Chat
So I tried theotaku chat. Fun stuff, but that main chat goes way to fast. Too many people responding at once. But as I predicted an Avatar conversation popped up XD I'm very happy to see Avatar again. Excellent, excellent show. I'll be sad to see it finish. But anyways, back to the chat...I did figure out how to make my own room. It was interesting. If you ever go on the chat and see a room called "The Lair" that'd be my doing. Only you older otakus would probably get that joke of the Sage having her "lair" where she whisks away cute critters and games XD
I also colored a picture. The lineart was drawn by the wonderful kathy100. If possible I would like some critique seeing as color is my weak spot. I'm going to post a comic in a bit. I'm expecting major flameage since it pokes fun of "Twilight". Either that or spammage about how Bella and Edward are perfect for each other and that Jacob person can die. I swear, some of the fangirls of "Twilight" can be vicious. That and Naruto. *shrug* I'm also working on a few pieces but they seem to be going slowly.

Ah, yesterday I was so busy I forgot to say 'Happy 4th'! I hope all you Americans had a good, patriotic day. Mine started out a little rough as you could guess from my last post I put up at 2 in the morning. Yeah, so basically I had trouble sleeping after that and decided to watch t.v. to calm myself from my little nightmare and get sleep. I was probably only out for a half an hour when all the sudden some chick is screaming in my neighborhood. Usually it's pretty quiet around here so this was highly annoying. It was some girl screaming profanities at her boyfriend at the top of her lungs. Sad part is, I could hear her and my house was a good distance away -.- Someone had to call police.
Other than that everything went well. I spent the whole day swimming with my family at their place then obviously went out to see fireworks.
And for some reason I'm now on a HUGE environmental kick. I've been doing all the stuff to save energy. I know I'm just one person, but I figure it's like this one person said "If everyone thought 'I'm just one person and can't make a difference but I'm going to try anyways' then sure enough we'd all make a difference". So I'm one person and saving energy. Hopefully others will join me. Actually, I encourage all you otakus to join me cuz man we need to start saving this planet before its too late. And really, a lot of the stuff is pretty simple. I mean, using cloth towels instead of paper ones, replacing regular lights with those energy efficient light bulbs (I actually recommend this one because I used one of those light bulbs and I can't even remember the last time I had to change it. They're really good.), using open windows for light instead of lamps, walking or riding bikes (fun and healthy XD ), bringing cloth bags to the grocery store instead of wasting plastic ones, using water filters (that's where bottled water comes from anyways so why not save the plastic?), and of course recycling and not littering. Small little tasks, but if everyone did it we'd really be helping out. Also there's unplugging devices you're not using because apparantly they still use electricity if you leave them plugged in. So I encourage people to try these. Not too difficult and it does help, even if you're just one person.

And because I do still encourage people to check out this experiment.

Fustrated
Well, this new computer I'm stuck with stinks. I'm now aware why so many people hate windows vista. The dang this is anything but user friendly. No wonder everyone kept down grading back to the XP. Also, the scanner refuses to work at all on it. I'm going to try to download the stuff onto my laptop again and see if it goes better but I'm doubtful. Last time I hooked the scanner to my laptop the pictures came out as giant fuzzy globs TT_TT I couldn't adjust the thing either. It makes me irritated. But I do have my tablet. I just really stink at shading and whatnot on it. Maybe I'll try color and work from there.
Been having wierd wacked out dreams that are really starting to annoy me. It's like picking at some of my fears X( *sigh*
And my dog has bladder stones again. I took him for a walk and there was blood in his urine. I can't afford to take him to a vet again (over $1000 treatment) so I'm giving him lots of water in hopes I can flush the stuff out of him. Apparantly his brand is small enough that it can break apart and be washed out. If it persists I will take him in cuz he's my baby but I'd prefer he cured himself. The surgical recovery last time was a nightmare for the both of us.
But I suppose out of all the negative there is some positive. My friend came back from a trip to Europe and gave me European chocolate. I am barely resisting moving over there and buying my weight in the stuff. Best. Chocolate. Ever. She also came back with a boyfriend Oo" I swear, some girls are lucky.
Oh, and I didn't change my music. I couldn't find "Love Carrier" anywhere T^T I highly recommend the song if you ever find it. It's a very nice guitar song. The guy has a smooth voice and it's very relaxing. I forget the artist, but if you go to the last page of my art in my portfolio you should see an old drawing titled 'Love Carrier'. The information's crammed in there.
-------
And regarding the experiment: they're gonna do it. A report came out that apparantly had 90 some pages of math as to why these guys think it's safe. Better information can be found here if you're interested (including this report). This is actually a pretty good site.

