Just finished the last Harry Potter book. I gotta side with Mokusei, it's rather shocking to know that it's over. After so many years of reading it, it's over. Kinda sad. I liked it though. A little strange in places, hated the epilouge, but overall good good book. And I'm glad there was more Luna. I like her. Trying to get more pictures and comics up ^^ Comments (10) |

Meh, today was a pretty off day. My brain feels like it just short circuited on me. Mokusei went down memory lane as well as a few random things which made me reflect on my own stuff. It's funny how many good drawings I have that I sketch but never complete. I had quite a few drawings I wanted to color, have inked, but never did color. Not to mention the stack of comics I have that need darkening. Ray's been in over 5 comics yet I've only posted one.
Also debating changing my style a bit, or at least experimenting a bit with things here and there. Not really too happy with my current style (this excludes my chibis used in comics, I like those. They have nice expressions). I want to go for a more serious style, something suitable for elven, cat characters which I tend to mostly draw. I want the thin, pretty look, but my style looks more like shoujo faces crammed onto blocky, attempted shounen bodies. -_- sorry for ranting, just not feeling up to my normal hyperness. I did draw a cute Puyo Pop drawing of myself. I think I'll post that if I can get it colored...and I just realized it's Friday. I've decided
It's taking far too long to make a special comic just to celebrate the 50th one I've done. So I'm just gonna post comics as usual and just put a lil panel at the end to celebrate. Might possibly color it. It's just too hard to intentionally come up with something funny. It's easier to just let random ideas smack me in the head then to look for one XD I've had all these ideas stacking up waiting for this "special comic" and it's driving me mad so I say forget it. I bet you guys would rather have 10 funny comics then one terrible comic, ne?
So what do I have planned for the next comic? A conversation a friend and I over heard about harry potter. No spoilers in it unless you haven't read the first book :P And I'm kinda experimenting a little with the layout. It's vertical as opposed to my normal horizontal O.O gasp, what has the world come to?! Art kinda stinks, but meh. The sooner I get 50 out of the way the sooner I can work towards 100 XD Comments (4) |

Very sweet AMV I found. Note: only watch if you've finished Princess Tutu cuz there's spoilers, and it really won't make much sense unless you've seen the anime ^^ Or I guess if you're really in the mood for a Celine Dion song you could click it anyways. I like her songs.
I just finished watching Howl's Moving Castle. I can't believe I didn't watch it sooner. It's such a good movie. My friend had sent me the sound track long ago and I fell in love with that, now I get to say I saw the movie as well. Now off to the book, lawl. Comments (5) |

No art or comics this week, sorry. I have to get the two drawings I mentioned in my last post done. I have all my art trade drawings sketched out and darkened. All that's left is clean up and color. Those are put on temporary hold tho. And good news for me, someone wanted me to draw a header for their site. I just hope I have enough time to do it. :3 I'm happy with the header request tho cuz it's for a site that will be frequently visited by people so yay!
And Peach is now in Brawl. She was in a vid for it next to Mario, Zelda, and Kirby. 99% sure they wouldn't put her there if she wasn't playable.
Rawr, kinda in a mellow mood today. I've been working on a few drawings, one being surreal, the other being realism. The realism one I'm very proud of because I'm using my prisma color pencils and while it isn't the most professional job, I'm happy with how the blending came out. So I show this drawing to my friends and family and man, talk about heavy criticism. My own parents, who don't have an artistic bone in their body, claimed they could do better. They told me I'd been spending too much time on that crud. However they liked my surrealism one, saying I should get that one finished. Actually, they yelled at me for taking too long on it. It's complicated because while it is surrealism, I'm trying to make the items look real in shading, one of the items being metal...very reflective shiny metal -_-" hence why it's taking so long. Especially since it bends in many different directions. But oh well. I'll still finish both of them.
Again, yay for the appearance of Ike XD
If they put a second Fire Emblem character I'm pretty sure if it's not from Path of Radiance or Goddess of Dawn, it'll be Eliwood, just to be similar to Melee. Balance Ike's blue hair with Eliwood's red. I'd rather have Roy again. He's way stronger than his father and more worthy to be in the game in my opinion. I'd back up Marth, but I've never played the first Fire Emblem game so I don't know how he is or how he fights. I've heard he's very emo in the game, but I wouldn't know. Comments (4) |

^^ so I'm happy. The Fire Emblem representative in super smash bros brawl has been decided and it is Ike! Ike was a powerful character in the game and he certainly beats what I was expecting to be the choice of Eliwood, Roy's father. If Eliwood was the main Fire Emblem character in brawl, I'd scream, cuz unlike Roy, he's a freakin pansy. I send him out and bam, he's dead. -_- Eliwood might still make it, but even if he does Ike makes up for it :D Go Ike! Comments (6) |

Making fun of the bad voice acting to the Tales of Phantasia remake for gameboy. Watch the whole thing. I guarantee you'll laugh. It's so random.
As for my 50th comic, still working on it. Haven't finished the lineart yet. And it has been decided: Basil's hair is brown. I wanted it to be a dark color, so it was between dark purple and brown. Brown won cuz Basil's just an ordinary human, so he needs an ordinary color.
