Dragon Poem

Where on swift wings the dragon flies,
Through distant and uncharted skies,
O'er mountain crags and forests old,
To guard his hoard of hidden gold,
I sought him out and called his name.
He answered with a jet of flame:
"If you be friend, enter my lair.
If you be foe, then do not dare!"
