I can count to purple backwards!
NYC is so awesome. Those shirts do not lie. Let us see if I can remember any of my trip.

Landed in NJ around 8, terrible, horrible, hideous traffic getting into New York. In the lane opposite us, there was a stalled car which other cars kept smashing into. That was all the entertainment we got for about an hour. Then I realised I had books. Gah. Upon taking 'em out, we started moving, because that's how life works.

There was a 20 foot inflatable rat in front of our hotel. I think it had herpes. The hotel was under construction and the n00b at the front desk lost our reservation or something. I'm not really sure, but we did get a room. Upon entering, I broke a drawer. (I also got blood on their sheets. I don't know how this happened. Sewiouswy.)

I'm not exactly sure whereabouts we went first. I know in the basically three days we were there we walked for approx. 25 hours. We only took one cab the whole time. Letsee...we went through the Village, Midtown, Uptown, Chinatown, Little Italy, Soho, and I'm not sure where else.

I'm vaguely aware that Day 1 was Comic Store Day and Day 2 was Obscure Music Store Day. We hit the big comic stores and at Jim Hanely's Universe I got Gunslinger Girl 1 and Gravitation 7. OMGOMGOMG!!!111one YUKI YUKI YUKI YUKI'S PAST SPOILER SPOI-

Disgruntled Fan Girl Samm has been apprehended. She shall be executed at dawn.

Um. Heh. A nice guy there directed me to a really cool anime store, which had that big thing the Power Rangers turn into in the front window. [Man, Power Rangers..."What now? LAZERS!!!"] They also sold Mario Boxers. Give me three good reasons why I didn't buy those boxers. I didn't even know Nintendo had official boxers. Oh, and at Forbidden Planet I bought Tales of Symphonia from some guy watching Invader Zim. I'd be playing it right now, if I wasn't supposed to be at Damn Math Crap Thing. Oh, talkin' about Invader Zim. I shoulda bought JTHM Director's Cut. Seeing as I know nothing about Jhonen Vasquez. Like how to spell his damn name.
Comic Stores? Fun.

We also stopped at health food store 'cause I was DAMN THIRSTY. The weather was so humid! I hate humidity, heat and the like. There were these boxes of tea lined up; Monkey King, Water Sprite, Heavenly Temple and Earl Grey. Saiyuki!!!!

I had the Best. Lunch. Ever. on saturday; the gnocci to rule over all gnocci. I'm drooling on my keyboard just thinking about it.

I have the stupidest background on my computer. It's as close to Yaoi as I can get. Also, my brother is a dunce for doing such an elaborate sabotage of My Otaku. "Now I have to take a stand and 1) Hit him, 2) Scold him, 3) Kill him." Hmm... Tough choice...

My brother typed the above paragraph. And my wallpaper is not yaoi 'tall. Sadly. This window has been open for, like, the last 12 hours. I've had so much to do today... First hockey practise of the year (Sweet! Yes! Felt sooooo good!), Math Crap, going to see Collateral with Godel and getting verbally attacked by a guy at a gamin' store: "Hey guys do you want to play WarHammer do you play Warcraft what character classes are your Dungeons and Dragons characters roll a d6 to attack wanna seemy Bilbo Miniature this guy likes signing tables!!!!!!"

Anytheways, back to Yew Nork. Music stores! We went into a bunch and noone had ever heard of Streetlight Manifesto! Some guy told us to go to a reggae store run by a couple of stoners. That was an experience. I finally got the CD though. After giving up, of course. Found it at a small HMV. What the crap? 's pretty good. You can hear the Catch 22ness...I think...what with the 'na na na's. Such depressing ska. Seems to be about shooting peoples and suicide and whatnot. Funneh.

I also got two pairs of shoes and a book for five bucks. And a pair of PINK PANTS for ten. Like, oh my gosh. (Did Fangirl Samm escape? Is she immune to sedatives? If you see her, shoot/stab/set her on fire. For the love of all that is sacred.)

I beereeve that's all I have to say about that.

Going to NY with my mom is awesome!
