I don't know how I got this way...

"Breaking the Habit" by Linkin Park...I wonder how many times I've used this song?

Not really sure why I picked that mood...I think it's b/c I'm kinda tired...Today's theme is pictures of JRock people, requested by Ruri Illuser!

Well today didn't exactly go as I thought it would. Hikari woke me up early with his barking and I couldn't fall back asleep so I watched my Harry Potter DVD instead. Yesterday when my brother was over we watched The Animatrix since it had been on TV, and after he left I watched R.O.D. which was really great. But that's not the point...

Pierrot...

Anyway, I didn't go shopping or get my oil changed. Maybe tomorrow...instead I went with my dad to see A Series of Unfortunate Events. It was pretty good. I have only read part of the first book and I liked it except for one thing. Every page or so the author would use a semi-big word and then explain its meaning. I guess it's a minor thing, and in the movie it was done comically, but I found it a bit annoying to read. I mean, I know those books aren't exactly aimed at someone my age and the target audience probably doesn't know what those words mean, but my first thought was; whatever happened to picking things up through context?

I did like the movie for the most part though, especially Sunny! We also saw some really good previews. My favorite was for the new Charlie and the Chocolate Factory with Johnny Depp as Willy Wonka! I can't wait to see that! Afterwards we called Tim and went to eat at Panera bread company. Then my dad came and helped me hang up the curtains my mom made for my apartment a few months ago. I was glad for that b/c Hikari kinda destroyed the blinds in the front room and people could see in really well.

OK people, I am getting really sick of the word 'Pending' so check your email already! Christmas is over and you need to see your cards! Well, actually it's not over, there are 12 days of Christmas, and on the 12th day we get more presents. That's b/c my dad is Catholic and the 3 kings were supposed to have arrived on the 12th day. We really only get one small thing, but it's still cool. The people who I'm talking to probably aren't reading this anyway...

Tomorrow's picture theme was suggested by
KyatheBattousai. I still have about 6 themes stored up but if you have another idea feel free to leave it! I think this is working out pretty well, don't you all? *hugs* Have a great day!

EDIT: If you like poetry you must visit
LilMaMa89 and read "Come With Me" which she posted today! It is simply amazing!

   The world's a little brighter...

"Accidentally In Love" by Counting Crows, from the Shrek 2 soundrack!

Today's picture theme: Weiss Kreuz...

...requested by Ruri Illuser!

I didn't do much today...stayed up late watching Spirited Away and slept in. I guess I get to again tomorrow too since I found out I don't have to start babysitting yet. One of the little girls was throwing up so their mom is going to stay home. Poor thing...not sure if I mean the kid or the mom really...but I will probably get the oil changed in my car and pick up a few groceries.

I'm sure there are other characters in this show...but can they possibly be any prettier than this?

One really good thing did happen today. Tim came over and installed my new hard drive. It's so cool! I'm already downloading stuff! Naruto episodes 1-25 and Ragnarok the Animation episodes 1-13! I don't know what I'm gonna do when I'm done with them though. I don't have a burner of any kind so I need the extra storage, but I'm sure eventually it'll get full...

I guess I could talk about what we actually did on Christmas since all I did yesterday was list my presents. Basically Tim and I went to our dad's at 9am and opened presents and ate breakfast. Then we watched Napoleon Dynamite which he had gotten as a present (I love that movie!) and ate lunch. After that we went to our mom's, opened presents, played Parchesi, ate chocolate chip pancakes, and made her watch the first 4 episodes of ATHF. I don't think she liked it very much...

Tomorrow's theme was also suggested by
Ruri-chan and then it will be someone else's turn. Keep them coming please!

   Her dreams she can't find...

"Nobody's Home" by Avril Lavigne...you can see this music video on the site of kagomeinuyasha199!

Yami-chan's requested music video... All the Things She Said featuring Sailors Uranus and Neptune. Thanks to SpiffyGal for this banner!

And now at last, the most requested picture theme of all...Fullmetal Alchemist!!

The following otakus all asked for this anime because it's just so awesome!
Ruri Illuser, kagomeinuyashasit, and Color Me Evil, who asked specifically for Roy Mustang. Damn he's hot!

