Thanks for watching as I fall...

"My Happy Ending" by Avril Lavigne

Well, what do you think of my new look minna? I never seem to go with a particular "theme" but, I don't guess it matters...anyway, please don't be angry with me but I didn't get to write the next chapter of my story yet again. I know, I'm such a slacker! I only got home at 4am though! I was hanging out with AJ-kun and Selena-chan all night, we had a good time eating chili, watching old DBGT tapes and talking about ghosts.

Tomorrow and Monday we are supposed to have yet another hurricane. I hope I didn't jinx us by telling them to bring the wrath in that poem I wrote...oh well, too late now! We will probably have no school Monday though so that will give me time to write lots. Also, time to pack b/c I have to be out of here by Friday morning. I still don't know where I'm going, but I guess it will work out in the next couple of days. I don't know how much longer Grace will leave her computer here though so I may not be online since my connection is dependant on her cable modem (I just run off a wireless router). Sorry in advance if I don't see you for a while! *hugs everyone* Thanks so much for all your comments yesterday, they really made me feel loved!
Today's CLAMP manga is Angelic Layer! Here's a pic of all the angels!

And one of Misaki and her angel Hikaru. I love this manga b/c the heroine names her angel after the heroine of another CLAMP manga!

I'm so glad you guys have been enjoying these!

Ran my whole life in the ground...

"My Only One" by Yellow Card

...not gonna explain that one...

Sorry, no chapter tonight folks *evil smirk* I want to make you sweat! haha, just kidding, that's not the real reason, well not the only reason anyway. I have to wake up early tomorrow (Sat) to babysit from 8-6 so I can't stay up late writing and I only just got home (12:10am) Yuck! Today was ok, I guess... not really in the mood to talk about it right now...still listening to LP with Wing Zero watching over me.

I'll have to visit sites tomorrow night and write the next chapter then. I'll probably redo my site this weekend too, I was waiting till October, but since I'll be moving and may not have access during the beginning of the month I'll just do it now. T-Kai and I went swimming again, I have water in my ears and it hurts. He told me he was named after a pirate! Isn't that cool?

Here's a classic...

Cardcaptor Sakura!

Music's got me feelin' the need...

"One More Time" by Daft Punk

Aaahhhh! For some reason every time I go to type the title and artist I end up writing 'bye' instead of 'by'. It's getting annoying! AJ-kun burned a cd for me today. He ripped a bunch of songs off different anime soundtracks for me so I can listen to "Cruel Angel's Thesis" (Evangelion) "Just Communication" (Gundam Wing) and the Sailor Stars Opening (whatever it's called...) all in a row! I think something may be wrong with my Windows Media Player though b/c lately my computer has been making this really weird noise and it only happens when I'm listening to music...

So since my favorite manga creators, CLAMP, just celebrated their 15th birthday/anniversary or whatever I shall now be posting pics of all their great stories!

Here's one to get you started from xxxHolic, but this isn't the day for that series, just a little CLAMP tidbit! In case you didn't know (which I hope you did!) the wonderful ladies who make up CLAMP are Satsuki Igarashi, Nanase Ohkawa, Mokona Apapa and Mick Nekoi.

I will never slip or stumble...

"Soldier" by Eminem

Don't know why I'm in the mood for that this evening. The boys are over again playing poker and eating all my Sun Chips! Gah, well Tim said he would buy me more. The headache is all better now, thank goodness, but I'm feeling a bit stressed. I've been having a little writer's block the past few nights, it's hard to write when things are out of order. Hope you can still enjoy ch. 31!

Grace got out of the hospital today and she says she just has bronchitis. Just bronchitis. She can barely even talk! Christine is making her stay at the appartment though and they're talking about having an estate sale soon b/c they don't want to keep any of the furniture. Supposedly it has mold in it now and that will be bad for her lungs. I don't know...

I started on two new pics today. I've never worked on more than one at the same time before but Alexis asked me to draw her this one of Super Sailor Moon and it's really hard so when I got frustrated with it I just stopped and started drawing Shigure instead, because he's soooo sexy! See!

