   I...hate...Final...Exams...
The title says all. And I would say more, but...I think I would get in trouble. ^^;; Sorry, but because of the dumbass exams, I won't have time today, tomorrow, Thursday, or Friday to post the next part of "The Curse." Please forgive me!! ^^;;; Oh, and, on a sad note; I lost the battle. The battle for the internet. My parents are shutting it down sometime over summer break. HOPEFULLY, not soon! I'm hoping to get a date here, so I can start preparing. I DON'T WANNA LEAVE U ALL!!! T____Tx I shall miss my friends on the Otaku! I don't wanna leave, but I think I'll have to! BUT!!! Maybe, half-way through summer, I'll get it turned back on! ^_~x So, watch out for me! But, overall, I will loose the internet. Okay, different subject now! I came home from school today, 'cause I thought I was gonna throw up. -_- I went home, and took a Midol. That's it. And everything got better. Sooo, I had to go back to school! I only missed 2 periods. It was kinda stupid...I should've stayed home. But, I need to study for these stupid exams. *curses exams under her breath* The schedule for tomorrow is soooo screwed up. I know I'm gonna get confused. WELL, tomorrow's my Science, English, and Computers II exams. Wish me luck! ^_^x To end this post, here are some pics!

   The Curse: continued...
Awhile later, Kaoru was slapping bandages onto Kenshin's face.

"Well, you're out of that mess!" said Kaoru, putting a bandage on.

"That I am." said Kenshin, smiling. Despite being sore all over, Kenshin felt relieved that he was out of the well. He hung his wet clothes on the clothing line and put on an old gi and hakama.

"So, we gonna get some grub here anytime soon?" asked Sano.

"Ah, that's right! This one needs to go shopping so we CAN have something to eat!" said Kenshin. Sitting up slowly, Kenshin stretched; straightening out his back. Which made it crack really loudly, "This one will be back soon!"


*This one should've told Sano to go shopping, instead.* Kenshin strolled through the market, his muscles aching in protest.

"This one should've gotten out of the well sooner." sighed Kenshin. Well, he had bought everything. Enough to make a good lunch. He decided it wouldn't hurt to take a rest by the river.

He walked down the hill; carefully, as not to slip and drop the food. He set down the groceries and sat on the log that oversaw the river flow by.

"Well, doesn't this seem familiar..." said Kenshin, to himself. This was the same place where Kaoru was kidnapped by Jin-e. That event unleashed Battosai for the first time in 10 years. That single event...

Kenshin sighed. Even though he had the Amakakeru Ryu no Hirameki, the fear that Battosai might surface again never went away. Even now, after the events of Jinchuu, Battosai threatens to rise again...

Kenshin blinked and shook his head.

"Now, now. Let's not think about that." said Kenshin, quietly scolding himself. He stared into the river again, watching what went by, "It must've rained pretty hard upstream. The current's pretty rough. And there's a lot of debris in there too..."

*Lets see...branch, branch, a couple of leaves, branch, branch, ...someone's clothes, branch, empty bento box, leaves, branch, a feather, leaves, leaves, branch, ...some more clothes..., branch, branch, log, leaves, branch, leaves, girl, branch, leaves, bran-*

"Girl...?" said Kenshin. He blinked and looked at the river again. And indeed, a young girl was being rushed down the river, and she was crying out for help.

"Heeeeellllllp!! Someone!! Help!!!"

Kenshin then realized the situation and went into action. He quickly stood up and ran downstream to catch up with the girl.

"Hold on!!" yelled Kenshin, tucking the sakabato in his belt. He jumped into the river, and was almost immediately swept away with the current.

Coming up for air, he looked around for the girl. He found her; she was barely keeping her head above the raging water. Kenshin swam forward, which was easy since that was the way the current was going. The girl went under, and he managed to catch her and bring her to the surface.

"Are you alright?!" he asked her. But it was no use. She was unconscious.