There might have been someone else too, but I can't seem to find them, I'm sorry if I forgot you! *bows* So...how was everyone's Christmas? Mine was pretty good, here's the present shoutout list thingy...

From "Santa" - soap, razors, candy, fruit, drawing pencils, Hello Kitty and Care Bear socks, Star Wars Episode 1 pens, and some nailpolishes.

From Dad - new rollerblades (sweet!), 2 pots, 2 shirts, a bunch of socks, 3 DVDs - Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, An American Tail, and Elf, the Shrek 2 soundtrack, and he paid to get my computer fixed a while back.

From Mom - she got me a TV a while ago, made my Chinese dress, made me a fleece blanket with little Hello Kitties wearing pink kimonos and my name embroidered on it, some cds of a local band she likes, and made me a penguin pillow.

From my aunt and grandma - a bunch of crap I didn't like, From my Uncle - a box set of all 5 Harry Potter books, one of my favorite presents, From Tim- an 80 GB harddrive w00t! Definitely one of my favorite presents! From Susan - How to Draw Manga vol.25:Bodies and Anatomy and The Art of Drawing Manga by Ben Krefta, also on the favorite presents list!

Wow, this post took forever to type! I probably left out some things I wanted to say, but it's long enough! Tomorrow's picture theme was also suggested by
Ruri-chan! Thanks again for all your ideas and Merry Christmas!

   You'd better not pout...

"Santa Claus is Coming to Town"...just a little Christmas tune for you all!

Well, I decided to take a break from the request pictures tonight and post some Christmas themed ones instead, so the anime that several people suggested will be revealed tomorrow! I will also post that AMV you asked for then Yami-chan. Sorry for the delay.

Pokemon Christmas!

I want to say a big thank you to everyone who has sent me greetings, PMs, and emails this holiday! I appreciate each and every one of you. You have made my Christmas even brighter! *hugs everyone*

Sailor Moon Christmas!

This year is turning out to be a very nontraditional Christmas for my family. It's still Christmas Eve as I'm writing this and the fact that I'm home alone on my computer is weird enough compared to what I was doing at this time the past 7 years. I'm not saying this is a bad thing...it's just really weird. But, let me not ramble, I'll just make a list instead.

Digimon Christmas!

Tradition: On Christmas Eve during the day my brother and I and all our friends go to my mom's house to make gingerbread houses.
What we did: I stayed home most of the day sending out email cards. At 4pm I went to my brother's to watch National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation and play with little Nagi.

Cardcaptor Sakura Christmas Concert!

Tradition: My brother and I go shopping together on the 21st-22nd-ish and then wrap all the presents at our mom's house on Christmas Eve after the gingerbread house party.
What we did: Went shopping at seperate times. I wrapped my presents at our dad's a few days ago and Tim did his at our mom's today.

Blue Seed Christmas!

Tradition: On Christmas Eve Tim and I go out to eat at Carrabba's (Italian restaurant) with our dad and then to midnight mass at his church.
What we did: Went to mass at 7pm at this little church outside of Gainesville to see my dad's godson's older brother and sister be in a pageant and ate at Carrabba's after.

Evangelion Christmas!

Tradition: Tim and I sleep in my room at our dad's house and sneak out in the middle of the night to put stuff in his Christmas stocking.
What we're doing: Sleeping at our own apartmets since I moved back to Gainesville and Tim moved out of our parents' houses this year. Dad's not getting a stocking b/c we're too poor to buy him extra presents.

Thanks animegirl4ever!

Tradition: Around noon or 1pm Tim and I go to our mom's and watch movies till dinner time. We eat lasagna and then "go to bed" while my mom fills our stockings and we do hers.
What we're doing: I don't know what time we're going over there since we have to wake up, take care of our respective pets, go to our dad's, etc. We're having pancakes for dinner (I picked that part!) and we didn't get any stocking stuff for our mom either.

Thanks
Tepocoora!

Tradition: We call our grandmother and aunt in Virginia to say thanks after we open all the presents.
What we're doing: Sadly, I think we have to keep this one...

Thanks
joeyw23!

A Christmas Gundam?

