Updates

Happy Halloween, all.

This one would like to take the time to go through random facts about Halloween.
(For those of you uninterested in Halloween, I think you may find these facts interesting.)

I have heard a few different versions on the Halloween story. I looked it up, because I had a strong disliking towards the Devil's day type thing. (They say it dirived from that, as well as Easter. Gives me scary thoughts of the Easter Bunny. And orgies.)

Shall I go on, now...?

Version o1.)
Halloween is translated into Hallow's Eve.
Hallow, means Soul, or spirit. While, obviously, eve is the day before an actual holiday.
In this version, it is said that Halloween (Hallow's Eve) Is a day to honor the dead and deceased.

Version o2.)
This goes a lot with what they say about Easter. Orgies, satanic workings, all that jazz.
(I'd go into the details, but it's irrelivant.)

Hello, my fellow wanderers! Long time no update.

So, let the contests go on! We're having more and more rurounis joining, which makes this one very happy.

Remember, deadline for all art contest/poetry contest participants is Halloween day, EXACTLY.
Like said above, rules and entries below.

It locks me in its gaze,

I see through its mirage.
Twisted claws grasping,
Forked tongue flicking,
Golden eyes burning with hunger,
Blood-stained teeth gnashing.
I tremble in fear,
Knowing all too well the feeling,
Icy chills running down my back,
Gasping for breath.
I flick on the light,
But I know its still there,
Hiding in the shadows.

Halloween Contests

This one's apologies, fellow Rurounis. I have not updated in quite a while, but as I have said before, my internet was down. Again, I'm sorry.

The Rurouni Club will be hosting the Halloween contests starting today (October 17th - Halloween). The contests feature art and poetry this time. (Look below for details)

First Post

Welcome to the Rurouni Club! Shinobicatgirl here. Wellp, it's our first post!

How do you guys like the layout? I made it myself. I'm pretty happy with it, so far, but it's still under construction.

I'll be holding the art contests, games, and all that good stuff in a day or so, but first, I need members! XD
