'Goodbye' is not simply a word.
It brings a type of fear.
So 'Goodbye' is not a word
That many want to hear.
'Goodbye' brings a fear
Of never letting go.
But if that theory's true,
Does that mean we should let go?
Why tell someone
'We will not meet again,'
When really you will see them
Time and time again?
The saying isn't true,
'Parting is such sweet sorrow.'
For that is like saying,
'I will not see you tomorrow.'
What shall we say then?
'Until my heart stops beating,
Tomorrow you will see
A face that shall be gleaming
Brighter then the sun that we see.'
