Yeah, so anyways yesterday was really busy for me. First of all, I lost my internet (again) so I decided to finally watch Pirates of the Caribbean Curse of the Black Pearl (never seen it before). I gotta say, it was actually pretty good ^^ And for once I actually liked Orlando Bloom's character (I don't really like Legolas in LOTR. He did nothing except occacianally shoot a few arrows). Now Wil, he actually did something. Sword fighting!!!! Yay!!! So yeah, I now know what's going on. And I now know that the zombie monkey's back. Pirates and zombies....interesting yet effective combo. Okay, so after that, I got my internet working again. So I watched two episodes of Chobits and one episode of Angelic Layer. And I read a really boring book... -_-" sigh.
I haven't drawn anything or worked on anything I've already drawn. The only drawing I did was sketch out a few of my ocs which of course as you should already know will never be posted until I get something published. I want to draw one of Zooka's characters but I just can't decide who. They're all so cool looking and if I draw one I want to make it a funny picture, and I want to have the personality right cuz I don't want to mess up the character. Blah.....Zooka, if you're reading this I'm open to any suggestions!!!
So neways, I thought of an interesting question: what made you think of your username or where did your username come from? Mine is from two videogames: Zelda and Fire Emblem. Zelda is the sage of light and the sages in Fire Emblem kick butt, so I just put magic at the end cuz I rule at all elements because I'm cool like that and tada! Sage of Magic!

videogame fact o the day: A lot of stuff in The Legend of Zelda is inspired from Miyamoto's explorations in Kyoto when he was a kid. Especially the caves. Ever notice how there has never been a Zelda game without a cave?

So how was everyone's Fourth of July? Mine was awsome. I really got to see a good display this year.
But neways, I got a new comic idea. I'm out of my drawing slump (really quick this time but no complaints here). Alright, so here's my idea. You know those little aliens in Majora's Mask that try to steal those cows from Romani's Ranch? Well, have you ever wondered what they do with the cows? Can you say "Got Milk?". Yup, that's my idea. Interesting, no? (and yes, I'm quite aware that Teen Titans had newfu aliens stealing cows for energy but that's Teen Titans and this is Zelda. They're stealing cows for milk I tell you!)
I found an old drawing of mine and I think I'll finish it and post it. Other than that, nothing really facinating went on here. I watched the first episode of Chobits and the second of FMA and that's pretty much all I did other than endless fireworks watching. meh.

videogame fact o the day: Kirby, the little pink bubblegum bubble, was originally named Popopo. I think I like the name Kirby more.

^^" well, it seems I'm not the only one in a drawing slump. Maybe I'm contageous? Whoops....
I did manage to draw something decent yesterday tho. Unfortunantly, it was of one of my original characters which means I can't post it! T_T ahhh...but neways, I was really surprised with how it turned out. I was just looking around my old drawings from the past two years trying to find a rough draft I made of a comic when I came across one of my character drawings and profiles. It was a character I had made up I think some time after August. So out of boredom I decided to try and redraw him (I never did finish him back then cuz he wears a lot of armor, so thanx whtdragon for that tutorial!). I was so shocked at my finished result. I mean, I never realized how much I improved in barely even a year! My original had a really wide head and his body was very badly proportioned (and I'm not even going to go into his armor -_-" ) and then my new drawing had correct proportions (or at least he looked normal), awsome armor, flowy hair (nother issue I had), and well...let's just say overwhelmingly dramatic improvement. It's just a shame I can't post him. The only original character of mine that I've posted was Kosen back in 2004 and my zodiac characters cuz I have no story for them yet and I doubt they'll ever make it in the manga-anime world.
Yesterday I also figured out a way to sort out my movement issues. Drawing the spine. Kinda creepy yes, but it works. I was trying to draw a character sleeping against a tree, but I kept messing up the alignment of his shoulders and back. So I went to the base of the neck and drew a line where I thought would be the most likely place for his spine to be and then drew the body around it (just for the record, I draw freehand. I can't draw shapes for joints and things then put skin on top. It doesn't work for me)So yeah, my drawing slump isn't so bad.
Neways, Happy Fourth of July! Hope you guys get to see lotsa fire works! I know I will! *laughs evilly as she pulls out a whole wagon of em* jk ^^" I've never even lit a match! haha

videogame fact o the day: The name "Nintendo" roughly translates as "leave luck to heaven", "heaven blesses hard work", "in heaven's hands", or "work hard, but in the end it's in heaven's hands." Interesting, no? I never would have guessed.