Well, here's some more Crescent Moon pics!

I have a good idea for what kind of pics I'm going to post now, but you'll have to wait till tomorrow for me to start! I know, I know, you can't stand the suspense!

I never let on, that I was on a sinking ship...

“Zero” by The Smashing Pumpkins

Well, our power is back on, and our cable is back off. Crap. I feel like such a bad friend! I have all this free time and I can’t go to anyone’s sites. I’m sorry everyone! *hugs* We still have a few more days before the next hurricane gets here so hopefully it will come back on before then. I’m just going to upload this from my mom’s at midnight tonight (it’s 8:00 now). Part 27 of my story is posted, thanks to all who have been reading. I decided to go the more obvious way with who Archangel loved, but there was someone else I was considering, a bit more shocking that way.

Today I just cleaned my house for most of the day. It was really bad having been out of power for 7 days. We had to leave the windows open and it had started to smell. The refrigerator also needed emptying, lots of smelly stuff in there! Tim finally woke up at 1:30 and came over with Kill Bill vol.2. We haven’t watched it yet, but I’m sure we will by the time you read this. It’s a great movie (I know even though I haven’t seen it!). I drew a picture of Charmander, Charmeleon, and Charizard for Christopher but I can’t scan it b/c it’s waaay too big.
Today’s Furuba cuties (two!) are Hiro and Kisa!

So kawaii!

Alright don't worry, even if it gets heavy...

"Float On" by Modest Mouse

Well, I'm officially ~staying~ at my mom's now. If you've noticed we're about to have another hurricane this weekend and I can't take my house anymore. There's still no power and it's starting to smell. Grace has gone to stay at one of the appartments in the fancy complex her son Larry owns. Unfortunately I had to leave little Hikari and the cats at my house alone. *sniff* I go see them 3 times a day but I know they're lonely! If I'm lucky my dad will realize they can't stay alone during the next storm and let me come to his house with them. Mom wants nothing to do with them of course.

Well, as you can see, I couldn't live without you guys another day! *hugs everyone* We got cable back at our house, Grace has been watching TV using the generator but I haven't used my computer. I broke down and decided to start back on my story from here anyway though! I've got 3 posts tonight, wow!

Ah, haha, anyway, the story is the last one of today's posts if you're looking for it. Chapter 25 is posted and I should be back on a regular writing schedule provided my mom doesn't lose power. She never did in the last storm though so I think it will be ok. They have underground lines in this neighborhood. Between this post and the story is just a silly little poem I wrote about the hurricanes, nothing special. The three names in the second stanza are the next ones on the hurricane name list for this year in case you're wondering...

There has been a lot of damage down here, but thankfully everyone I know is safe. AJ-kun (PockyStix) was out of power for one day but his AOL account is acting up so that's why he hasn't been online. Sadly that means no more of my artworks can be submitted till they get high speed internet but that should be soon! Tim (li'l bro) definitely has it the worst. All of his furniture is ruined and his bookcase collapsed into the water ruining all his comics, graphic novels and other books. He's no otaku, but he's a huge marvel fan.

Anyway, this has gotten a bit too long, thanks to everyone who was worried about us down here, hopefully we'll make it through the next one ok too! *hugs* I will try to get to some sites tonight, but it may have to wait till tomorrow afternoon.

Today's Furuba cutie is our dear heroine, Tohru Honda!

Next year if I get to go to the con in Orlando with AJ-kun I'm going as her and he's going as Kyo again!

Ode to Florida - by me!

Charlie chewed and spit us out,
Frances left us flayed.
Ivan's bearing down on us,
But we are not afraid.

Oh Jeanne, Karl, and Lisa too,
Come show us all your wrath.
We know that our peninsula,
Lies well within your path.

The wind and rain come beating down,
But we still go out and play.
For the children of the sunshine state,
Can face any hurricane!

   Gainesville's anti-hurricane forcefield was malfunctioning...