Well, yesterday was just a good news/ bad news scenerio.
Good news:
I beat Phantom Hourglass and it was awesome. I love Linebeck. The game had me hyper for a good hour afterward and I repeatedly listened to Linebeck's theme.
Bad news:
I learned that despite my slight artistic skills I fail at drawing the figure 8. This was both funny and sad and I am making a comic about it.
Good news:
I drew lots of art.
Bad news:
My dad killed my computer when he came over requesting to use it (ironically because he crashed his) and decided to be a handyman and fix it himself. This resulted in him taking my computer with him, giving up on fixing it, and buying me a cheap computer with 1 gb memory that refuses to accept my scanner, printer, and all other devices from my old one. So no art.
Good news:
I have my tablet that works with my handy dandy laptop
Bad news:
I'm terrible at using it XD Not only that but my desk is a mess from trying to clean up so there's no where to set it. I hate that about cleaning.
Good news:
I had onion rings which is rare
Bad news:
That was hours ago and despite having brushed my teeth I still taste them in my mouth and feel its calories Oo' ew. If it wasn't so late I'd probably exercise.
Good news:
My dog is no longer limping and is completely back to normal.
Bad news:
My cat didn't want to be pulled out from under my bed and gave me a lovely scratch down the leg.
Then interesting news:
I found half a dead mouse Oo" I'm always kinda creeped out when I find half an animal on the sidewalk. Especially when you can see their bones sticking out. I could see the mouse's spine and rib cage. It was gross. And it makes me wonder why there's only half a mouse lying around. I feel bad for the poor thing.
It also made me think of something I wanted to do with a comic once. You see, back in school we had to piece together these rodent skeletons (real rodent skeletons). Well, I kept mine cuz it was cool and put it on top of my bookshelf. This was a looooong time ago. So much later I thought I should try to dust off the top of my bookshelf and feel something sharp jab me. I pull it down and screamed because it was that mouse skeleton and I forgot I put it there XD I still kept it though. It was just too funny. Sides it feels disrespectful to throw away a mouse skeleton.
Tomorrow when it's morning and I'm awake I'll change the music to my site. I'm thinking of doing "Love Carrier". I drew something for it shortly after joining this site, but being a youngling artist I failed at drawing everything. But the drawing's still special because there's a lot of meaning in the song and it makes me feel good. It's religious, but even if you're not it's still an awesome song.

Right so...no one guessed what team I root for in baseball XD Yeah, I really didn't expect anyone to get it. Although I will say I have seen both teams mentioned. I like baseball. It just seems more stragetic than football ever did (American Football which should've been called Tackle Ball or something)
Comics...well, I had two done. A "Twilight" joke and a Zelda/Portal joke...but someone fried my computer with the scanner -o-" Maybe later I'll draw a funny scene I enacted in WindWaker.
Today I went to a park. Twas fun. I saw these MASSIVE spiders Oo" at first I was looking at them going "hey look, a spider ^^" then as they started getting bigger...oh man. I also saw a racoon. And lots of tortoises. Tortoises amuse me. You think they're slow, but man can they move when they want too XD They just start running...then stop for food...then run again.
Been going through some odd mood swings. I'm hoping I get over it soon. I've also been going on some environmentalist phase. I seem to want to conserve everything. And the book I mentioned last post, I forgot to get the author of before I returned it. Sorry.
----
Well, safety tests have been done and the experiment is expected to be carried out. Not sure what to think since there's still a lot of 'what ifs'. But the scientists posted their results from evaluation so hopefully others will look it over and make sure everything's fine.