meh, I have nothing to say. I'm just in one of those moods were you desperatly want to draw, but nothing comes out right. So I decided to take a break from the normal stuff I draw and attempt to draw a few monsters with whtdragon's tutorials. So far I got one two headed mutant killer plant sketched out....and that's it. I'm also trying to draw Erk. I thought it'd be interesting to draw him again. I have drawn him once before on this site, long long ago when I first started here. Man was my art terrible back then! I thought my art was amazing and looking back.....his body had no proportions, it was badly colored, and the whole thing was horrible!! Haha, so much has changed. I'm also working on the RSOM contest and my own personal manga with my characters. *grabs her protagonist's hair and strokes it* I can't wait until I can finally publish this story. Well, that is if I can get past chapter one -_-" I took the Rurouni Kenshin route and decided to start it off with a bang---a huge sword fight. I make my life so difficult. *sage's protagonist finally gets annoyed with her and wriggles free*

I'm also attempting to make a Fruits Basket comic where Tohru, Kyo, Yuki, and Ritsu play Super Smash Bros Melee. I mean, think of it. It'd be chaos! Kyo and Yuki would be doing some endless killing spree of each other and Ritsu would be flipping out cuz he accidently hit Tohru....it'd be mad. :P Which is exactly why I'm doing it! CHAOS!!!! MUYHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
Erk: Sage, after being dragged into Lyn's "Legion" and Eliwood's army of the mentally unstable I know what I mean when I say you're insane.

videogame fact o the day: Nintendo is the majority owner of the Seattle Mariners....why nintendo partially owns a baseball team is beyond me, or why'd they even WANT to own a baseball team, but oh well. I'm not them.

meh, my old background was lost. T_T But the good news is that I found this! It's ERK!! *glomps him* Erk is awsome!!! And he's MY mage! MINE!!! *cackles evily* uhhh...ehem. ^^" Well, neways, he's still Fire Emblem. One of the rare times I'll actually change my background so savor it. I feel that too many changes too often are distracting. But then again, not changing at all is bad. Bah...confusing world. Just tell me what ya think. And remember, Erk is MINE!!!
If ya haven't seen my art, plz go and check it out. I won't submit anything for a while. I don't feel up to drawing.
videogame fact o the day: depending on the conversations that take place in Fire Emblem, you can decide who married who and who is the parent of who and all that junk in the game Roy is in. For example: if Florina and Hector get an A support, Florina marries him and gives birth to Lilina. But if she doesn't get an A support she'll travel with Lyn. So you can decide what happens...wierd.

Okay, I just submitted another whole bucket of art. *rolls over and dies* XP Man that was a lot. Took me a whole two hours to resize and darken. My stupid computer refused to let me type my name on my work. So next time I gotta remember to write my name down. Whoooo......hopefully I get a few votes and comments. And koneko-chan92, go ahead and start the critisism! Haha! Just in advance tho, the hands on my Tokyo Mew Mew drawing are meant to be that way. I tried to add more detail too em, but it just ended up messing everything up and looking terrible. So yah, just wanna clear that up. Oh, and for all you Tales of Phantasia fans, I submitted another ToP art labeled Target Practice. Don't worry, you'll soon see why. It's hilarious.