...at least that's what the DJ said... no that's not a song lyric! They really said that on the radio though and it must be true! Haha, we need to get it fixed now! We've never had a hurricane really hit here, at least not ~exactly~ here for quite a few years. There is soooo much damage! But, anyway, I'm ok and off school for a few days too! YAYA!!

Let me start at the beginning... Friday we brought in everybody's furniture and plants thinking we'd be fine like usual. Saturday it rained a lot, I stayed online most of the day and night, thinking we'd be fine like usual. Sunday...the power went out at 2pm and it's still not back on! Luckily Grace has a generator so we can run some stuff. We even hooked up the TV and computer but at 10pm the cable went out! Waaah! Monday I went to my dad's for dinner and to try and use his computer and while we were eating dinner ~his~ power went out! A tree fell on Tim's house, but it didn't get through the roof thank goodness! Tuesday the roads were a little safer and I went to Christine's where Christopher and I watched about 5 hours worth of Case Closed while Alexis watched Sailor Moon. I'll make anime fans of them yet! Tim's house flooded, 6 inches of water in the house and about 3 feet on the back porch where his drum set and ping pong table were.

Right now we're both at our mom's waiting for her to quit talking to her boyfriend and make us dinner! Two trees fell in mine and Grace's yard, one in the back that's leaning on some power lines and another in the front which actually fell from our yard across the road! It came up by the roots! That one's been cleared but the other one hasn't and I think that may be why the cable's out... There were 4 deaths in Alachua county, but no one I know. I'm sure it's much worse down in south Florida though so I'm just glad I don't live there!

Since the last time I posted I've done so much stuff! Before the power went out I made most of a quiz that I'm hopefully going to submit soon, watched all of the Rayearth OAV (about 2 1/2 hrs) and the first volume of Angelic Layer (4 episodes). Then after it went out I read 2 volumes of Di Gi Charat, and 2 of Tokyo Babylon. Then I completely finished and colored the first picture to go with my story. Unfortunately my mom's stupid scanner is still broken but hopefully I'll be able to use AJ's on Friday! I also submitted my Yugi pic on here and started on one of Anzu for Nick. Since we have no school tomorrow I'm going to babysit him and his brother Matthew in the morning.

Ok, well sorry for the super long post, and that I can't get to anyone's sites today. There won't be any new chapters of my story until I get the power and cable back on at my house though. Sorry about that too, but it does give me a chance to figure some things out b/c the next part might not be as straightforward as you think...

Here's a pic of the boys looking at what Gainesville looks like now!

I'll get back to the Furuba cuties when I get my own computer running again! *hugs everyone* Talk to you soon I hope!

The morning was gray, but I had the motivation...

“Storm Front” by Billy Joel

Well, the storm is coming. Actually I guess it’s kind of already here, but just the outer bands. It’s funny, after spending most of my life here I can tell just by looking at the sky when we’re going to get a storm like this. Last time (Charley) the sky was normal, but not today, it’s all eerie and funny colored. Oh, I’m talking about hurricane Frances if you didn’t know…anyway, I’m sure we’ll be fine here in north central Florida, because like I said before, we always are, but we might lose power for a couple days if any trees fall down so I ~might~ not be posting, we’ll see….

Haha, Grace was soooo funny today talking to her cat! I don’t know if I mentioned but she had to give away Teeger (the orange one with the huge creepy eyes) to the vet school b/c there was something wrong with him that she couldn’t afford to fix. They’re going to take good care of him there so that’s good, but anyway she also has an outside cat named Oreo that always sits in the kitchen window and earlier today she got off the phone with somebody and went over to it and said, “Where have you been? Do you have another house that feeds you?” Well, that part’s not so weird, but then she leaned closer to the window and said, “Oh, oh….I see…” I had to try so hard not to burst out laughing! I mean, I talk to my animals all the time but to see her do it so seriously, it was just hilarious!

Well, today I’m done with the boys of Furuba (I’m not posting Akito b/c I don’t like him!) and it’s time to move on to the girls, but since it’s Duo’s day for a pic I’ll just give you one of all of them together…with Ayame for some reason…

Aww, look at that kawaii little smile!

and here’s one of you too, Heero-kun!

so intense!
