got the paper mostly done and now I'm trying to force myself to finish it so I can take a nap before my interview at 4 pm. I will take a nap today. I have to. I don't think I can make through the whole day without one.

Anywho, enough of that boring stuff. I'm still not sure where I'm going to find a green turtleneck and matching green pants for Rock Lee. I've got the legwarmers knitted, and I'm planning on ordering the protector and pouches. And, I think I have a wig that might work if I trim it. So yea. Hmm, Dual suggested an athletic store, so maybe I'll try there. It would be so nice to get another cosplay done and out of the way. Still haven't found a black tie for Elena, but never fear! I'll find one soon. Ugh...I think I should get off now before I really start rambling incoherently. Me + no sleep = embarrassing moments. Good bye all!

   Ugh....writing that never ends...
Philosophy papers suck. I'm currently on page 4 of a 7-10 page paper. Sure, it looks like I'm getting closer, but don't be deceived. For the paper I have to read 100 pages of articles and write at least a one page review for each. So far I've read a 24 page article and a 10 page article and written 3 full pages. Yea, I've got a ways to go until done...Grr, if only writing papers was like writing newspaper articles...speaking of which, I've got 2 of those to write. One is due by tomorrow and the other is due on Friday. Ugh, lots of writing to do. Anyway, I'm thinking about starting work on a new freelance article since my cosplay for beginners went so well. I'm going to start doing some research on wig care. That will be helpful for me as well since I need to style my Elena wig and Rock Lee wig. Wig care is something every cosplayer could learn more about, right? Well, I guess I'm out.

So close...
So, Elena is so close to being finished. All I have left is a black tie and then viola! I'll officially have finished my first cosplay for Otakon. Now, I still have 4 left to go and an entire routine to learn. Why I volunteered to be the choreographer for our cosplay group, I'll never know. Anywho, I proved to Dual that I am truly the master of thrift stores today. I took her to Half of Half. She couldn't find the right pants that she wanted to use for Roxas. After about looking for about 2 minutes, I pulled out a khaki pair and a black pair, both the right size and material. She was one happy Roxas cosplayer after that. And I found the perfect white button up for Elena. I'm hoping that maybe I can find something for Rock Lee there next time. I think we're going back next weekend when J comes to visit because we need to get white polos to start working on our Hyotei polos. Sheesh, I'm beginning to think I bit off a bit too much for my first Otakon. Oh, well. I might as well go all out. Who knows when or if I'll be able to go back. At least there's Cos-con in Norman to look forward to after that. Aw, fun adventures ahead...

First Post
So, here's my first post. Hooray! Um, not too sure what to write about. I'm really excited about this weekend. I've got my junior senior banquet coming up tomorrow. It's kind of like prom for big kids. I'm going with a group of friends and we're all really looking forward to it.

In other news, I think we're planning on going to Half of Half tomorrow to look for some more things for our cosplays. I found a jacket for Elena and Dual and M were so excited that they made me promise that I would take them. I'm hoping I can find some stuff for my Rock Lee and perhaps a black tie to complete Elena. Anywho, that's about all from me!