Kenshin tried to swim back to shore, but the current was just too strong; even for him. Some low weeds gave Kenshin an idea. As soon as he passed them, he grabbed them; hoping he could pull the girl and himself to safety. But as soon as he grabbed them, a sharp pain went through his palm. They weren't weeds; they were briars. The thorns on them were pretty long and dug into Kenshin's skin pretty deep. Gritting his teeth against it, he tried to pull himself and the girl towards the shore. But the briar snapped, making both of them flow down the river again.

Kenshin was starting to loose strength. It was taking everything in him to keep the girl's head above the water, as well as his own. Even with his amazing strength, the river's strength overrode that. Kenshin checked on the girl again. She was still out. Kenshin hoped that he wasn't too late. Suddenly, the sound of the rushing water was drowned out by a louder roaring of water. Kenshin realized, with horror, what it was.

A waterfall.

As a last ditch attempt, Kenshin tried to swim upstream. That didn't work out too good. Kenshin was exhausted. He looked behind him, and the waterfall was right there. Kenshin held the girl closer to him; hoping that she would make it out okay...


::DUNDUNDUN!! Cliffhangers! Don't ya love 'em?! XP Anyhoo, as some of you can probably see, I changed my BG. I wanna know 2 things; 1: Is it good? And 2: Do I need to change the color of the font so u can see it easier? I stayed home from school today! ^_^ But not for pleasure. I threw up 3 times yesterday. And I felt awful. Today I went to the doctors and.....guess what it was? Strep throat? Nope. Mono? Nope. Penicidus *sp?*? HELL NO! It was allergies!! ^^;; All the drainage from my nose seeped into my stomach and made me throw up! So, now I need to take Allegra *sp?* and I will be fine! I feel better now, as I managed to eat some crackers and keep that down. Well, 4 more days of school left!! ^_^x JA NE for now!!::

   Sorry, no fic today...^^;;
I was gonna post up the next part of "The Curse" but I have to get off soon and do chores. -_-x I HATE chores! AND--on top of that, we're not going to the mall today, like my mom promised!!! Now I won't be able to get Kenshin vol. 14 OR FMA vol. 1! T____T It's because of money problems, tho'. I wanna help, but...I really can't. I wanna get a job, but that means that someone has to drive me. And I can't drive. Yet. I can get my permit any time, but....it's kinda scary driving! 0_0 I was kinda freaked out when my mom let me drive up our road and into our driveway. I do NOT wanna drive a van. They're too big! My Honda will do just fine with me. Did anyone watch Adult Swim last night? Samurai Champloo was AWESOME!! Lots of sword action there! There were a lot of funny parts, too! My favorite was when Jin was at the hot springs with the one samurai-guy. And he was explaining about fireflies. And how some males try to attract other males...I got the idea right away and busted out laughing. Especially when Jin stared at him for a sec, then said "Time to go." XD It was soo funny!! And the Inuyasha movie last night! WOW! That was soooo awesome!! I almost cried at the part when Inuyasha hugged Kagome! It was sooo sweet! ^_^x I definetly wanna buy this movie. I recently started playing, again, Final Fantasy 8. And that's half the reason I haven't been updating. ^^;; SORRY!! It's just...the game is soooo cool! All Final Fantasy games are! Right now I'm stuck...and Matt-chan is gonna give me help tomorrow at school. He's the one who's beat the game already, so he's a big help. Even if he is a pervert. -_-x He is. I won't even tell u the things he's looked at. Well...I'll tell one thing. He reads lemon fics. Lemon fics *for those who don't know* are fanfics with extreme sexual stuff in them. And...I'll admit...I've read one. He is corrupting my mind...0_ox ANYWAY, off that subject. This is my last week of school!! YAY!!! Which means--I GET TO SLEEP IN! AND STAY UP LATE!! YAAAY!!! BOOYAKA!! Hee hee! ^_^x

Ed: Did u forget that your parents are shutting off the internet for the summer...?

Me: 0_0

Ed: Yup, u forgot. -_-;;

Me: I don't wanna think about that!!! I'm gonna try to persuade *sp?* them into not shutting it off! This is my source of entertainment! And my only way out of a troubled situation! Like: if my brother is raising heck, I can just get on and ignore it all. THEY CANNOT TAKE IT AWAY! I WILL NOT LET THEM TAKE IT AWAY!!!!

