my views on humanity, the government, and society: a rant by Sakabato Samurai
human nature kinda sucks. we're self-destructive, selfish, mean, greedy, jealous, weak, petty and just plain stupid sometimes!! People lie, cheat, steal, and worse! really what gets me is that ppl go on and on about the war and dont notice all the lives needlessly lost in our own back yard! theres a verse in the bible that says something like "dont pull the speck out of your brother's eye when you have a plank in your own!" they complain about the global warming and landfills and stuff, yet do nothing about it! but of course there are some who do, enviromentalists, animal rights activists, ect. but sometimes a few get out of hand and just make ridiculous demands and make the entire set of them look like whackos! its always one step forward, and 2 steps back! all we are really getting done is wasting time and resources while just arguing about whatever petty things we do. "WE CANT GO STOP THE CIVIL WAR/ GENOCIDE IN AFRICA TILL WE DECIDE WHAT COLOR TRO PAINT THE HUMVES!!!!" politics everywhere are becoming infuriating!! tehn again, they have been for a while! i still think we're leading to our own destruction. and the ppl who can help are for the most part jsut screwing around with stem cells and genetics and things liek taht, instead of focusing on other things that are really obviously much more important! im not sure if i went into politics, whether i'd make a difference, become like the rest of em, or just be seen as a crazy radical! you know, i bet if corporations could stop looking at jsut profits, we could save so many resources! there are plenty of countries that get by fine while using half the resources we do here! but noooo...we have to be the best! is there such thing as an honest politician?! god, it sickens me sometimes. maybe i should start my own political party! the government seems to have good intentions sometimes, but it still either has alterior motives or goes overkill, sometimes litterally, then they turn around and do too little too late!! but again, everything seems to boil down back to basic human nature. its all about greed, and more importantly, pride. teh politicians jsut want to get famous or cover their asses when they screw up! reallly, theres no one i'd vote for for president if i could. not a person in the last 2 elections. i jsut supported bush cause my parents did. he's not doing a horrible job, but he's no abe lincoln, thats for sure! people wil tend to vote for whoever can save them more money! asthetics seem to matter to them too. they get so viscious over politics, its liek fighting for pack order. man has been killing eachother since the dawn of time. its some basic instinct we have to eliminate anyone who we think could be a threat, even if they're not! again, its pride! we cant stand the thought that someone could be better than us! like i said before, there are some among us who do care, who do give of themselves, who try to make the world better. you know how they are recieved? THEY ARE LAUGHED AT!! even killed. look at any of the civil rights activits, they were despised! sometimes by the very ppl they were fighting for! sure we honor them now, buts thats cause they made a difference. if they hadnt, we wouldnt care, they'd still be hated! people who work with charities are turned away as beggers or fools! they sacrifice their personal UNnessesities for the sake of others, and are looke down on a foolish! THEY ARE THE WISE ONES! not the ppl with fancy homes and wads of cash! they arent who we should look up too! if most of em ever give, its for publicity! tehy ppl we should look up too are those who still have an identity and a consience and a sense of right an wrong! they are the only ones brave enuogh to help out without a camera watching! the ppl you see giving on tv are simply egotists! we dont want these ppl to tell us whats good and bad, to leasd us blindy when they cant see at all! we need real people, not these bastards! but even of the ppl who help out willingly, most only help americans! or english! or whatever country they are in! there are so few who genuinly care for humanity! really, they are the only ones who i would choose to be at the helm! f*** the celebrities, the politicians, the media kingpins! they are all only masks, they may have been ppl, but they put on a fasade and it consumed them! nothing is left but the shell, a puppet of the powers behind the scenes! the media tells us what we want to here. it programs our minds to think thats whats important when its really worthless! COMPLETELY SO! face the facts, society is a complex fabrication, there is nothing real about it, we arent living! we're just sitting in one spot, in a false reality! we cant break out of it with out a tremendous effort. the mold is thick and hard, but a few have had the strength and the will and teh curage to break it! what we've got here is a box. a box with pictures on all sides, so we have no idea. some are afraid. most are ignorant. others have tried to break free and failed. the real question is, what can we do to escape from it without destroying ourselves and everoyone we care about in the proccess? thats one of the few things in this world that is real anymore: the ppl we care about and our dreams. thats all! the box isnt inside us. its around us. we still feel real feelings, tho they may be dulled. our love is real, and our dreams are real. even the fear, the anger, the lusts and passions are real. we are still real ppl, but our vision has been clouded, possibl;y by ourselves. but its not too late to clear away the fog.its never too late till your dead and buried. once we see the box, we can find a way out. im still working on that, so riht now, im jsut spreading the word. right now, i could go into religion, but i wont. all i'll say is that i do believe in god and that he is a sure-fire way out. its trusting him thats the hard part. its goes against our hard-wiring. we have to deny our human nature and trust our other half: our spirit, heart, and soul. sometimes ppl become so twisted, that they loose even that. luckily, not many are. there is alot more could say about god, but i'll save that for another day. all i can do now is ask you to open your eyes and see the box your in, and find its weakness. im not saying it'll be easy, no way its easy. but nothing worth having is gotten easily, now is it? ^_^
