Full Metal Alchemist Rocks!
Meh, a bit late in saying this, but...

I love Full Metal Alchemist!

I recently watched all the episodes, and I'm now waiting for the movie to be fan subbed. This series is so good, I'm going to buy the boxsets when they get released in Australia. So far, only DVD 1 and 2 are released here, with DVD 3 coming out in a few days/weeks time. It will probably be many more months before the 1st boxset (out of 3) comes out.

Perhaps I should attempt some Full Metal Alchemist fanart. I've been afraid to venture beyond Inuyasha fanart, perhaps it's time to move on...

This might be one of the last post I make here because to be honest, I can't be stuffed posting anything here, plus I rarely visit this site anymore.

So maybe I'll pop in every now and then, submit the odd fan art. In meantime, I continue to search for more direct download anime sites...

My First Naruto Fan Art

Ever since I got my laptop, my brother refuses to let me use the main computer at home which has access to a scanner, and Adobe Photoshop CS. All my laptop has is MS Paint.

I felt like submitting something, so what else can I do? Draw something up in MS Paint. It was really difficult because I tried attaching a mouse to the laptop, but it kept messing up, so I was left with the little touchpad. It took roughly two days to get the picture right.

Also, the colours are a little dark because on my laptop, it appeared lighter.

I started to seriously watch Naruto recently (I watched a few episodes a while ago). Can't wait to find out what happens in the manga.

Anime DVDs: Australia Does it Better!

I purchased an Inuyasha DVD ages ago, like two months ago, and it was an American import because at the time, there were no Australian distributors. It cost $35.00 and had just 3 episodes on it.

However, just the other day, I noticed Inuyasha DVD 1,2,3 and 4 at $23.95 each! And guess what? Each disc has 4 episodes on it (and after checking the Madman website (Madman Entertainment are the main distrubutors of anime in Australia), there were rumours that 5 episodes per disc might appear).

I am never buying American imports again. I'll just wait until Madman gets a hold of the anime I want. I purchased Azumanga Daiou (American import) costing nearly $50, and it hasn't come out in Australia yet, so I'm going to sell Azumanga Daiou 6 and buy it again when Madman releases it (will probably cost just $30.

Man am I tired...

Now that uni has started again, I only have two days off during the week. And during those days, I usually sleep in late, then goof around for a few hours, followed by some uni work.

But now I got my job back, so I'm working on my two free days. It's a good thing because I'm getting paid, but it sucks how I'm oh so tired at the end of the day, can't be stuffed doing anything. I'm just a lazy slob...

At least the holidays are coming up, I can catch up on uni work, which I really need to do.

Hey, where's my Big Mac?

On Saturday, my mum was running late, so she didn't have time to make lunch, so she decided to buy something from Macca's for lunch. So I orded a Fillet-O-Fish burger, my little sister got 6 McNuggets, and my mum bought two BigMacs (one for my brother, one for my other sister).

When we got home, my brother immediately got started on his BigMac and my sister had her McNuggets. Meanwhile, I was putty away some stuff. When I did go get my fish burger, I noticed that my burger was the only thing left in the bag, so I assumed that my other sister took her BigMac already.

It wasn't until my sister came out of the toilet (she spends ages in there for some reason) that we realised that they had only given us one BigMac. Such a pain in the ass, and there's no way we can go back and complain because we couldn't prove that they had only given us one BigMac instead of two.

A similar thing happed at Red Rooster, my dad bought two quarter chicken and chips, but one of the boxes had only chips in it, not chicken. So my dad went back to complan and he got his chicken.

From now on, I guess I better check to see if we got what we paid for before leaving, neh?

Access Denied

I'm supposed to be in class right now doing Programming Principles in Room 19.107, but why am I here sitting in front of the comouter?

Well, the room needed an access card to get in, and anyone without one wasn't allowed into the room. I got my access card today, but I was told to wait 3 days before using, and hence I was unable to enter the room for my Programming Principles class which is on right now.

Requests

Okay, I read through the 2 requests, one for a girl in a kimono (sketch complete) and Kyou (not started yet). I think I can do them both.

For the Kyou picture, is that Kyou from Fruits Basket, or Kyou from Girl Got Game? Let me know.

I also submitted a new fan art today. I didn't plan on submitting it because there's something about Kikyou in a short skirt that is just so wrong. But my sister suggested that I submit it to see if anyone liked it.

Now I'm off to play Sim City 4. Dang that game is so hard. I can't get a decent profit going. Oh well, I'm still a newb after all.