   The Curse: continued....
Kaoru giggled at the situation. Sure, it wasn't the first time she's seen Kenshin in a funny situation. But this took the riceball; seeing Kenshin with his butt stuck in the well. A first. Kaoru liked the clueless Kenshin, but she liked the serious one, as well. Kenshin's words were always inspirational in times of need. No matter what the situation, he always found a way out. Except for this one, of course. Kaoru only wished that the dense rurouni would see that she like him--no--loved him...

"Oro!! Ororororororororowowowowowowow!!" yelped Kenshin, jarring Kaoru out of her thoughts. Sano was now trying to pull Kenshin out by his legs AND arms.

"Oh, stop whining!! I think it's working!" said Sano, pulling harder.

"Yeah, your plan to break Kenshin's back is working..." said Yahiko.

"Well, you got any better ideas?!" snarled Sano, dropping Kenshin's arms and legs.

"How about not trying to snap this one in half...?" suggested Kenshin.

"Hmmm...what to do..." said Sano, thoughfully, "...Oh!! Got it! I'll use the Futae no Kiwami to bust the well and get him--"

"Oh no, you will not!!" yelled Kaoru, stomping up to him, "And do you plan to fix it afterwards?!"

"Maybe, maybe not..." said Sano, earning him another hit from Kaoru.

"Kenshin IS stuck! I can't even get him out!" said Yahiko, failing in his attempt.

"What made you think that you could do it if I couldn't even do it?" asked Sano.

"What to do..." said Kaoru. Everyone stood there, thinking on what to do about Kenshin's being stuck.

"Got it!!" shouted Sano, We'll use his sword as a lever and pry him out!"

"Oro...? This one's sword...?" asked Kenshin, wide-eyed.

"Yeah, what's the harm?" said Sano.

"I think a bokken would be better at this." said Kaoru, "A sword's too dangerous. Even if it is a sakabato, you could put it in wrong and slice him; possibly down the middle and in half!"

"Yeah, you got a point there. That wouldn't be a pretty sight..." said Sano, thoughtfully. Kaoru handed him the bokken.

"So, do we put it in front, or pry him out from behind...?" asked Kaoru. Yahiko started laughing.

"Jou-chan; just how dumb are you?" asked Sano, earning, yet another hit from Kaoru.

"What do you mean?! What did I say?!" shouted Kaoru. She whirled around at Yahiko, "And what're you laughing at??"

"Think about it." said Sano, "If possible, put a mental picture in your head with both ideas." Kaoru's brows twisted in thought, as she did what Sano told her. It took her a good, full 3 minutes to figure it out. And when she did, she blushed a bright red. ::Author's note-If u try and pry him out in front, the bokken's gonna ram into the guy's ...er..."weak spot."::

"O-Oh..." stuttered Kaoru, while Yahiko busted out laughing again.

"See? We'll pry him out from behind." said Sano, "Okay Kenshin, this is gonna feel kinda weird..."

"This should be amusing..." said Yahiko, recovering from his laughing fit. Sano slipped the bokken down behind Kenshin's back.

"Oro! Sano, be more--ow!--careful! It doesn't feel weird, it just--ow!--it'sjust slipping into a tight space and--"

"Quit your whining!" said Sano, shoving the rest of the bokken down, making Kenshin jolt a bit, "Okay, it's in. Now..." Sano pressed down on the bokken, and Kenshin flinched.

"Oro...! Now that feels weird..." said Kenshin, after Sano stopped. ::Author's note-Yeah, it would feel weird, if a bokken was going up your buttcrack, too::

"Well...pushing doesn't work." said Sano, "How about we jump on it?"

"Oro?! Sano--" started Kenshin, but Sanosuke didn't hear a single word.

"We'll have Yahiko go first, since he's the smallest. I'll go as the last attempt." said Sano.

"Alright! Here I come, Kenshin!" said Yahiko, backing up to get a running start. Kenshin, although he couldn't see him, sensed him getting a running start. Kenshin prepared for the worst.

"I feel sorry for him." chuckled Sano, as Yahiko ran forward.

