it was a salmon day
for those of you who dont know what a salmon day is, its when you swim upstream all day just to get screwed and die in teh end. today was a pain in the ass. OUR GOD DAMN ICE CREAM MACHINE BROKE!! and since i didnt quite know about it yet, i rung someone up for 2 large rotbeer floats and couldnt make them! so i called my manager up tp void them (cause for some reason only a manager can void things) and she wasnt coming, so i went back there and asked one of my coworkers to call her up and eventually she does, but instead of helpng me, she decides its more important to make a hamburger. i guess it was needed, but while she was taking her time, i had aline piling up and nothing i could do about it! so then i call her again and she acknoledges me and comes over and i explain what happened, so she decided to test the ice cream amchine and flip switches and stuff and insterad of voiding the order, she's trying toget it to work and more ppl are piling up and so i say "could you please just void the order?" and so she does and blah blah blah, eventually the line dissapates casue hal;f of them wqanted some icer cream product or another...and about 15 or 20 minutes later, she calles me back and tell me she's letting me go for the day! i had three hours left on my shift!!!! she said tha i was "giving her attitude" because of that comment. i nodded and kept my mouht shut. she said she could have written me up, but instead is jsut sending me home for the day. she also said (at least 4 times) "i think your a nie iid and a good worker, but just check that attitude ok?" so i said "ok, thanks" clocked out and left. grrrr...oh btw: everyone knows she's a tweaker, even my coworkers freind. she has those eyes that are like sunken and buggy at the same time, blackened teeth, and horrific mood swings. its just the store manager who doenst believe it. i feel i didnt deserve to be let off for the day like that, my stressed outness was justified! i was the only one ot front at the time, so i was taking all teh heat for it!! grrrrrrr...but anyways, it got better when i came home! i played ddr for the first time in ages! the home game has a workout mode in which it tracks miles done at a jogging pace and i did 5 miles! im gona do that every day i thinkm, or at least im gonna try! and now for a song!

Hey Miss Murder can I?
Hey Miss Murder can I?
Make beauty stay if I,
Take my life?

Whoa-oh-ohh

With just a look they shook
And heavens bowed before him.
Simply a look can break your heart.
The stars that pierce the sky;
He left them all behind.
We’re left to wonder why
He left us all behind.

Hey Miss Murder can I?
Hey Miss Murder can I?
Make beauty stay if I,
Take my life?
Whoa-oh-ohh
(ohh)

Dreams of his crash won’t pass
Or how they all adored him.
Beauty will last when spiraled down.
The stars that mystify
He left them all behind.
And how his children cry
He left us all behind.

Hey Miss Murder can I?
Hey Miss Murder can I?
Make beauty stay if I,
Take my life?
Whoa-oh-ohh

What's the hook, the twist
Within this verbose mystery?
I would gladly bet my life upon it.
That the ghost you love, your ray of light
Will fizzle out without hope.
We're the empty set just floating through, wrapped in skin,
Ever searching for what we were promised.
Reaching for the golden ring we never let go,
Who would ever let us put our filthy hands upon it.

Hey Miss Murder can I?
Hey Miss Murder can I?
Make beauty stay if I,
Take my life?
Whoa-oh-ohh

Hey Miss Murder can I?
Hey Miss Murder can I?
Make beauty stay if I,
Take my life?
Whoa-oh-oh!

Miss Murder- AFI

i did a lyric interprettation site tyhingy and this is what i wrote after reading other ppls review as well:

i think "miss murder" is suicide. the more i read the lyrics, i think its not a literal suicide, but selling your soul for stardom and "leaving it all behind" but its reaching for somehting unattainable, hence "golden ring...filthy hands upon it" i dont see the jesus metaphor or if its in referance to anyone in particular.
