I already spent all of my birthday money and the money I got for putting the books together. I went clothes shopping with my aunt and my cousin's girlfriend, and splurged. Now I'm just about broke again. Sad, ain't it? And then I start school tomorrow...Fun. I might not post for a while, seeing as I'll probably be at the chiropractor's office all the time. All of my books are going to break my back just carrying them to school. Especially the Anatomy book. It's humongo!!! I should weigh it to see exactly how heavy it is. Maybe if I prove that the reason all the teens today slouch is because their backpack is loaded down with way too many books, they'll make either lighter books or give everyone a butler to carry the heavy ones. Personally, I'm leaning towards the butler. I shall call him Alfred.

Ugh...I am so tired. I went to work with my mom, to help put together 100 books/binders of info on food-type stuff, and then had to go to an open house at my school. And get my books--I have eight books for four subjects, plus five notebooks, a dictionary, a thesaurus, index cards, calculator, and pencils. I could barely fit everything in my backpack, and it's one of the biggest ones I've seen! Of course, I won't be taking all of them home every day, so my bag will be less full, but I haven't been assigned a locker yet and have to lug all of them to school on the first day. Which is Monday, for me. Pain.
We had a thunderstorm the other night, and my cousin's friend's house got struck by lightning. He and his mom were in the kitchen. The lightning put a hole in the kitchen wall and they were knocked down by the force of it. But they didn't get struck. All this was in my neighborhood, too. Exiting, ain't it? ^^

Okay--I'm back from vacation, unfortunately. It's so sad. That was my last vacation before school starts. (Aug. 14) I don't much like school. Too much learning.
While I was on vacation, I went in a Borders book store. Awesome store. I only have Books-a-Million and Barnes and Noble near me. Borders has so much more stuff!!! I bought a Fullmetal Alchemist sweatshirt there. It's black, with a transmutation circle behind the Flamel(sp) symbol on the front. It's too big for me, but I had to get it. I'm going to try to shrink it in the wash.
Does anyone know if Case Closed/Detective Conan is ever going to come back on Cartoon Network? I miss it.

It's kinda weird, but I set this up when I'm going on vacation Thursday. I won't be able to check my guestbook entries for a week and a half! *sob* So if you sign and I don't reply, that's why. Either that or I don't like you. You'll never know, will you? *devious smirk*