"Not many people get stuck in wells...this good, I mean." said Kaoru.

"Jou-chan--people don't get stuck in wells, period." said Sano. Yahiko leaped and landed on the bokken. Kenshin yelped...but he was still in the well.

"Aww, that didn't work!" said Yahiko. Kenshin sat there, twitching.

"How about you just leave this one in here...?" said Kenshin, feeling really uncomfortable.

"No way!! You're not gonna stay stuck in that well forever! We'll get ya out!" said Sano.

"I guess it's my turn then!" said Kaoru, pulling up her sleeves.

"Oro?!" squeaked Kenshin. Knowing Kaoru, she'll pack a punch that would rival Sanosuke's.

"Go on ahead, Jou-chan." said Sano, smirking. Kenshin, again, prepared for the worst.

Sano had to use all of his wits not to bust out laughing. This was just ridiculous!! No one gets their butt stuck in a well! And with the bokken thing...Sano had to sympathize with the rurouni. Kenshin was awesome in battle....but he was an average guy around the dojo. Sometimes...just a bit too average.

"Hey Kenshin!" said Kaoru, in a sing-song voice, "Here I come!!"

Kenshin gulped.

"Maybe this is going to be harder than I thought..." said Yahiko, going over by Sanosuke. Kaoru got a running start. She leaped and also jumped on the bokken. Kenshin yelped louder...but he still didn't come out.

"Wow! And I even jumped hard!" said Kaoru. Kenshin sat there, twitching.

"Well, looks like I'm next." said Sano. Kenshin went pale.

"Don't worry, Kenshin. This is the last time! Hopefully we'll get your butt out of there, this time. And then you can nurse it." said Yahiko. Kenshin didn't look comforted by the comment.

"Okay, let's get started!!" shouted Sano, running forward.

"Let's see if this works..." said Kaoru.

"Cowabunga!!" yelled Sano, as he jumped and landed on the bokken.

~POP!~

And Kenshin went flying out of the well like the cork on a wine bottle. The only thing the other 3 could hear was the long string of "oro"'s coming out of Kenshin's mouth.

~KRASH!~

And Kenshin crash-landed on the other side of the dojo.

The three of them stared at each other.

"Well...we got 'im out!" said Sano, breaking the silence. He picked up the bokken, which was now almost broken in half.


::Well?? Kenshin's finally out of the well!! ^_^x I'll be putting in Author's notes in this fanfic here and there; just so u know. If some of u are confused about the title, it'll make sense soon enough. I'm skipping school today! ^_^ Well, not really. I WAS gonna go to a doctor's appointment, but my mom canceled it. And my appointment for my braces isn't until 4:00pm. Well, more to come with "The Curse." JA NE for now!! ^_^x

   Rurouni Kenshin: The Curse
It was a normal day at the Kamiya dojo. Well...normal for the people there, at least....

"Busu!!"

"Yahiko-chan!!"

"Don't call me -chan!!"

"Then don't call me busu!!"

Kenshin looked up from doing laundry to see Kaoru and Yahiko running around, teasing each other. Even though Yahiko was supposed to be training, he always found a way to anger Kaoru and the lesson changed to "Run Away from your Sensei before you get walloped in the head with her shinai." Kenshin chuckled and went back to laundry. Yahiko, even though he liked to tease Kaoru, took his lessons seriously. He was growing stronger and had to be the bravest 10 year old Kenshin had ever seen. Kaoru.....she had to be the most beautiful kenjutsu master that Kenshin had ever seen. Only 17, she ran the dojo by herself also while trying to take care of Kenshin, Yahiko, and Sanosuke. Kenshin always wondered how she could do all of that, and still managed to stay as beautiful as she is. They way her raven black hair flows behind her while she runs, the way her blue sapphire eyes sparkled in the sun, the way...

"OI, KENSHIN!!!"

"Oro??" said Kenshin, jolting out of his thoughts just in time to see Yahiko jump over him with Kaoru right behind. But she didn't jump as high.

"Kyaaah!!"

"Oro!!"

