Happiness and depression

Yesterday, I was talking to Mark at lunch, and I can't really remember the entire conversation, but it had something to do with one of my best friends, and I told Mark that if he liked he so much that he should ask her out....... Well he already did....... That made me really depressed that he would ask my best friend out behind my back, when he knows how I feel about him. So I asked him what Adrain's answer was, then he went silent. Then he said, "She said to me, the exact same thing that I said to you." I found this rather ammusing, because Mark told me that he wouldn't go out with me because our friendship was so close, and he didn't want to jeprodize it. Well, being the polite young woman that I am, told him how sorry I was, because, I really was sorry. Then I told him that I was going to go get my lunch, and as soon as I got into the cafeteria, and was sure he had not followed me, I bust out laughing. I thought it was so ironic that Adrain would use the same damn excuse that Mark used on me.......HAAAAAAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's sad and ironically hilarious at the same time.
