ok, so I exaggerated a little/weekend
Howdy,
Ok so I went a little overboard with my last post. I guess I got so mad because it was the first game i had, not because of the game itself. I'm much better now, so much so that I decided to give the game to my cuz, he deserves it.
weekend
This weekend was sooo busy. Saturday we went to drop off grandpa at the airport, he went back to Ecuador. My family isn't built for long goodbyes so we all pretty much said our sayonaras and gramps gave us his blessing (for what who knows) and then he left, my Dad stayed with him until his plane left, and therein lies a little worry for me. Dad left with gramps at about 2:30 right? gramps' flight would leave at 3, my family stayed at the waiting room as we do everytime gramps leaves.
So we waited and waited, I went to put another half hour on the parking meter and then it was 5:10. Oh, man where's Dad? Now my gramps is about 80, so this time around Dad was thinking of getting in the plane with him and drop him off at his next flight in LAX, so that crossed my mind first and since none of us has cell phones it was a clear possiblity. 5:30, no Dad. Now I think something happened and they're not even on board. With all the crazy security they might have been detained for something (highly unlikely, but I was really worried by then). 6:00, still no Dad. Finally I go to the information center and have him paged. He appears ten minutes later saying that something was wrong with the plane and that they had to "jump start" it. Problem was they forgot to tell Dad that the plane had left so he just stayed there waiting for news. Scary experience, but it was all good.
Sunday Dad finally had it and decided to return the TV we had. Remember when they hooked up the cable? Well Dad asked the guy about how all black colors on the TV seemed to be "snowy", the guy said that that's cause plasma tv's have a shelf life on them about 2000 hours then they have to be replaced. Well Dad put up with the TV for some time now and then just outta the blue he had it. We had to repack the tv and go to walmart to have it exchanged. hopefully the new one (an LCD) won't give us much problems since I'm the one that gets stuck with the cable connections everytime something happens
Hmmm...I think that's it, more next week unless something else happens
Later
a tachikoma to all who's feeling a little down