~SPLASH!~

Kaoru ran right into Kenshin and sent both of them flying into the well. Both were soaking wet, with small suds here and there. Kenshin's eyes snapped out of swirly-mode and saw the position that he and Kaoru were in.

Kaoru was sitting on his lap, with her head close to his chest. With her gi and hakama soaked, it was easier for Kenshin to see the curves of her body. Kaoru also realized her situation. She had never been this close to Kenshin before. And here she was; sitting on his lap, soaking wet, and breathing in his sweet scent. Both blushed madly, while Yahiko stood there, laughing at the scene.

"This is priceless!!" chuckled Yahiko, "Wait and 'till I tell Megumi!"

"Whaaat?!" yelped Kaoru. Kenshin's eyes were huge. Knowing Megumi, she would spread rumors like fire through a dry forest.

"Oi, what's the commotion?" called out Sano, walking through the dojo gate. It was too late for both Kenshin and Kaoru to get out of the well; as Sano saw them as soon as he walked in.

"So, looks like I don't even have to ask." said Sano, with a smirk, "Looks like Jou-chan was coming onto Kenshin!"

"Oro!!" yelped Kenshin, turning redder than his hair. Kaoru growled and gripped her shinai tighter; turning as red as Kenshin.

"Very funny, Sanosuke. Now help me out, before we both get sick." said Kaoru, calmly. Kenshin knew her plan. Sano shrugged and helped her out, to then recieve a blow from her shinai, sending him sprawling on the ground. Yahiko laughed even harder.

"You're next, Yahiko!!" shouted Kaoru. Yahiko gulped, "Now go get Kenshin and me some towels." Yahiko went without a second thought.

"Oi, you know I was kidding, ne?" said Sano, getting up, rubbing the spot where Kaoru hit him.

"Yeah, well it didn't seem like it." said Kaoru, going over to the well and helping Kenshin out. She stuck out her hand and Kenshin took it. She tried to pull him out, but he was pretty stuck. Kaoru only ended up falling in again.

"Oro! Are you okay, Kaoru-dono?" asked Kenshin. Kaoru blew the hair out of her face in frustration.

"Just peachy." she pouted, "You're stuck pretty good, huh?"

"Seems like it." said Kenshin, scratching the back of his head. Again, Sano helped Kaoru out.

"How to get him out..." said Sanosuke, thoughtfully, "Hmm...I'll try to pull him out."

"I think that's the only option we've got." said Kaoru. Yahiko came back with the towels, while Sano tried to figure out a way to get the stuck rurouni, unstuck.

"So--Kenshin's stuck?" asked Yahiko, handing a towel to Kaoru.

"Yep. And pretty good, too." said Kaoru, drying herslef off, "I couldn't even pull him out."

"And now Sano's trying to?" asked Yahiko, watching Sano take Kenshin's arms and tried to pull him out.

"Seems like it." said Kaoru, watching Sano give up on that idea and tried to pull Kenshin out by his legs, "And it seems like he's doing so unsuccessfully."

"He's stuck, alright!" said Sano, "This is gonna be a little harder than I thought..."

"Ororo...what a predicament..." sighed Kenshin, who was looking pretty helpless.

   I did it!!
YAY! I STAYED UP LATER THAN I HAVE IN THE PAST!!! Okay, first off; the party. IT WAS FRICKIN' SWEET!! We had soooo much fun!! We played this game called "Imaginiff" and it was funny!! Everyone had a good time with that one. And DDR was a great hit!! Steph-chan got mostly A's on the dances!! 0_o She's better than me...and I have the game!!! Ah well; Congrats Steph-chan!! ^_^x Charlie-kun did pretty well his first time on DDR. And he got better everytime he played! It's great exersize!! ^^x Anyways, after the party we had to go to Wal*Mart, because my mom had to buy a B-Day present for a party she was going to today. We got home late, because......*sigh* this is too stupid...

Kenshin: Well, it can't be THAT stupid, can it?

Me: It is. -_-

Sano: What is it, then??

Ed: Why'd u get home late?

Saitou: Picking up boys...? *wink*

Me: *snap* THAT'S IT!!! *steals Kenshin's sakabato and uses Amakakeru Ryu no Hirameki on Saitou; sending him flying* I'VE HAD IT WITH YOUR ATTITUDE!!!