I'm really happy tho! I was searching the internet and happened to come across an awsome Fire Emblem site! It had art from the upcoming game: the Fire Emblem Wii! The art definantly proves we're in for a sequal to Path of Radiance. There's no mistaking the adult thief in the art. It is definantly Sothe, no doubt about it. Which is awsome cuz I love that little thief. He looks so cute ^^ But anyways, that wasn't the only thing they had. They also had the Fire Emblem sound tracks! YESSS!!!! Fire Emblem has one of the best sound tracks! So now I have the Path of Radiance sound track on my laptop. And it had Reyson and Leanne singing a song!!! *squeals like the Fire Emblem fangirl she is* That was so awsome!!! If I ever have the time, I think I'll put a song from Path of Radiance on here. It'd be perfect for the site cuz well...*points to the Fire Emblem bg* yeah.

videogame fact o the day: this is for those of you who were just introduced into the Fire Emblem world. Eliwood is Roy's father!! DUN DUN DUUUUN!!!!! Hahaha! I'm sure you all knew that already tho. I just hope that Eliwood just doesn't end up in the next Super Smash Bros. As you already know, I think that guy is a pansy!! I leveled him up so much and even used a heaven seal on him but he still got killed fighting the most simplest of things -_-" stupid idiot.

Okay, so I have seven pictures ready for the scanner and five pictures that need to be shaded and darkened and whatnot. Nothing is colored, yet. I want to submit a black and white picture first incase my coloring destroys anything. I seriously couldn't color my way out of a paper bag I'm that bad -_-" But I guess practice makes perfect, and I'm gonna need a lot of practice.
Yesterday I was in a hula hoop contest. It was so random. I'm just walking through the park and all the sudden someone pulls out a bunch of hula hoops and says that they're having a contest. So I was like, why not? I haven't played with a hula hoop in years. Surprisingly, I did rather well. I made it to the semifinals, one of the last three. I tied for second with this boy because we were then asked to turn around in a circle. That's what got us ^^" But I still got these little bead necklaces because I participated. So it was all good. Hula hoops are still fun!
I'm kinda tempted to write an article. You know how ppl will rant and rave over name changes in dubbed anime. Well I just figured out that in a lot of cases, the names really weren't changed. Only the lettering changed so that us Americans could pronounce the names right since we aren't all fluent in Japanese and their funky rules. Of course that still doesn't excuse cases where they change Ichigo's name to Zoey O_o *shivers*
videogame fact o the day: nintendo first started out as a trading card company. Yes, they made trading cards. Don't ask me how they ended up in the gaming department, but I'm certainly glad they did.

Sage Just Never Learns
Yeah, I went on ppls sites and I almost messed up the entire computer again. ^^" You think by now I would be more cautious about my precious internet. I really gotta find my neighbor and sort out this problem.
But I came up with some pretty awsome ideas for drawings. I'm now in the process of drawing the spirit of nature. She's pretty. I'm still working on my moon spirit sketch, my male harpie is done, but I think I want to do another. I'm trying to shade a dragon, but that's not working out too well. I'm still trying to draw a wolf, but for some reason it's not coming out looking like a wolf at all. It looks more like my fantasy animals. *sigh*
Neways, recently what's been on my mind are what the ages of the Fire Emblem characters are. I battled this guy with Soren, and he made a comment that he refused to fight kids, but yet he had no problems fighting Ike (now if it were Eliwood, he woulda died, but good old Ike actually lived to fight back being the cool character he is and not like pansy Eliwood). So then I started wondering: how old IS Soren? In the first Fire Emblem game in America, ppl had this HUGE misunderstanding about ages. It was thought that this girl Nino was a 10 year old, and thus they treated her as such, when she was actually 14 (they said it somewhere in the game). Erk is 15, Lyn is 18 or something like that......I doubt I'll ever know the answer to this -_-"

videogame fact o the day: the first batch of zelda games for the original game and Link's Adventure were all done in a gold cartrige. The rest were all grey. Guess who owns a gold cartrige of Link's Adventure :P


This is when you start a new game of Fire Emblem. The graphics are nothing to sneeze at either. And Paired with such lovely art in the opening, this game is amazing.

Well, neways, I really have nothing to say today. Well, besides realizing I can't use my friend's tablet she let me borrow while she was gone. She forgot to give me the disk. The tablet beeps and works, but the computer doesn't detect it ^^"

videogame fact o the day: well actually, anime fact o the day! In Teen Titans, before they had the episode with Silkie, they had random critters from the killer moth episode appear in random places cuz the artists got bored or something( I'm not sure why) . They actually had to put in the episode with Silkie to explain why he randomly popped up all the time. So it really was never intended for them to have a pet mutant moth thing.
