Still here, just more life issues. I'm already exhausted XD But neways, I'm working to complete some drawings so long as Ace Attorney doesn't distract me. I really love that game. Although I gotta admit, there's some pretty funky scenerios in there. I mean, a panty thief...? I didn't know if I should be glancing around to make sure no one else was in the room or laughing.
I have some more comic ideas. One just came today courtesy of my mother finding the best quote ever.
I'm thinking of getting a new icon. I really liked my old one with my name in glitter (the green) but I can't get it back because it's too big for theOtaku's new format ;A; That's why I've had this one for a while (in all honesty I really don't like it). So I'm either finding a new one or making one myself. Actually, I'm leaning more towards making one or asking someone if they'll make one for me. I really want my little fox me there. 2009!
So, happy 2009 theOtaku! And to think I've been here since 7/25/04 (probably not exact)... ^^ well, I hope you all had a good New Years Eve and have a good New Years Day.
I haven't been all that active because my life has been really hectic. Plus when theOtaku was having its little spammer problem my computer took way too long to move through the site so I stayed off a while.
But good news for you all: I got a scanner! Bad news is that I can't figure out how to make it do a preview when scanning. It's so odd. It looks for the darkest tones on paper and scans that, often cutting my drawings in half O_o" I can't figure out how to make it do a preview first so I can adjust what I want it to scan instead of having it do auto.
Other than that, I hope you all have been doing well. I now have Animal Crossing and Apollo Justice in my grip. Plus some new art tools which I've been happily playing around with. I'm hoping for a better year this time with lots of art, comics and less procrastination.
And now I'm going to bed cuz I stayed up till 4 last night and woke up at 8:30. Night everyone. And a very happy New Year *hugs* Comments (0) |

Right...so I got a reply. He doesn't share my feelings which I pretty much expected. It'd be a lie to say I'm not slightly disappointed, but I am happy that I didn't freak him out and he wants to continue being friends. Really when it gets down to it I just enjoy talking with him and like his company so as long as I can do that I'm content.
Been uber busy as usual. Only now I'm procrastinating in very bad ways. I had an excuse yesterday because KOREY gave me a headache with his avi. Yeah, you mind slapped me real good. To the point where I fainted from my headache and spent the next hour recollecting myself in bed. Strange considering I can watch the Pokemon Seizure Episode and other things with annoying flash and be perfectly unaffected. How very strange indeed.
I should be writing but instead I'm typing this at 12:44 at night...I blame Shin. Comments (0) |

That title is probably the best thing to describe my mood right now.
So, life's been hectic as usual but in an annoying sense. I'm making stupid mistakes everywhere on stuff I know by heart. It's really cutting into my self esteem. I used to pride myself in being somewhat intelligent and now I'm wondering what happened for me to lose that. Plus I'm just not motivated for anything anymore because of it.
Tried scanning with my friend's scanner. Didn't work. It washed out all the intricate shading details I put into it so it looked like pure lineart. This is fustrating because I spend DAYS on shading to make it look good. And some of the shades I used were pretty dark too ):
I'm also in a spazzy mood because I just made the wonderful mistake of sending an e-mail to a guy I've had a crush on 3 years about how I've liked him so long. I'm 3 hours away from the dude so this will turn out...interesting to say the least. If he turns me down, I really don't care. I just wanna be able to continue seeing him occassionally.
Blargh
So...not much going on right now. Been having the usual random mental breakdowns. This time of year just always seems to get so stressful D: Which is annoying. And I can't stay focused for longer than a second which always hurts me in the long run. Wht, you're not doing your job very well, haha.
Been posting random sketches here and there. I've completed a few of them at this point but I still lack a scanner. I've also discovered that I have major dust allergies. I must remember to clean the house more often.
I changed the song on here way late, but it's a remix of Saria's Song, just perfect for Halloween coming up. I don't have time to make a costume so I think I'll end up recycling my old one and being either a cat or a witch again. Hopefully my one friend won't come on and read this cuz she'll try and force me into something like a flapper costume or who knows what. Comments (0) |

Blah de Blah
So...week of events...Sage finally got to play Brawl for a bit. Not sure what to think of it. I do know that I love playing as Pit, Pokemon Trainer (charizard mostly), Link, and Ike (although I fail as him). Pit is fun cuz he can fly. I've always had a soft spot for the winged guys. Pokemon trainer...I just enjoyed being a charizard for some reason. Link is a no brainer for me.
Managed to scan things, buuuuuut...none of it is done. I just scanned the sketches while I could cuz I don't think I'll have access to a scanner again for a while.
And a few fun facts: I was kicked off chat by a mod XD It was around midnight and I was procrastinating so I asked a mod to kick me off. So she did. And I got my work done. Huzzah.
Btw, if you guys do see me on chat, ask me if I have work to do. Most likely I do. If so, promptly tell me to get my lazy butt out of chat and get my work done. I seriously need this >_> Comments (0) |

Sooooo, yeah...I've had a stressful week and it doesn't seem to be improving. Lots of problems and some depressing news from my friends. I swear sometimes men can be so heartless. (not saying women aren't cuz there are plenty of chick's I want hit for being so mean to guys). *sigh* but whatever.
I've been on an odd Disney/Dreamworks kick. Playing all the Disney songs done by Phil Collins and Elton John. They rock. I wish Disney would have 2D movies with good songs in them again. I know the "Princess and the Frog" is coming out and it's 2D but I'm still skeptical. Bring in a decent song and I'll be all over it.
And about my last post about the scanner; I was just worried about it cropping my work because it's tiny. But I decided against using it. My friend let me use it while she went out annnnnd...man, she did not tell me how bad her computer was virused O_o I had to turn that thing on and off 6 times within a half hour. The computer's virus protection was complaining it was out of date and that her computer had 40+ viruses, trojans...then a window pops up saying something is hacking in and taking personal/private information O_O" Popups galore too. And when I tried to get on internet it would take me there, then spazz and take everything off the screen. So in short, I gave up trying to use her scanner and just left. I've offered her a few free virus protection sites but she says virus protection is blocked on her computer (?) because of its location...her computer was pretty new too...I'm starting to suspect she's not very tech savvy. Especially when she said she could plug the scanner in my laptop without realizing you need a program for it. And she didn't know what wi-fi was.... '~' Comments (0) |