Ed, Sano, Kenshin: She's scary...

Me: *sigh* OKAY! I'm better now!! ^^x *hands Kenshin back his sword* Okay, I'll tell what happened. There were cows in the middle of the road; someone's cows got loose.

Ed: 0_o Cows in the middle of the road??

Me: Yup. We have a lot of Amish around us, so we went to the nearest house and asked him. They weren't his cows. -_- SO, we had to heard the cows down to the farm that recently got burned down. They were his, and we managed to scare the cows into a fenced-in field. We went home...and I missed the premier of Samurai Champloo. T_T I started to watch Metropolis...then decided to stay up till about 2:30am; when they were gonna show it again. Instead, the movie ended up going on longer than expected and they showed Harvey Birdman. 0_o I started to get down hearted...WHEN, it turned on!! ^_^x I taped it, and when it was over at 3:15am, I went to bed.

Kenshin: You stayed up THAT late?!

Me: Yup!! Had to see it!! I got up about 10:00am this morning and watched it 2 more times! It's good!! And Mugen's funny! Jin is awesome and Fuu is just plain hilarious! XD Great show; even if it is the replacement for FMA. WELL, I'd better---

Ed: What about the fanfic?

Me: 0______0

Sano: U forgot, didn't u?

Me: AHHHHHHHHHHH!!! I'M SOOOOOOO SORRY!!! SORRY!!!

Ed: Geez, people are gonna start giving up on u, if u don't post it soon!

Me: I'm soooo sorry!! I'm procratinating too much!! I'm sorry!! I'll get it up as soon as I can!!

Sano: Which will be a month from now.

Ed: No, make that a year.

Me: *snap* STOP IT!!! *beats up Sano and Ed*

I'm going to a B-Day party here soon, so this has gotta be short. I just came back from going shopping, and boy did we go shopping. Me, Trev-kun *my bro*, Mom and Grandma Thomas went shopping. They went and looked at the food, while me and my bro looked at the magazine, electronics, and jewlery. Then I look for a present for Sarah; whos party I'm going to today. I got her a shirt that says "Shock Me! Say something intelligent." XD And I got her a keychain that says, "I'm not bossy. Its just that my ideas are better than yours." I hope she'll like 'em! And also today, I looked in a Video Game mag and saw previews for the new Zelda game. I WANT IT!!! It's looks soooo awesome! Oh, and I got a spoon! 0_ox Well, it's out of a cereal box. It's one of those light-saber spoons that light up. They're awesome!! As weird as that sounds, it is! It lights up! And it's blue! I wanna see that new Star Wars movie. It looks pretty cool. And plus, it's rated PG-13. Which means more violence. YAY VIOLENCE!! I'm not your average girl. I like violent, shoot-'em-up, gory, bloody movies. Crap!! It's raining!! T__T Now we won't have the bonfire at Sarah-chan's...And my bro is playing soccer in the rain. -_- Baka. DUDE, it stormed really bad yesterday!! We lost power for....er...2-3 hours. And when my mom called the electric company, we found out that the power outage was caused by a tornado!! 0_0 And no sirens went off!! I was freaked out when I heard this. Then I threw up 3 times last night. 0_ox And I had no idea why. I think the juice was bad. Either that, or I over ate. *shrug* I slept on the couch, then went into my mom and dad's room and slept in thier bed after they woke up. I felt better in the morning, so I don't think I'm sick. I HATE FRIDAY THE 13TH!!! 0__0 I am EXTREMELY superstious *sp?* and all day yesterday, I carried around a rabbit's foot. I have paraskevidekatriaphobia. Well, I babbled long enough. YIPPIE!!! Another Friday! ^_^x In about 1 week, school is over!! YAAAY!! SUMMER VACATION IS COMING SOON!!

Sano: Yes!! I LOVE summer!

Sano: 'Cause all the hot chicks put on bikinis and other skimpy outfits!

Ed: Summer's awesome, 'cause there's a lot of cooking outings! Which means a LOT of food! ^_^
