This is really sad, so don't read it if you don't want to cry...
Dear readers,

I have... absolutely horrible news... and, I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to go into major detail with this...

12 years ago last October 1st, a puppy was born. We took that puppy, named her Princess, and she was a member of the family. I remember ever so clearly seeing her in that little box trembling like a little leaf. About 2-3 years later, we had taken her outside while mom was working on laundry. Some of the kids from across the street came by and acted all sweet to her when mom was looking, but as soon as she'd look away they'd start beating her. After that day, she became very protective when it came to people that didn't live at our house every day. She would never bite anyone, but she growled as though she was ready to maul their faces off. About 3-4 years ago, we discovered that she had this really bad hereditary disease (sorry, but I can't remember how to spell it). It was basically where the animal (or even the person) would lose all of their fur/hair and develop scabs all over their body... It didn't seem to bother her THAT much, but it was still pretty saddening. About a year later, she developed arthritis in one of her hind legs, which made it very difficult to jump up onto the couch. Once again, she didn't seem to mind it, so we just kept her on some medications and left it at that. Then last year, the worst happened... She had developed cancer. Luckily, it was the same as the other problems- she didn't notice a thing. We had the tumor removed (which cost a fortune), and it didn't show up again for the longest and she was happy as a clam. Well, ladies and gentlemen, on November 2006, the cancer reared it's ugly, "tumor-fied" head... only it was smaller and firmer (which, for those of you who don't know, is VERY bad)... Little by little it began to eat her up... until Wednesday December 13, 2006, she no longer had the strength to get up... It was time... On that miserable day, Princess Marie was taken to the vet... where she breathed her last breath...

~This post, ladies and gentlemen, is in memory of the best pet that anyone could have ever wished for.
I'll never forget you, Princess <3~
