Only GaiaOnline members would understand, but here ya go!
Twas the night before CHRISTmas, and all through the towns
Not a creature was stirring, not even the cows
The virtual stockings were hung by the forums with care
In hopes that Santa Hooves soon would be there
The Gaians were nestled all snug in there beds
While visions of KiKi Kitties danced in their heads
Mama in her nightgown and dad in his shorts
Had just settled in for a sleep so short
When out on the world map there arose such a clatter
I sprang to the computer to see what was the matter
Away to the keyboard I leaped like a louse,
Sat in my chair, and wiggled the mouse
When what to my wondering eyes should appear,
But a miniature sleigh and eight tiny reindeer
With a little cow driver so lively and quick
I knew in a moment it must be Saint Nick
More rapid then eagles his coursers they came
And he moo'd and bellowed and called them by name:
"Now, Dasher! Now, Dancer! Now, Prancer and Vixen!
On, Comet! On, Cupid! On, Donner and Blitzen!
To the top of the porch! To the top of the wall!
Now dash away! Dash away! Dash away, all!"
So up to the housetop the coursers they flew,
With the sleigh full of toys and Santa Hooves, too.
And then in a twinkling, I saw on someone's roof,
The prancing and pawing of each little hoof--
As I tilted my head and got up for bed,
From the roof he did land and nearly busted his head
A bundle of toys he drug with his mouth
And he struggled to get them out and into the house
His eyes-- how they twinkled! His ears-- how merry!
His mouth and his nose were pinker then a strawberry!
He had a broad face and a little round belly
That shook when he bellowed, like a bowlful of jelly.
His helper was tiny and cute, a right jolly young elf,
And I laughed when I saw him, in spite of myself
A wink of an eye and a twitch of the ear
Soon gave me to know I had nothing to fear.
He spoke not a moo, but went straight to his work
And filled all the stockings, then turned with a jerk
He grabbed all his presents-- doing so with a heave
And giving a nod, out the door he did leave
He leaped to his sleigh to give his team a whistle
And away they all flew like the down of a thistle
But I heard him exclaim as he flew out of sight,
"Merry CHRISTmas to all, and to all a good night!"
