The Last Samurai

Everyone, go see The Last Samurai. That movie has got to be one of my favorites now. It's really great. It has some funny moments and the fighting scenes are good. I cried; I couldn't help it, some parts were really sad. But it was really good; DO NOT LISTEN TO THE REVIEWERS!!! I hope everyone had a good New Year's. I was kinda of sad. If you think about it, its a new year; a anohter year has past, your older... I don't know what is it that makes me sad. 2 days left until I got to school. I don't wanna go on Monday!! T_T

Snow!

AAAHHH! I got SNOW! It had begun to snow last night; none of us had believed the weatherman. I mean come on, who does believe in them? Anyway, when it started, my mom, joking, said we should wake up my little sister, H. I got up and started to go into her room, but she stopped me. *sigh* I don't get to have any fun. I watch Airport last night. I kept laughing because I heard the guy speaking on the speakers, and I could only think of Airplane. Well, at least I got snow for New Years. I never get snow for Christmas; it's always after Christmas; that happened in TX, too.

Plain Day

I went shopping today, and people are just crazy, doing all their sale shopping or exchanging; it's really annoying. I think my mom was getting real annoyed towards the end. But the good news, I got a great pair of boots! It took me forever to decide either suede style with a high heel or plain leather with low heel. I went with leather, because it would be easier to walk around school. Tommorrow, my sisters and their friends go ice skating; I have to go along. So I'm get to do homwork. I hate ice skating; I like to skate on roller blades, its much more fun i think. Break is going by to fast. I only have six days left! But I have a week in February, so its not too bad... I think...

Question #1: What type of demon is Kuronue in YYH?

Request: I need a last name made up for Genkai and her father. Here is the first chapter for my new YYH story dealing with this question and request.

Darling Chii: Hello and welcome to my second YYH fic, starring my all time favorite YYH character (and my sensei), Genkai.

Genkai: Don’t start causing trouble.

DC (wide innocent eyes): Who me?

Genkai: Evidently you don’t remember that time you ate 75 pixie sticks in one setting during choir retreat.

DC: Ah the good old days.

Genkai: *sigh*

DC: This story may seem rather confusing (Genkai: It is), so I’ll explain a little bit about it in each chapter. I’m kinda nervous about it, though. It’s rather dark, compared to my other stories. It’s rated for violence (I think), maybe some language (I think), and future chapters (if I get there). No real sexual situations, I think.

Genkai: Get on with it!

DC: Fine. As noted in all fics, I don’t own nothing; not YYH or any of its characters. I own the story line. That’s it. So people who like to sue, go sue other people who like to sue. It’s probably legal to sue someone who’s trying to sue you. Like a person who can sue because coffee’s hot (really stupid person), and I’m rambling…

Genkai: I’ll start the start the story, my god. We begin somewhere in the Spirit World. This takes place after the Dark Tournament, like a year or so.

DC *whispers*: But I have some surprises, haha.

Genkai: what did you say?

DC: Nothing!

Genkai *sighs again*: Enjoy the story.

Thump, thump.

Thump, Thump.

Her heart was beating faster every second. She had to get there in time. She had to save him.

Thump, Thump.

“Argh!” shouted a demon, coming at her. “Don’t get in my way!” She growled, punching him in the face, then kneeing him. She ran faster. “Please be safe… father.” She thought.

Thump, THUMP!

THUMP, THUMP!

She finally got to the clearing. Bodies littered the ground. A kitsune and a bat demon were fighting demons that seemed to come up from the very ground.

The young woman ignored everything but the Topless Tower. She still had time. Her hopes were lifted. A small smile graced her lips, then slipped away. A young man appeared, holding a older male, and a head in another hand.

“Hello there, dear sister,” he said, sneering. “I am not your sister,” the young woman said, her amber eyes holding rage and hatred, her soft pink hair blowing gently in the wind. “All right, step-sister.” The younger man said. “Oh, and mother sends her condolences.” He threw the head; a woman’s head; the head of his mother, her step mother.

She balled her hands into fists. “How could you, you… monster!?!” “Well, she stood in my way. And now it’s your father’s turn.” He replied, grinning evilly.

“Noooooo!” She screamed, but it was too late. The man drew a knife and stuck it in the back of the woman’s father, then threw him off the tower.

She ran and caught him. Taking the knife out, she rolled him over. He was dying; the blade had been covered in poison. The man moved. “Don’t,” she said, silent tears falling from her eyes, “don’t move.”

