School is evil.

We just had a humongo schedule change Tuesday. After four weeks of school. I was so confused, but everyone else was, too, so I didn't stick out. But the good news is, I got rid of both of my crazy (insane, mentally abnormal, disturbed) teachers. Hallelujah!!! And I fell asleep during Algebra yesterday. And Bible study. And then went to bed before 10:00. I've been dead tired lately--I'm playing on both JV and Varsity in volleyball, which means I have two sets of games and practices. And then on the days we practice I have PE. I just kind of collapse into bed each night. Sigh.

PHD--Pain, Hostility, and Torture

Wow...I'm tired. I had a volleyball game today, and I played JV and Varsity. I'm basically a benchwarmer on Varsity, but I did play some. Plus we had double PHDs in practice yesterday. A PHD is when you run to the net, jump three times, run back, do either up-downs, four corners, bleachers, push-ups, wall sits, wall jumps, or run up and down the stairs, then run a lap. Then do it all two more times. A double PHD is when you do all that but double--run to the net twice, and do two laps. Still three times. And we did two double PHDs in practice. Can you say tourture? Other that that and craving a blueberry muffin, this week was pretty good. I got a 95 on my Algebra test, and a 102 on my Anatomy test. Boo-Yah!!! ~.^

In memory of Steve Irwin

Yesterday at 11:00 am, Steve Irwin, aka the Crocodile Hunter, passed away. He was diving off of the Great Barrier Reef, and a stingray's barb whipped around and punctured his heart. He was pronounced dead an hour later after numerous CPR efforts. He left behind a wife and two children--ages eight and three. But he died doing what he loved best--educating the world about a dangerous animal. God bless.

HA!!! I've been trying to get on here since last night. FINALLY I SUCCEEDED!!! Boo-yah! I dunno what was up with that... Neways, you know how Spongebob is with driving? That's how I am. If there were any cars parked where I was practicing today, I probably would have smashed up all of them. And then it started to rain, so I had to stop. Probably for the best, actually. ^^'

I went to the Bodies exhibition with my Anatomy class on Saturday. It was awesome. The bodies were skinned so you could see the muscles and everything. They also had a fetal room, with babies and embryoes that had been lost by miscarrige or something else. None of them were aborted. One had beautiful red hair, but his organs were on the outside. It was sad. I don't know how anyone could abort a baby after seeing that room. I don't see how anyone could abort a baby in the first place, but after that...

I went to the eye doctor Monday. My vision got worse--especially my right eye. I got a trial pair of contacts to wear to see if they work. The other brand I tried irritated my eyes and turned them red. So far these are working, although I can always feel them in. If that makes any sense. My friend has an eye infection in both eyes because she wore the same pair of contacts for too long. She didn't have any other ones. Now she has to wait for glasses. I lent her mine, but my perscription is too strong for her. She just uses them to see what's on the chalkboard during class. You know what the most annoying sound is? The sound of someone smacking. And the sound of a dog licking himself. That drives me nuts. Just thought I'd share that.

I officially hate school. And my English teacher is crazy. We had a pretest on capitalization, which I know (duh), but I missed seventeen things on it because my teacher didn't really specify on what to study. And she gave most of the class a zero for homework because hardly anyone actually studied for thirty minutes for a test on a subject they knew. Plus, no one has enough time to study for that long!!! Grr... I like my Anatomy class, though. We actually have a good teacher, and she lets us make odd coments on everything. We were laughing way too hard for it to be healthy today in class. We were learning about the facial muscles, and she was moving her jaw in, out, and side to side. And tons of other stuff. She's cool. On Friday my class is going to a dead bodies exhibition. The bodies are skinned, so you can see the muscles. It sounds so cool. And we don't have to follow the school dress code, thank goodness. I do not feel like wearing a skirt in the car. Or anywhere else, for that matter.
