   He's the one-man team! Let's shoot him!
That amazing display proved to me that there is still at least shread of good left in the world.
Last night, my mother was invited to... kind of MC a performance of the Famous People Players. Naturally, I was invited to come too. It really amazed me, as a whole. The Famous People Players is a group of mentally challenged people, acting and and earning their own money, confidently and passionetely. They recieve no government subsidies.
First, we entered their home theatre, originally an abandoned wearhouse. The audience is treated to a meal. The cast set and bus the tables themselves, as well as prepare the meal. They also clean up afterwards, and even wash the bathrooms. They have no hired help, but they do have help from the occasional volunteer. That in itself is pretty cool, but the show was amazing! It was done with black light...The actors dressed up in glowy-foam costumes, and danced around to various opera tunes. The life they breathed into the puppets (that were also used) was amazing. A guy named "J.D" sang the closing song. I swear it brought me to tears. (Notice a pattern here? Everything brings me to tears.)
I found them truly inspiring.
If they ever tour to where you are, check 'em out.

My thoughts are...not organised...Must be the IMPENDING DOOM. I would've liked to advertise...more...more effectivley for these people.....but...I can't...think...now?