Sorry for the longish post everyone, I guess I had a lot to say. Don't forget about
Beyblader's 1st Anual Christmas Present Shoutout, I'll list mine in tomorrow's post!

Thanks
Hisui!

Have a great day minna-san *hugs* And last of all....our Christmas pic!

With a smile on her face...

"Tyler" by the Toadies

Today's picture theme: Ruroni Kenshin...

...requested by Taley-imouto!

Yaya! I have four days of no work, school, babysitting or anything else! Today was basically just a Katy-doing-whatever-she-wants-day since the next two will be full of family stuff and then the 26th will be all cleaning up and getting ready to go back to normal life. I watched 3 episodes each of Inuyasha and Wolf's Rain and then played online most of the day. Oh, I slept a lot too!

All I ate today was...gingerbread house! Owww...my teeth....well, the good news about that is my dad offered to pay for my brother and me to go to the dentist since neither of us have been in over a year. I am kinda fanatical about my teeth (I brush them like 4 times a day, I know, I'm weird...) but I just don't have the money to go so I'm glad he said that.

Last night I went to a basketball game with my dad since Tim was working and couldn't go. They have season tickets to the all the Gator home games, but I'm not really into it that much. I'm such a nice kid! haha, well you know what I mean, I just went to make my dad feel good. I hadn't seen any of his business partners in a while either so that was cool, I've known them since I was a pretty little kid and they're always really nice to me.

I have been getting requests to repost my AMVs but they won't fit in my intro anymore. I've got too much stuff! Here is one that
Sessho-chan asked for. It's The Noose, which is the one about Quatre. If you want to see one of them again let me know. Yami-chan, the one you mentioned is coming tomorrow.

I spent most of my time online today sending everyone Christmas cards. I apologize if I have offended you by a)not sending you a card, or b)sending you one when you do not celebrate Christmas or you just plain didn't want one. What can I say? I'm cheery. If you didn't get one chances are it's b/c your email is not on your site so if you want one, just PM me your address. Also, please do not feel obligated to send me a card. I hate when people give presents in order to get one and I would never, never do something like that. Tomorrow's picture theme was suggested by several people so I will list them all tomorrow! Happy Christmas Eve! *hugs*

EDIT: 2am - If your username starts with M or later and you did not update yesterday I haven't sent your card yet. I'm going to bed now...

   She saw the future...

"Zak and Sara" by Ben Folds

Today's picture theme: Sailor Moon...

...requested by Hisui!

Wow, it's now 6:30 AM and I just got back from
AJ-kun's house. He came home from New York on Tuesday night and so last night he spent about 4 hours telling me all about it. We also exchanged Christmas presents early since I probably won't be back over there till next week sometime. I gave him the second Galaxy Angel DVD and he gave me vol 1 and 6 of the Gravitation manga (they were the only ones they had at the store he went to in NY). I have read 1-8 already just sitting in the bookstore, but I recently decided I wanted to have them to keep so it was a good present.

Hm...I can't really think of anything else....oh, we made "gingerbread houses" tonight. They were the easy kind that you make with a box of graham crackers and a can of frosting. Selena-chan's was really small and cute, and AJ-kun got bored before his was finished so it just had icing, gummy bears, and a few marshmallows and no real shape. Mine would have looked good but it fell over so we made it a "hurricane house" since we had so many this year, and I decorated it to look like a blown over house with all the little bears outside that were now homeless. Usually my mom has a big party on Christmas Eve during the day and we make real houses with real gingerbread and lots of homemmade frosting and stuff, but she's too busy this year. My brother and I are a bit old for that now anyway...

Duo: So now will you tell me what you got me?
Katy: Um....no!
Duo: *makes puppy eyes* Please?
Katy: How about....no!
Duo: Pretty pleeaasseeee? *hugs Katy*
Katy: Oh.... ok... I got you something....that you'll find out on Saturday! Now stop asking!
Heero: Will you tell me?
Katy: *glares* NO!

Tomorrow's picture theme requested by
Taley-imouto. Have a great Christmas Eve-Eve everyone! I'll visit you when I wake up!

Longing for, what used to be...

