   Stuff I been watchin'

First: Gundam Seed - was pretty interesting, but like most Americans I tend to measure every Gundam series against the first one we got, Gundam Wing. Predictably there was a blond guy in a metal mask...oh well. I think it'll take a few episodes for me to decide if I like the characters or not & the plot is still unclear, but intriguing. The only series I ever found that came close to measuring up to Wing as far as powerful story and characters was th 08th MS Team.

Azumanga Daioh - was weird, but kinda boring. Chiyo-chan was about the most annoying character ever and the voice dubbing was pretty bad. Don't think I'll be buying that one anytime soon.

Comic Party - was weirder, but better. It made me feel nostalgic even though I've never been to Japan or read an actual doujinshi. There was this green haired girl who kept calling this other girl a panda and saying she belonged in a zoo! Then there was this other guy who kept calling everyone 'comrade'. Yeah, it was pretty funny.

Also finished my Shonen Jump (finally) and read my Animerica Extra. Yeah, I guess it was a pretty good day yesterday. After I get some work done I'm thinking about going to Barnes & Nobles to get vol.2 of Fruits Basket & Angel Sanctuary. They were both just so great!
