9 weeks left!

Yup, that's what I kept telling myself all day today. I am soooo ready for it to be summer. Spring Break is the most unfair tease of a vacation ever!

Last night I remembered something else, all this talk about loving Duo has left me neglecting my first and real favorite Gundam pilot.

Aww...look he's sad I neglected him! Gomen Quat-chan! I will always love you the most! Why? you ask, why do I like the wimpy little blond rich boy? Well, I'll tell you. While Duo is me, Quatre is who I wish I could be. Duo's strength comes from pushing people away so he doesn't hurt them or get hurt by them. Quatre's strength comes from bringing people together. Duo's happiness is an obvious act. Quatre's is how he actually feels. Ok, now I'm sounding like I'm bashing Duo *gulp* I'm not I swear!

Anyway, Quatre is the only pilot to master the zero system other than Heero even if it takes him a while and Heero forcing him to do it. And then, after becoming confident that he can lead the others in a battle he realizes he doesn't even need to system to know what's going on! That's real strength if you ask me.

Well, anyway, I will quit rambling. There is still work to be done.

I hate Sundays! All I want to do is hang around like I did on Saturday, and mostly I do, but there's always this nagging feeling in the back of my mind. There's always that little voice saying, "It's Sunday! Tomorrow's Monday! Pay your bills! Make your lesson plans! Grade those papers! Clean the kitchen!"

Anyway, I have been getting fed up trying to download stuff. I've always been a Kaza-Lite enthusiast due to its lack of spyware but lately it just doesn't have anything I want fast enough. If anybody uses something else good let me know, K? I have a really good concept in mind for a G-Wing AMV but it's taking forever to get the episodes I need (specifically 24 & 25 if anybody wants to email them to me I will love you forever!) I have the whole series on DVD but no DVD rom drive anymore, thanks to Chris, so I can't rip them off to the hard drive!

Hikari has been getting more playful, but also more well behaved. I'm so proud of him! The cats are teaching him to bathe himself just like they did when Artax (the great dane) was a puppy. It's so funny to see them do that!

Well, since my Duo pic will probably be shuffled to the archives today, here's another, just b/c I like to look at him when I get online!

*grumble, grumble* "I'm awake, I swear!" I just can't figure out why... I guess 1pm isn't that early for a Saturday. Anyway, does anybody else around here watch Witch Hunter Robin as religiously as I do? If you do...what did you think about this week? If you don't... as great as it is I wouldn't recommend starting until it hits reruns, it would be way too confusing!

Hikari did the weirdest thing last night. Now that he's been here a week he's gotten comfortable with me, the house, and the other animals so I don't worry about where he is too much of the time. I was sitting on the couch watching a Simpsons rerun when I heard this really weird noise coming from the kitchen so I ran in there thinking he was probably getting into the cat food or something. I found him with both front feet submerged in his water bowl splashing furiosuly one after the other. I just watched him for a minute before I realized he was trying to grab a piece of dog food that had fallen in the bowl. It was sooo funny!! I got him fresh water & he drank it but I had a hard time keeping his little wet paws off me for a while. Awww...

   I am the bomb!

Woohoo! I fixed the computer all by myself! I got sick of waiting for Chris to get off work so I just took it apart and put it back together following the right cords to the right place & jamming stuff back in that had come loose from the last time he messed w/it all, and I fixed it! Oh yeah!

   Friday!

Well, hey people! Long time no speak, eh? I am soo internet deprived!! It quit working @ my house earlier this week so I am typing this real quick before I leave work for a lovely weekend of, um, yeah whatever it is I do...

Thanks to everybody who has been visiting & helping me w/my work problems, Duo has kept me strong this week & things are looking up at least in my little world. I'm going to try to post a different pic of him down here since I haven't been able to fix whatever is wrong w/the other one.

Well, I got paid today which only means one thing...amazon.com!! I have to get a graphic novel for each of my kids for their end of the year present but hopefully there will be enough left over to get myself some anime or manga. Oh who am I kidding? I'll get some even if there isn't enough!

I think I'm going out tonight too, yay! (With my friend Marina, she's so cool!) If not though I can always watch this weeks eps of Witch Hunter Robin! Well, I guess I should go since it's 3:30 & quittin' time for us. Hopefully my ex will come fix the computer today (weird, I know) or if I'm lucky he already did! Bye!

Well, before I start on the story of today let me just say that Hikari is here & he is soooo cute! He is the sleepiest puppy ever! He did pee in my car on the way home but I forgive him, after all it was his first car ride.

I'm getting my puppy early!! And, yup that's his name, Hikari. After Hikaru's dog in MKR. The girl I am getting him from called yesterday & said her mom was going crazy w/10 puppies & could I please take him off their hands as soon as possible even if I can't pay them till I get my check Friday. So I'm getting him tomorrow after school! Did I mention he's a yellow lab? Just about the color of that subject title up there^

Well, the fam is gone now & I have to say I"m a little glad. It's weird to have houseguests when you're used to being alone all the time. Sorry if this is short but I am relishing the thought of watching four episodes of Witch Hunter Robin in a row. Having people around has really cut into my normal habits. I got my Animerica Extra 2 days ago and still haven't even picked it up!

Ok well that's kind of misleading. I am getting a new puppy next week but that's not what I'm thinking about right now. My dad took us to the zoo yesterday and they had the most kawaii animals there. I love animals! The best one was the snow leopard. I totally want one even though they really should be left in their real home in the himalyan mountains, not in cages in places like Texas. They also had this thing called a leopard cat that was smaller than a house cat. I love zoos but it was a weird trip for some reason. I was just feeling sad for all the animals instead of my usual happines at seeing them. I hate being grown up...it makes me think the most depressing things.
Oh well, today we went to the riverwalk & I got to go to my most favorite store ever, Sanrio Surprise! That was good, the mexican food was bad but it always makes me sick. I still love it though. Tomorrow we are going to some caves, might be interesting might not. We might not even make it there if my brother gets my dad hooked on watching the basketball tournament. Anyway, enough for tonight. Bye!
