1: Ironically I don't like vampires despite the fact that I have a comic about one. I'm more into elves XD
2: I own a flute which I occasionally play. Right now I'm currenlty trying to play the Twilight Princess trailor theme. It just needs some cleaning up.
3: I like purple. It's the answer for everything.
4: I like style differences. I can recognize people's art just by the style and have freaked out many by doing so (especially with that paint program I had a while ago. Someone would be drawing and I'd write "Hi 'person's username' " and they'd be all OO" "how do you know who I am?!")
5: I used to have a turtle named Lucky. So in memory of him I named a ceramic turtle Lucky.
6: I had a cool dream once about being wolf Link and fighting an uber cool boss, and when I woke up I found that I had been chewing on my sheets. I find this facinating because I don't normally do things in my sleep. And I had been wondering why the boss I was fighting tasted like blankets. lawl I'm lame.
7: Best ideas are spawned by the shower. No idea why I get my best ideas there. All hail the mighty shower!

Happy Halloween!
So my one comic is up. Like I said, the second Halloween comic might not be up for a while T_T but it looks good so I hope no one will mind if it's thanksgiving and I'm posting Halloween still ^^" But yesterday I got a pumpkin. It was really hard to find one because they were all smashed ;_; I soon found out why too. A BUNCH of little kids were running around and their parents weren't watching them. They were picking up any pumpkin they saw, then dropping them and running over to another one. One little girl who couldn't be more then three was picking up ones half her size and dropping them. She hit one I was looking at with one she was holding, making a nasty spot appear on it so I choose another. I've had to hold off on decorating the outside of my house because people kept pulling my decorations down. '^' seriously, why do people ruin holidays? I've been so busy I didn't even realize tomorrow was Halloween and I don't have a costume. I think I'll just wear the one from last year and be a cat.

Okay, that was interesting with the whole theotakulypse going on there. Well anyways, about my last post, I'm fine now. I was just really mad at myself because I worked hard on something, and I mean super ridiculously hard, and I thought everything was going well, but something sprang up and slapped me in the face and I found that all the work I did still wasn't good enough and fell below my expectations for myself. So yeah...I'm a slight perfectionist :) But I'm over it now. Still worried about having to redo my mistakes but mreah.
Later tonight I should have a comic up. Wanted to post Friday but as we already know the otaku kinda had a mini seizure there. I'm currently working on a second Halloween one. I know I won't get it done before Wednesday. Actually, I don't think I'll get it done anytime near Halloween so I guess it'll be a Happy belated Halloween comic, but I still wanna post it. I decided to experiment with my formatting a bit. Instead of a comic strip with boxes, I'm varying the box sizes and shapes and making it more manga-y. Yes manga-y. It looks interesting to be honest with you. I've never really tried this. And lucky for you Roland shows up again. He's been gone these past few comics. I miss the little ego-centric vampire. Rawr, so how's everyone? I'm super exhausted -.-" why is it that I seem to get busier every year? But I have one more panel left of my Halloween comic. I'm going to try my hardest to make a second one as well. I'm thinking of trying a different method with that one and seeing how it works out. I dunno. Still having the strangest mood swings from super sugar high happy to the most depressed emo mushroom (it's a term some friends of mine have been calling me when I'm upset. I don't get it either.) Annnnnd I'm getting my usual strange winter cravings. Last year it was popscicles, this year I had the craving for fried chicken XP Getting better at watercolors and I've almost got a commission for my friend done. I plan on scanning it cuz it's kinda cool looking. And it's almost a month till Roland and Basil are 1 year old. Comments (3) |

So I'm feeling slightly better. Still depressed, but mostly feeling icky. My stomach just won't stop feeling nautious (haven't gotten physically ill but man). I'm connecting it with both a high stress level and something else O_=. Seriously, you guys are lucky in that regard. That and clothing shopping. Roland and Basil comic is taking a LONG time to shade, but I think that's because I actually put a background in it and am trying to make it semi professional. Still working at myanimeworld's art trade. I really don't like the art in that one. Or the joke. Bout the only thing I'm okay with are the expressions because they portray the characters well. My one friend got Pokemon and won't shut up about it. She kept yelling cuz she wanted a scyther and it kept running away. She got so fed up with it she said that the game needed a gun so you could shoot em.

Gonna move the flash art thing into my profile or intro whatever when I have a life. Till then you're all just gonna have to scroll downward. So stuff happened and now I'm uber stressed and upset and thinking myself pathetic -.- I'm sorry for all who read this but I really need some sort of outlet, please understand.
So yeah, I'm having one of my low self-esteem days and this girl made a comment which was basically one big slap in the face (whether intentional or accidental I'm not sure) and now I feel extremely stressed and tired and my stomach hurts. It's not that little comment that upset me, it's just that and all the events that have been going on in my life. That comment just was the last straw. Again, sorry for ranting. But I guess on a positive note, Fire Emblem Goddess of Dawn (or Radiant Dawn) has more support conversations which are always fun. Explains why it took them so many months to get it over here, translation issues. Comments (5) |

Feeling much much better. Thanks to all of you who wished me well ^^ I greatly appreciate it. What's even better is that all my friends who were depressed are slowly cheering up again =D
So I've been playing with watercolor pencils lately. I get most of it, but again my colors come out WAY too light (I seem to have that problem with everything except photoshop). I'm working hard to get my Roland and Basil comic done. I especially want to make something for December 1st. Why? Cuz that's when I posted my first Roland comic ^^ Their one year birthday! As I stated earlier, the concept came months before that, but I never fathomed making more. Heck, I hated vampires. And irionically Roland's making me like them Oo" lawl at the logic of that. Been a while since I bothered you all with sage's corny logic. XP
But yeah, I'm excited about that. And Super Smash bros Brawl. Sonic is in it now ^^ Oh yeah! Now all it needs is Midna (even if she ends up an assist trophy) and MegaMan (the old one, not the current one) and I shall be content. Ah, then there's Fire Emblem Goddess of Dawn (yes, I know that's not it's name, but that's what it was originally called and I think it sounds cooler) and Mario Galaxy (curious to see how that turns out). Then comes scouting for a DS so I can play Poyo Pop, Pheonix Write, and Phantom Hourglass. Gamer's bliss XD Comments (4) |
