Yeah, so lately I've been a little annoyed. Two friends of mine who are total yaoi fanatics won't leave me alone with Roland. They're insistant that ALL vampires are gay or bi and insist that he should hit on a guy or Basil -_-" I have nothing against gays (I actually know a few. Nice ppl) but I have no plans on making Roland or Basil gay. So it's verrrrrry annoying. Especially since they don't drop it. And it's very suspicious that they all are, considering I never heard this or read this anywhere before except in the anime world. Yeah. Ignore my rant. It just bugged me that they won't leave me alone and I needed to let off some steam. With my heavy workload, the last thing I need is ppl pushing yaoi (not my thing, I prefer girl/boy couples) on me. *Dances around happily* Fire Emblem's now a hub on the otaku ^^ Yay! And just in time, I wanted to submit a Fire Emblem doodle. I also am working on a manga series for the otaku. So far, it has no title (only one series of my 10 or so mangas actually have a name). But it has characters! But no plot...but some of the characters are named! ^^" heh...yeah.

O_O I am like a kid with a sugarhigh right now! Guess what I just found? The trailor to the next Fire Emblem game! Stare in awe at its graphics (yeah, kinda a violent part, but whtever) WooT! I want this game NOW!!!
And I haven't beat fire emblem 10 yet...(this is the sequal, Fire Emblem 11 ^^" whoops)
And this one...could be considered a spoiler if you can understand japanese and can tell what's going on. As far as I know, it's just a bunch of random events and speaking, but I'm a lil on the dense side.
If you haven't already, please see my art and comic in the fanmanga section. But mostly, I want ppl to see and comment on the drawing called "Basil". It's part of a hair experiment to make prettier hair and I would like a lil advice and direction. ElvesAteMyRamen was kind enough to give me a lil tip, but I'd like more so I can compare and see where I should head with this. Thanks.
And wht, I'm gonna attempt to draw that temple idea, but man is it gonna be a pain. If photoshop would just cooperate. I really wanted to color my godmod thing. And whtdragon, I have a new photoshop problem. I can't see the colors anymore when I paint >_< gah this thing conspires against me! Thanks for helping me out so much *bows*

Oh, and I'm convinced I should work for nintendo. I just thought up an awsome temple design in my sleep. It was a combination of the two temples in Majora's Mask in the Ikana Canyon area and the Arbitures (sp?) Grounds. It had lots of stairs heading in different directions all around this central area. It featured the starry night around it. Truly pretty. Wish I could better describe it.
Might submit art, might not. Just depends on how fast I can finish this really big project. Tis gonna be a busy weekend of early 5:30 mornings and chocolate to stay awake and alive. No Roland tho. I didn't finish shading him. Sides, the fangirl I created is starting to scare me. Comments (1) |

So yeahs, I've been gone a while. I had lots of work, felt super congested, and have a headache. Lots of fun there. Bad news is, the work and headache aren't ending. Good news is, I'm not congested and my friend just let me borrow Ouran High School Host Club ^^ YAY! But yeah, things have been crazy. I met a guy who sounded like Sano from Rurouni Kenshin, created a fangirl (who scares the life outta me O_o she's obsessed with Roland), had a friend of mine force me to listen to "they're taking the hobbits to Isenguard", had a girl randomly start singing The Little Mermaid, and got lots of Thin Mint cookies XD yay! And thanks to whtdragon, I now know where to start looking for tablets ^^ Thank you! When I have time I'm gonna see what's up with photoshop. For now, I'm gonna deal with my headache.
Oh, and what I forgot to mention is that I've been experimenting with my style. You see, after reading vampire knight I wanted to make more flow-y, pretty hair and eyes (I've always wanted to but it inspired me to finally start working on it) so I've been redrawing all my characters hair (I have lots of characters that I never mention) and working on their proportions and poses. I'd like everyone's honest opinion on them when I put them up, k? My friend already told me it looked super spiffy, but I angled it wierd in some places so I still need practice >_> Also, any one else notice that anything in the fanmanga under original anime got randomly moved to misc anime? I went to see if anyone commented on my Roland comics and flipped out for a good 5 minutes thinking I made a stupid mistake until I noticed EVERYTHING was under misc. O_o the otaku made a mistake :P Ah well. I'll visit you all in a week when my work load dies (hopefully) Comments (1) |

