   Benny And Joon
Last night I saw the cutest movie called Benny and Joon. It had Johnny Depp in it and he was as weird as usual.

Joon is a girl who does amazing paintings, but she's mentally ill, and she likes to set fire to things. Her older brother Benny is very over-protective of her and won't put her in a home. But everything in their life turns upside down when they win a strange man named Sam (Johnny Depp). Joon lost a game of poker in which her opponenet, also one of Benny's friends, bets his cousin, so that's how they got him. His stay makes Joon get a little bit better, oh, did I mention that he thinks that he's a silent film actor?

Well, I'm not going to give away what happens, but it is a very funny and very cute movie. It's become one of my new favorites.

The Human Race Is Screwed
(note: This really came from a conversation I had with my friend)

Ok, for those of you who don't know, this is my contribution to the soldiers over in Iraq. Not really, I'm just bored and tired of evryone lying about what really will happen. People are screwed because we have guys who rule the world. Now, don't get me wrong, I'm not a feminist, but doesn't it make sense? Men have egos the size of Mars. And they always have to feel superior. Well maybe not, but still, we have wars.

Now, if women were in control, I'm not saying that it would be much better, it could even be worse. If women were in control, we would probably go all out and it would be over in a hour, that's if we really believed in what we were doing. There would be no dinner breaks or cease fires. We would just keep shooting until we either ran out of ammo, or one side was completely dead. That, or we would just sit down and talk about the problem until we came to a solution.

But still, humanity is screwed. I'm so sorry to burst the bubble of those little pampered princesses in the beauty pagents, but there is no such thing as world peace. Because we as humans, always need to feel superior to someone. Whether they be another race or not. Even if they are another gender! That's just how we are. Just take a look at the system of the middle and high schools! Who is at the top? The smart people? Hell, no! It's the people who are backed with the most support from the masses. People who are pretty or good at sports. But there always is a person who is underneath all of them.

My point is, that as long as we still feel the need to feel superior, we will still have wars. And the people who are willing to fight, aren't the ones fighting. It's the innocent boys who are trying to do the right thing. So next time you want to complain about the world, why don't you find something to help us out? Cause you're not gonna help by just giving a whiny opinion to your friend. Although, it might just make us all feel better. But stop whining about things that really don't matter.

   tired and sore
hello my online comrades. i'm so tired, we had volleyball practice today and our coach took us really hard. and i've got shin splints. but on the up side i found a book i was looking for. and tomorrow we have a game. i hope that i get play this time though. i've also ordered fushigi yugi vol. 4 from barnes and noble so it should be here in a little while.

in depressing news, my dad is having a rough time with his new girlfriend. she was married before and my dad called her stupid. and she flipped. i really liked her and her sons too so i hope that it all works out. ugh, i feel somewhat depressed. and confused. but we'll see. i hope that something happens. and something good.

we won our first volleyball match. big whooptie fricken doo. i didn't get to play. and a girl on our team who also didn't get to play burst out in tears cause she thinks that she's all that and she got her bubble burst. i mean, it's so retarded just crying about that.

my mom is nagging me about volleyball. i mean what the heck does she know about volleyball? what?

   september 11th
i just don't know what to say really. i was in 3rd grade when it happened and i still don't understand fully. maybe that's because i still don't know what the twin towers were. all i know is that the world has gone to hell. and if i may say so, i believe that it is so wrong to be fighting over in iraq. well mostly, i mean, they didn't even want us there in the first place and now all of our soldiers are dying because the enemy is in their own backyard, while we don't have a clue what we're doing. of course this is all from an eighth grader's point of view. so what ever. but i really believe that iraq will just be another vietnam. but i pray to god that it won't be and that our brothers and sisters aren't just out there dying for nothing. you may all be asking yourselves, why in the world is she giving this long of a post? well, it's because, i'm someone who can't draw worth a damn. so sue me, but my real talent lies in writing. i've had all of my english teachers compliment me on how well i do in the subject. and no, i'm not just doing this to brag, i'm doing this because this is the only real way that i can honor those who died. and this is the only real way that i can voice my own opinions and not get judged. for all you guys know, i'm just an 8th grade girl, you don't know who i am or where i really live so you can't judge me as fast as you can in real life. people do that so often that it sickens me. and i'm not saying that i'm innocent of doing it! hell, i've done that many times before, and i'll probably do it again, but at least i try not to treat other people like dirt. to those of you who were kind enough to give a damn about what i have to say, thank you. to all the rest, good night, and be strong. i'm not gonna hate you because you have no time for other people. because sometimes i don't either.

   good news, then bad news, then some more good news!!!
ok good news first, i made the 8th grade volleyball team! and i busted my ass to get on it, well so did everyone else. my aunt's a hard coach. so i'm happy.

bad news, my friend minda didn't make it! now i'm on a team filled with preps!!!! help! well, she really was only doing it to see her boyfriend. but i'm so upset.

good news, i'm gonna be sore for weeks. wait a minute, is that a good thing? that and i'll have to start on a diet, and i still have web and i have to get up early, omg, i'm in over my head, someone call a medic. bye bye people.
