~Act: 01- Part: 02~
Kena stood still, 'If I don't move she can't see me!' He soon realized that she could see him and that
she had no intention of simply going back inside the house and forgetting all about this meeting. Kena turned
around and looked her in the eyes. Kuroneko had grown her hair out longer and had it in a ponytail. She had
exchanged her red highlights for blue ones, making her look more like a fighter. She was dressed in a Jonin's
vest and didn't really stand out from any other Jonin. But despite all of these changes Kena knew that she was
Kuroneko, his wife. He grinned weakly at her and could feel himself sweating. "Hey, Kuro," He said rubbing his
neck. "Kena? Did you finally decide to visit?" Kuroneko said in a rather harsh tone. Kena felt like he had just
been stabbed by her words. He tried to make conversation. "Well I had to go with Kross to get some food and I
just thought that I'd pay you a visit," Kena said grinning again. "Oh yes, Kross, how is he doing?" Kuroneko asked
obviously not caring. "He's doing good. He's a real Taijutsu and Genjutsu expert," Kena said, almost bragging.
Kuroneko didn't say anything.
Several kids came running down the road and stopped just below Kuroneko's apartment. One of them
called out, "Hey! Kuro-Sensei! It's mission time!" Kuroneko and Kena looked down at them. "I've gotta go," She
said walking past Kena. After several steps she turned back to Kena, "I really wish you'd visit more." Kena stayed
silent this time. He heard Kuroneko's footsteps as she left to join her team. Kena summoned up his courage and
yelled out, "Let's have tea together sometime!" Kuroneko turned and smiled and left with her team. Kena stood
alone on the pathway. He leaned on the rail and looked at the clear blue sky.
"That's too bad" Kross said as the two walked home, "I wish I could help, but It's against my code to
impeed on marital problems." Kena skowled, "Just what the heck is your code anyway? You always talk about
proper manners and stuff but what are your standards and rules anyway?" Kross seemed taken aback from Kena's
tone. "You wouldn't understand the concept of rules and standards," Kross said. Kena was boiling mad. "Well it's
not my fault. I wanted to pass on my teachings to the next generation, but Kuro wanted to stay with her squad!"
Kena folded his arms and pouted. "I don't see why, it's not like you have any skills to pass on," Kross replied not
even bothering to open his eyes. "What was that? Why did I ever accept you as my apprentice?" Kena asked
raising his hands to the sky. "I don't quite understand that either," Kross said continuing to walk.

"What? A mission to Iwagakure?" Kuroneko asked. "Yes, We've received many reports of bandit activity
in that area," Tsunade said from her chair. Kuroneko hated being breifed on her missions. It seemed that the
explanations of the missions took longer than the missions themselves. She relaxed in the chair, "So? Why are you
sending us? Bandits don't sound like such a big deal." Tsunade shook her head, "They're a small band of mostly
B-class criminals. We've got most of them in our Bingo Book." Kuroneko tilted her head. "Oh, you don't know about
Bingo Books?" Tsunade said. She grabbed a small blue book from under the desk. She tossed it at Kuro, who
caught it easily. Kuro flipped through the book. "Ah! Itachi and Kisame? It's a complete history check on some of
the worst villans in history!" "Yes, Bingo Books are like a wanted list for several of the world's B, A, and even
S-class criminals," Tsunade said. Kuro put the book in a pouch on her vest, "Okay, I guess this will be an okay
mission then." She said propping her feet on the desk.