Right, so looking back at my last post, yes. Yes I own a poodle. He's a miniature poodle. And he doesn't look anything like a poodle because I groom him at home. About the only thing he has resembling a poodle is a poof on top of his head and a poof at his tail. I trim the rest so he's comfortable cuz where I live it's HOT. And he is doing much better. I've started taking him for very short walks. He walks fine, it's just when he gets excited and runs that there's a problem and he limps again. But he's been good and walking.
I finished reading a book called "The King of Attolia". Very good book, although I think it was part of a series. I still got it, but I think reading the other books might've helped. It's about this theif who somehow ends up a king. He plays dumb, but is very clever. Anyways, this soldier gets mad at him because his loyalties are with the queen and hits him. Instead of the guy getting hanged, the king decides to make him his attendant and pretty much tries to tick the soldier off anyway he can. Pretty funny.
And comic wise, I've been working on it. I have two panels left to shade and then I have to redarken the lineart. *sigh* I had another comic lineart but I'm going to have to redraw it. I accidently bit my lip and blood dripped on it Oo" ew. Expect Phantom Hourglass jokes.
And I went to a baseball game recently. Points to who can guess what team I root for.
Annnnnnd I had an interesting idea for a children's story. It's religious and I'm hoping to work on it. Unfortunatly, besides having a storyboard I have no idea where to begin. And publishing is just a pure nightmare.
I still encourage people to spread the below information...or actually try to contact someone important about it.
-----
Remember how I mentioned I've been having a lot of political dreams lately? Well, it's been followed by lots of deep thoughts and a little worry. I feel not enough people are taking proactive approaches to our future. I mean, there's environment issues...not to mention scientists performing potentially dangerous experiments and no one seems to care. They just store the thought away and choose to continue living in ignorance. Ignorance won't solve these problems. I know not everyone shares my opinion, but I'd like to share/vent if everyone's alright with that.
First, there's this:

Very few people have even heard of this. I don't know about you, but I'd think this should be mentioned, considering it plays with the lives of the entire world and doesn't seem to serve much purpose other than knowledge gain. But what good is knowledge if something goes wrong and we're all destroyed? It's a risk I don't want to take. I don't know...just so many theories are changed all the time, I do not think it safe to rely on one and hope for the best.

So I'm still a little off after learning that little bit from before and intend on keeping it at the end of my posts for a while. Dunno, I just don't think we should be meddling in such things. Either way, I'm here to post some happier news. My dog is doing a whole lot better. He's still limping about, but only when he wants to run. Walking he moves on all fours. Although there's an odd bump on his leg that's really red. *sigh* I'm gonna keep an eye on that. Out of all the poodles I get the genetically challenged one. But he's my poodle and I love him. Such a big puff of love. I also entered a drawing in that NYAF contest. Don't think I'll win, seeing as all the good artists submitted ^^" heh...oh wells. And I've started working on comics again. So much has popped up I almost forgot about them. Hope you're all anxious for a portal joke.

I'm Back
As a few of you already guessed I'm back from my trip. It was very busy and...interesting...and it rained a lot. Really it wasn't that bad, just the 'interesting' made it seem bad at times. Basically, genius me ended up locking my keys in my car right as I got there...this is why I hate cars. But the rest of the days went fine.
I got back yesterday and returned to a filthy fish tank, an empty cat dish, and my dog still limping about (this is what I get for asking my dad to come over and care for my pets while I'm away). So I cleaned the tank and my fish is happy. My cat got fed, to which he over dramatized it like he'd been starving for weeks (he had enough food to last him a day and a half in his dish. So he went without eating half a day). As for my dog, yesterday he was very lathargic, refusing to even greet me. I was really worried and I planned for a vet trip tomorrow, but changed my mind after seeing him today. He's still limping and favoring his hind left leg, but he's setting it down occassionally and he followed me around the house and even tried to jump on my bed (the little goof). I figure he's acting better and he's using his leg more, he must be healing well on his own. If it continues long I definantly will take him to a vet, but for now I'm just going to watch his progress. Thank you to those who've prayed for him.
Also, I did an art meme on dA. I'll post the link for anyone interested in seeing it since I obviously can't post it here. The format of those things are too awkward for theotaku. I've also submitted some other works there, but they'll make their way here tomorrow. I only submitted there first because I wouldn't have to resize. But personally I still like submitting here more. ^^ I just ran out of time.