Kays, so I submitted a doodle and another comic. Please check them out. But first: if anyone knows how to work photoshop 5 *cough*whtdragon*cough* could they please explain how to make a background that doesn't over ride the already colored subject? Basically, I figured out to color my art, I need to set a layer for multiply in order for it to show up without coloring over the lineart. Unfortuanantly, I made a second layer and tried to make a background with fancy effects (cross hatching cuz I was experimenting) in "multiply" and the effect covered up my original coloring of the subject -_- yeah, I stink at explaining and I stink at technology. I'm a hands on learner. So, can anyone help? Also, can anyone explain why on my computer, with every mouse click the colors layer themselves but on my laptop, I actually have to have a layer to get shading? And is it easier to color and layer on photoshop with a tablet (I plan on getting one soon) and while I'm asking annoying questions, anyone know where to get a cheap, big tablet? I was looking for one this Christmas, but there weren't any bigger than 3" and they were a ripoff. I want one that's big so I can draw on it, not take notes. Thanks.
I'm gonna photoshop my godmod entry ^^ and if that doesn't work I'm inking it and prisma coloring it (well, I plan on doing that anyways. I like variety)
I feel better today. Whatever was bothering my stomach and making me feel like a zombie went away and was replaced with me being almost deaf in my left ear from congestion. Better than feeling like I'm gonna throw up all day. Although it's rather awkward cuz none of my friends seem to get that I can't hear them. So yeah, right now I'm just stuffed up, a little coughing here and there but otherwise okay. And I slept in late this morning ^___^ Dreampt of popsicles in a school building with a park inside and I was discussing flavors with my friends and the guy I like. Tasting the popsicles was the best tho. I had an orange one :D Yeah, I can taste in my dreams...somehow. Just like how I can also feel pain, which is bad cuz I get hurt in my dreams a lot. You know how they say when you fall in your dream and hit the ground you die? Well, I hit the ground and I'm not dead. I just felt like I broke my leg (it hurt. bad) So yeah.
And about my doggie. His vet visit when well. Infact, he was so happy to be in the car and practically jumping for joy in the waiting room. It wasn't until the vet came out that he started barking and even then he was pretty good. Got his rabies shot without a fuss. Only problem is that he gained three pounds >_<" He's getting way too fat. But I found out that this medication I was giving him for an itching problem (he bites himself nonstop) stimulates his appetite, so I'm giving him more food than he needs. Hopefully now he can cut the pounds. The vet's cat attacked my reciept XD Comments (1) |

Woot! Earliest post I've ever made! And probably will remain that way cuz the only reason I'm on now is cuz I feel like a zombie. Can't even sleep I feel that bad ^^" Worst thing is that I got a mountain of work in front of me to do and that never stops. Bleh, I wanna get better already. (currently tis 6 in the morning. When I first got on it was 5:30)
But in other news, I have to take my doggie to the vet for his rabies shots. First time I took him the vet told me he was genetically challenged and a drama queen (basically cuz he flopped on the table squeeking and threatening to bite) But he's a nice vet. He has his own pets roaming around the office (his cat likes to sleep ontop of the cash register XD) My doggie's a lil brown toy poodle and he really is a drama queen. I once took him to the groomers and he figured out that if he sqeaked everytime they picked him up they wouldn't trim him. They called me later that day saying he was in "great pain", yet I checked him over and he was happily wagging his tail and jumping on me. Sneaky lil thing. *yawn* I'm tired.