The man chuckled softly, his dark blue eyes opening. “My grace, my angel, my light,” he said, his hand touching her face, “you must leave…” “No!” “… leave and fulfill your destiny. You must – protect – the crystals…” he coughed, spurting blood.

“Don’t talk. You must rest. You have to get help.” The girl cried. “My time has come.” The man interrupted. “But remember that I’m with you always.” And with that, he closed his eyes for the last time. King Phelios ____________ was dead.

“No. Don’t leave me. No!” the girl wept openly.

“We must leave,” the kitsune said, coming to stand beside the girl, tail swishing, her golden eyes darting. “I agree with Botan, we must leave,” the bat demon said, coming over.

“Leave me be.” The girl mumbled. “Don’t make me carry you.” The male demon said. The girl’s head shot up and glared. She stood up and glanced at her father’s body. She turned away and waved her hand; a portal appeared.

The wo demons went through first. The girl paused. “Come on Genkai!” “Kuronue, give her a break!” The girl went through the portal.

Genkai ______________, daughter of King Phelios and Queen Kaleen, last of the immortal psychics, was now orphaned.

“I swear, upon my father’s grave, I will kill all three of you,” whispered Genkai, closing the portal, leaving behind the body wasted land.

DC (crying): What hardships I’m putting you through.

Genkai: I think you’ve lost it.

DC *cheery disposition returning*: Not quite yet.

Genkai: So that my student here will stay busy and happy, please review.

DC: And if you have a title idea, tell me, ‘kay?

DC and Genkai: Ja ne!

Help! I need a duel written for my YGO fic, Destiny Foretold It. Here's the first chapter:

Destiny Foretold It

Chapter 1

She stepped off the plane, looking for her grandfather's friend, who she would be staying with for the summer. If she recalled, he had a two grandsons that looked alike, but one was older. Both were master duelists. She sighed. The reason she accepted the invitation to Seto Kaiba's new tournament still eluded her.

She was a pretty girl, with long gold hair that shone nicely in the sun. Her crystal blue eyes held a feeling of power and wisdom. She was tall, thin, with the right curves. She had very light skin, which was surprising for all the time she spent in Egypt.

"Lorene!"

The 16-year-old turned around. She knew she wasn't hard to spot. Black leather pants, black high-heeled boots, and a black tank top that hung comfortably on her showed off her figure. A gold choker and a gold armband were her only jewelry.

She saw a grey spikey haired man and two boys who looked the same at first glance but she saw that the taller, older one had narrower eyes and a more - dark - presence.

Lorene smiled, "Hello Mr. Motou."

"Yugi, Yami, this is Lorene Friedman." Grandpa said, smiling at Lorene "And call me Grandpa."

"Hi!" Yugi said in his always chipper attitude, shaking Lorene's hand. Yami also shook her hand and smiled.

"Do you have anymore bags?" Grandpa noticed Lorene's small duffel bag.

"No, I plan on going shopping."

"Tea and Mai will love that." Yugi said, as the group moved towards the exit. They were passing the arcade on the way to the game shop when they heard, "Yugi! Yami! Grandpa!" They turned and saw Tea, Tristan, Joey, Mai and Serenity.

"Hey guys!" Yugi said. "So," Joey said, looking Lorene over, "who's the babe?" "Joey!" Mai and Tea slapped him. Lorene smiled. "This is Lorene Friedman. She'll be a competitor in the tournament." Grandpa said, introducing Lorene.

"That's great! You can hang out with us!" Tea said. They all looked at Grandpa. He laughed. Taking Lorene's bag he said, "Be back by dinner." "Thanks Grandpa!"

"So Lorene," Serenity started to talk, "where do you come from?" "America. My parents died when I was young, so I lived with foster parents till I was 14. Then I made some friends." "Who?" Joey asked. "Ah, confidential." Lorene said, smirking.

"So, how good a duelist are you?" asked Yami. "I'm undefeated," came the casual reply. "Really?" he said. The group stopped. Lorene and Yami stood facing each other. "Do you want me to prove it?" Lorene asked a glint in her eye. Yami grinned, "I appreciate proof."

"Well then Yami Motou," she said, "I challenge you to a duel!"

   Christmas Break
Hey people! how ya doing?

I'm out of school and have two weeks off. that seems really short. I think in TX I got 3. at least I have two weeks.

Does anybody have any fun traditions? Like my family; we always eat Chinese food on Christmas Eve (too bad Washington does't have Egg Roll Express. I miss that place T_T) then, after me and my sisters open one of our gifts, we watch A Wish For Wings That Work. I love that movie.
