Sakura-Con
I had a blast yesterday at Sakura-Con!
I went with two of my friends, Ayla and Sarah, and we had a blast. Ayla went as Ed, Sarah as Yuzuki, and I as a rabid fangirl. I had made a hat that said, Beware! Rabid Fangirl!, with names of 5 guys : Kurama, Darien (my #1 favorite), Zelgadis, Yue, and Yami. Someone even asked to take a picture of it.
There was so much great stuff to buy. Sadly I couldn't get alot of chobits things, especially this great model of Chi and Freya. Speaking of Chi and Freya, two girls had dressed up like them, and they were fanstastic. I couldn't find anything with Genkai, either.
We also took a look at the art gallery. There were some really great artists, and I couldn't buy anything :C
This was our first con, and we're already planning for next year, and hopefully, we'll have more people with us.

I'm still alive
Gosh, I haven't updated in ages. I've been sooo stressed out with school and such. I feel completely burned out.
Well, I saw my first episode of Shaman King about 2 weeks ago, and loved it. My sister was on the computer when I was watching it and I think she was freaked out by the opening theme song.
I also saw Tenchi Forever (dubbed). My mom and dad were down stairs so they saw it too. My dad looked up stuff about it, and found a site where it called it a space drama, or someting like that, and mom said it had nice music (which it does). I always wanted to watch the Tenchi Muyo movies. Sadly, I missed the first two, but I will see Tenchi in Love since International channel is playing it again (with subtitles). I also got to see the ending of Ah! My Goddess! The Movei; I really wanted to see it, but from what I saw, it looks really good.
School is so stressful. IB testing is coming up (thank god its only for the certificate) and WASL (All I can think of is TAAS/TAKS). IB Group IV is over (Hallelujah!). But now I'm stressed over Speech. Our current assigment now is to write an informative speech, with attention device, commentary, and visual aid. I still have no idea what I'm doing, plus the rough draft is due Monday! I'm doing jazz, since the topic has to pertain to one of our classes. I'll probably do something with jazz and where you here it (movies, commercials). I hear jazz songs that I've learned in choir on commercials, and I can use Cowboy Bebop's opening theme song as examples.
I'm really mad that Yoanna won America's Next Top Model. Mercedes should have won. She was better. Mercedes blew Yoanna away when the did the modeling show. Thinking about gets me riled up.
We watched something on E! on Saturday, and got to see another preview thing for Harry Potter. I was so happy! My mom and dad teased about changing the channel and I almost went hysterical. I can't wait to see that movie. The good movies are being played during the summer. Harry Potter, Van Helsing, Riddick, Around the world in 80 days, Alien vs. Predator...

News
I was searching on the web, and I found this :
The Cartoon Network has announced a pair of major programming revisions scheduled to go into effect on April 17th. The present weekday afternoon Toonami programing will be replaced with a "Miguzi Block" that will air Teen Titans, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Totally Spies, and Code LYOKO. The displaced Toonami block will air on Saturdays from 7 to midnight and target teen and young adult audiences with series including Gundam Seed, Rave Master, Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball GT, Yu Yu Hakusho, Transformers: Energon, Rurouni Kenshin, Justice League, and Megas XLR.
(Found on http://www.animenation.net/news/index.php)
I can't believe this! This is really bad in my opinion; what will I watch on weekdays (besides Adult Swim, which I can't really watch, but I record all the anime shows; I absolutely love Witch Hunter Robin)? YYH better not show episode one again; they'll never show the end the Dark Tournament at that rate.
What do you guys think?

Hi
I know i haven't posted in a while: I blame stress. A majority is coming from school. I haven't been able to relax and it results in me doing little.
I'm hoping to relax this week; it's mid-winter break so I have the week off. I can stay up late and watch anime on adult swim (sadly, I also have homework). Is anyone going to watch Witch Hunter Robin? I'm surprised; they are actually starting a new show.
Is anyone excited about seeing movies this year? I am. I can't wait for the movie Van Helsing, starring Hugh Jackman as Van Helsing. It looks sssoooo good and it's my kind of movie :P

Superbowl
So... who watched it? This was the first time that I actually watched the game. I had no idea what was going on, but that was okay. I cheered for the Panthers. They lost... and they were so close to winning. You should have seen me yelling and screaming. It was really funny.
The main reason why I watched it was to see the commercials. Really, isn't that the whole point, the comercials ^^

Life Update
1. I'm 16!
2. I'm going to my stupid IB group meeting tommorrow. Word to the wise: NEVER TAKE AN IB COURSE!
3. I got a II for my solo at the music festival (I did better than that I believe, so that's what matters)
4. *sniffle* My mom called Hiei a gay-blade! Whhhhaaaaa! (They let me turn on YYH for a few minutes and watched a little, because it was dinner, then turned it off, so I had to run downstairs) And Alyssa called Kurama a gay-blade too! Whhhaaaa! They are not gay!!!!!! My dad calls my anime shows soap operas. They aren't soap operas.

Singing
I got up at 6:30 today to go sing my solo at this festival thingie. Sadly, I got a II. My teacher, another choir member and her mother (who was my accompianist) that I deserved a I or I-. But I thought I did great, so that is what matters. Next year, I'll blow everyone away!

Exams start this week. So much stress. But at least I have a three day weekend afterwards.
At the Children's Musuem, they have a temporary exhibit opening on Saturday called Jump to Japan; it's going to be about anime and manga, and they are going to show 4 Miyazaki films: Totoro, Kiki's, Mononoke, and Spirited Away. I have to see all of them; I haven't seen Totoro or Kiki's, and I just absolutely love Princess Mononoke.
5 days left till my B-Day!
Am I done ranting.... yes.
