Ugh...I am so tired. I went to work with my mom, to help put together 100 books/binders of info on food-type stuff, and then had to go to an open house at my school. And get my books--I have eight books for four subjects, plus five notebooks, a dictionary, a thesaurus, index cards, calculator, and pencils. I could barely fit everything in my backpack, and it's one of the biggest ones I've seen! Of course, I won't be taking all of them home every day, so my bag will be less full, but I haven't been assigned a locker yet and have to lug all of them to school on the first day. Which is Monday, for me. Pain.
We had a thunderstorm the other night, and my cousin's friend's house got struck by lightning. He and his mom were in the kitchen. The lightning put a hole in the kitchen wall and they were knocked down by the force of it. But they didn't get struck. All this was in my neighborhood, too. Exiting, ain't it? ^^
