Yeah, so right now I'm a lil freaked. I was reading this book called Ashes of Roses. It started out being a cute lil story, kinda like the American Girl series, but the ending O_o It scarred me. It's based off a true event where a 9-story building of immigrant workers caught on fire. 146 or so people died. Worst part is, the doors to the top floors where locked so no one could escape. It's really terrible. Especially when I looked up the book to find out if the story was true and I ended up seeing pictures of the dead bodies. I cried. Seriously, it's like the 911 event. The upper levels of the building are aflame and people are leaping for their lives and falling to the ground. It was terrible. Especially knowing that it's a true event. The book is good and I reccommend it, but be prepared for the ending. May all those people rest in peace.
