Speeding Fine
In Australia, if you travel over 5km over the speed limit, you get a speeding fine. If you do get caught speeding, they send you a letter within 2 to 3 weeks telling you how much you have to pay, and how many demerit points you got.

Well, on the 25th of February, my dad told me to take my sister to school to buy books before school started on the 31st of January. On the way home, I passed a police officer holding a speed gun. When I passed him, I realised that I might have been travelling at or above 65kmph in a 60km area.

You see, I get nervous when there are cars behind me when I'm driving because they might crash into the back of my car if I brake or something.

What I do is I usually speed up a bit, usually by 5km, to get ahead of the cars behind me. As I was driving along Main Street that day, there were two cars behind me. I'm a P-plater (inexperienced driver), so I couldn't really tell if they were driving too close to me or what, I can't judge distace that well.

So I sped up, and before passing the police officer, I was travelling at 63kmph and speed was rising. Normally if I see a speed radar or a police officer, I would slow down, but when I saw the police officer, he was standing next to a phone booth so I thought he was a telecommunications employee or something.

Just before I passed the police officer, I noticed that the cars behind me had slowed dow for some reason, and so I started to slow down again. But by then I realised that the guy standing by the phone booth was actually a police officer holding a speed gun. And when I checked my speed, it was 63kmph again, but I think that when I passed the guy, it might have been 65kmph or over.

My driving record has no blemishes on it. No previous speeding fines, no demerits. Although I did have a car accident that was probably my fault, but I didn't get punished for that. I was worried that I would get a fine and/or demerit points, and if my dad knew, I'd get in trouble because it's his car, so he might have to pay the fine.

However, it has been weeks now, and I still have got a fine, I guess I wasn't speeding. It figures because even though I travel at or a little above the speed limit, every single car I come accross seems to be able to overtake me. So either everyone else is speeding, or there's something wrong with the speedometer on my dad's car.

   New fanart

I haven't done any 'official' fanart in ages, so I got the urge to draw, and there you go.

I wans't too happy with how it turned out though, first of all, the colouring looks awful. Sango looks as if she's waering fur/felt. The reason for that is the paper I used. The paper is great for printing assignments, but not so great for colouring with pencil.

Second of all, the fineliner sketch looked bad compared to the original pencil sketch, but I was too lazy to do it again.

Oh well, maybe some one out there likes it.

And by the way, I'm going to Wai-con on Saturday. Anyone else going? It will be the first time I went to an Anime Convention, and it is also the first Anime Convention to occur in Western Australia. I'm looking forwards to it!

   Final post for the year

Man, who knew that the real world would take up so much time?

In short, I got a job so now I'm too busy to waste time on the net. But on the plus side, I can buy more anime and manga, I'm no longer broke. And I might be able to buy box sets.

Yeah, so maybe when I get time, I'll upload any new fan art I do between now and the next time I use the Net.

   "You makin' any money?"

I love that phrase! "You makin' any money" It's a Kansai greeting, equivalent to saying "Konnichiwa". Of copurse, I'm still broke, so I'm going to look for a job after the exams.

I uploaded a new Sesshoumaru fan art, though I must admit, it doesn't look too much like Sesshoumaru because I was thinking of Shigure when I drew it, and the original draft sketch was based on a female character in my fan fic.

Again, my scanner screwed with the colours. So now Sesshoumaru looks pale, and the light blue I put in his hair and clothes can't be seen.

I was about to sgut down Mangetsu, but words of encouragement kept it alive. As for my Quanyecha site, I'll probably shut that one down for real because there's no way I can make a complete Inuyasha website in just 25Mb.

   Close call, I almost lost my anime and manga

My computer went bust the other day, and my dad took it to get fixed. When he found out that the mother board had to be replaced, he got really angry (that's an understatment). So he vented his anger on my brother saying that he played games too much and it stuffed the computer. Then my dad told my brother to take all his games CDs and put them on the table.

My brother also has anger management problems, so what he did was he took his CDs that he purchased, plus the ones my dad purchased and snapped them all in half. And when my dad got home (he had to go pay for a new mother board or something) he was furious at what my brother did, so my dad retaliated by pulling out the remaining games CDs and smached them with a hammer.

What happened next, my dad raided my brother's room and he found my manga Love Hina Book 13 and 14, and he asked me where I got them from. I lied and said that I borrowed them from a friend. If he found out that I spent my money on manga or anime, he would get really mad and raid my room, which would be bad because I bought a GBA without him knowing, and if he found out, I'm as good as dead.

My dad threatened to burn the manga and said that he would pay back whoever lent me the manga. Luckily, my mum took the manga and hid it in my room so he wouldn't throw it out or burn it.

Then my dad siad that he was going to have the computer wiped. Which means I lose my anime eps and manga chapeters which I downloaded, and my Garvest Moon game, which I was doing so well in and my fan art etc etc. Luckily, he didn't have the computer wiped. I have to be more careful about my anime and manga now.

My brother still hasn't learnt his lesson, he's still playing computer games when dad is home. Oh well, live to read manga another day.

   New fan art

I haven't done much fan art due to lack of ideas. So I grasped at whatever idea popped into my head. After watching Episode 162, I felt the urge to draw Rin. And because I just love Sesshoumaru's clothes, I decided to draw Rin in it. Yeah, I need more ideas, and I also need to learn to draw hands and feet.

   I'm feeling goooooood!

Two great things will be happening. One will happen i just ten minute time, and the next will ahppen tommorow.

The first thing: After two weeks of downloading, I can finally watch Inuyasha episode 162. Yay Sesshoumaru!

Second thing, the library finally has Inuyasha book 16 available, I'm going to pick it up tommorow. After 5 months of waiting, it will be mine for four weeks.

Also, my budgies have laid 6 eggs, and four have hatched. As for the remaining two eggs, one hatched but the chick dies, and the last egg is sterile.