"The Kids Aren't Alright" by The Offspring

Well, I'm still feeling kinda blah today...but no big deal. I was supposed to go to a UF basketball game with my dad and brother tonight but I ended up having to babysit instead. I don't really like basketball and I needed money anyway so it was ok. I mean, I don't really dislike it either, but it's just not my thing, you know? I kinda feel bad about it though b/c Dad and Tim really do like it (they have season tickets) and it would have been a nice thing to do with them. Oh well...

I started watching Gravitation tonight. I have the 1st DVD myself and AJ-kun lent me the other 3 which he got as early Christmas/birthday presents. I just love the music in that show so much, especially the opening theme! I don't think I'm gonna like how it ends though b/c AJ told me about it and it was kinda anticlimactic considering the manga had not been finished yet. I hate when things like that happen.

Thank you to
destinyssweetman and Faroe for inadvertantly helping me come up with a new idea for what pictures to post. They both suggested a theme and I decided to ask for more suggestions! So...if you have a favorite anime, guy, girl, mech, or anything else you'd like to see pics of just let me know! Today I'll do Oni-chan's b/c he did ask first. It's Yu-Gi-Oh, a show I used to really hate, but have become more interested in from reading the manga.

Three Duelists...

Yugi and Jonouchi, friends forever!

My favorite character, Bakura!

But I also like Jonouchi b/c he has this badass dragon!

But still, how kawaii is this? I had to get it since he has a scythe like Duo-kun!

And now...one for the girls (most of them anyway...) sorry if it is ruined for you now Oni-chan.

So tomorrow will be Faroe's suggestion and then if anyone else has one feel free to give it! Thanks!

For you I bleed myself dry...

"Yellow" by Coldplay

After watching Big Fish on Saturday I realized something; I'm always thirsty. Just like the dad in that movie I've always been thirsty...I wonder if I'm gonna turn into a giant catfish when I die...or at least have delusions about it...

Ok.........hm....what was I gonna talk about tonight...well, last night when we were at my mom's she gave me her DVD player since she never uses it and the one that AJ-kun gave me stopped working. yaya! Now I can watch the rest of the Gravitation DVDs he lent me and the Cardcaptor Sakura ones I've had forever!

Today was just a regular boring day of working. I know I said I was going to tell you all some more about the person I've been obsessing over, but....for some reason I feel like it's a dumb idea. I'd guess I've been thinking of him this way for about 4 years now. Pretty weird considering 3 of those I was with someone else, but you've all heard about that already. We fit together very well, but we're both very shy so...ahh...it's not important.

I'm getting pre-holiday let down this year. There's so many things I want to buy for my friends and family that I just don't have the money for. Basically because I don't really have any money at all. It sucks, but let's not talk about that either. Yesterday's CLAMP in Wonderland pic was Kamui, Subaru, Takeshi, Kentaro, Chun Hyang, Ashura, Miyuki, and Hikaru! Here's the very last one I have!

It will probably just be random pics for a while until I think of another theme to show off.

   I felt so symbolic yesterday...

"Mr. Jones" by Counting Crows

Yay! I actually stayed up late enough to make another post! I'm sorry but I didn't get to visit everyone today (Sunday) like I had planned on. I ended up taking a nap in the late morning and then went over to my mom's from 6-10. I got caught up in making a bead necklace (which I already broke) so I only got to those that had commented to me on the last few posts and a couple of other people. Gomen minna-san *bows* I do feel very badly about this b/c as soon as I get out of work tomorrow (Monday) I'm taking my computer to the shop to get fixed and I don't know when it will be back so I'm afraid I won't be able to visit. I will miss you all very much! If I don't have it back by the weekend I will try to make a post from AJ-kun's house or something just to let you know what the status is.

My pic of Nova is finally showing up so please go check her out and my other two new ones if you haven't already. I really appreciate all your comments on them and my AMV and the new look of my site too! Thanks!

Yesterday's CLAMP in Wonderland pic had Kamui, Takeshi, Kentaro, Akira, Nokoru, Suoh, Utako, Ashura, and Subaru. Here's today's!

Have a great week everyone!

   Staying up all night...

"Ocean Avenue" by Yellowcard...yeah, I know I used that one a while ago...so what...it's true...

Ok, this is going to be a long post, so I'm sorry in advance for making you read so much stuff. Wow, I haven't posted in quite a few days though, huh? I have missed you all so much! *hugs* I'm sorry for not visiting in so long, *bows* please forgive me everyone, it has been a crazy week/weekend. This morning I am going to redo my site since it is almost December and I know I won't have much time in the middle of the week so if you see it when it's finished let me know what you think! If you see it in the inbetween stages, I'm sorry! After that I will catch up on everyone's sites b/c I don't have anything to do till later tonight when my brother and I are going to eat a late Thanksgiving dinner at our mom's. Sadly, I will probably not be able to post again for a while, but it's for a good cause! My dad said I could take my computer in to get fixed tomorrow (it's my Christmast present) so there will be no more beeping! I don't know how long it will take though, my brother's took a little over a week, but it wouldn't even start so hopefully it won't be too long for mine.

Now...let me tell you what I've been doing since I last posted...
Wednesday - (yeah I posted but it was really for Tuesday!) So, in the morning I babysat for the 4th grader I work with and his little brother. We watched The Sword in the Stone b/c he's obsessed with it. I brought my DVD over but I also got him the video for Christmas so I think that will make him really happy! His brother and I jumped on the trampoline for a while, which was really bad for my knee as usual. We had a really good time though, they have a net around their trampoline and he can do all these flips and other gymnastics moves that were really cool. Unfortunately one time he came down right on my knee and it hurt a lot! Then in the afternoon...hm...I can't remember...oh, I think Selena-chan came over. I stayed up really late that night working on a drawing of Super Sailor Moon for Alexis. It's really good, but I can't scan it since it's really big (on poster paper). AJ-kun took a picture of it though so we can post that someday when he gets them developed.

Thursday - I woke up late (obviously) and then went over to my dad's where I finished the pic and helped him make apple pie. Then my brother and my mom came over for lots of turkey! And other foods too of course! We all played this card game called "Hand and Foot" which was ok, I don't really like to play cards but it was pretty short.

Friday - I babysat 3 kids for 13 hours straight!

Saturday - I went with Selena, AJ, their mom, aunt, and 2 grandmas to the holiday craft show at the O'Connell Center (UF's big basketball dome). We had a pretty good time, I get bored in those places, but there was this one really cool booth where this old man was blowing glass and he had all these glow in the dark pendants which I wanted, but couldn't get b/c they were $30! Afterwards we went to the mall where AJ got a ton of stuff from his relatives for Christmas and his b-day. The rest of the night the three of us just watched Nick at Night and drew pictures of stuff. It was kind of hard though b/c I gashed my finger on Hikari's harness the night before, but I still had fun.

Other stuff - I have a new AMV for you all today. It was the first Gundam Wing one I ever made and it's mainly from episodes 24 and 25 when Quatre builds the Wing Zero and goes kinda crazy. I think it's pretty good except for the bit in the middle where it gets choppy, I should have made that part shorter, but oh well. It's to The Noose by A Perfect Circle, one of my most favorite bands! It's somewhat dark, but I like it that way. I also have three new fanarts! One is of Shigure from Fruits Basket, he's so hot! Well...not in my pic...it got kinda messed up due to some new markers I was trying out, but sometimes that happens. The other two are original characters that I made up, a brother and sister named Masashi and Nova I put the ages I want them to be on the pics, but if you could please leave a comment and tell me how old you think they look I'd really appreciate it! I need to know how I'm doing with that b/c I can't be sure if they're quite right. Also, AJ has a new pic of Kyo from Fruits Basket that he drew a long time ago so please check it out! He also posted a pic of us from Halloween a couple days ago if you're interested in seeing our costumes.

The last CLAMP in Wonderland pic was Kamui, Subaru, Ashura, Hikaru, Chun Hyang, and Miyuki with a tree of Mokonas! Here's today's!

If you're still reading at this point, thank you so much! *hugs* Have some chocolate pie! My mommy always makes it for Thanksgiving! I know a lot of people asked me stuff in the comments the past few posts and I will answer you today, I promise, and I'll get back to those who signed my guestbook as well. Have a great Sunday!
