part six
I feel to the ground grabbing my chest trying to catch my breath. I must have scared the others as I feel to the ground because they all came over to help me. *what is wrong?* ayame asked holding my up. *it’s nothing I said I just need to go away for a bit family thing. I am sorry I will be back in a good bit of time so shall we meet in the guild in a month?* I asked getting up. *yes it is no problem. We will meet you there.* ayame said with a smile. I guess she was trying to make me feel better I smiled weakly and said thank you. As I left I felt like I was leaving the only family I have had in my whole life. There was no time to waste thou I had to return to the woods where I was left to die all those years ago. I walked for a few hours till I was there which meant it was time to train. Like my life was depending on it. While I was training on the first day something felt odd like I was being watched or someone was in my woods. I shook the feeling away thinking it’s just me being paranoid. After my second day of training I heard a voice echoing from the trees. I grabbed my scythe and got ready to fight. When all of a sudden a girl ran out of the darkness grasping some flowers and crying. Behind her where a pack of demons from this place I jumped over the girl and slashed at the demons she yelled at me not to kill them even thou I was not planning to kill them. I guess thru tear soaked eyes you can not see to well. When the demons left I returned to the crying girl and when I did she throw herself around me crying into my arms. I don’t know whether it was because she was crying or if I just wanted her to stop I wrapped my arms around her to comfort her. After all her tears had dried she let go of me blushed and said sorry. *what is your name?* I asked the girl who was still grasping the flowers. *my name is yumi.* yumi said. *why where the demons chasing you?* I asked. *I took some of the beautiful flowers of there’s.* yumi said smiling. This throws me off and I started to laugh for the first time in ages. She joined me in laughing then after the fight I did not get to train for the day she keep asking me questions and it messed me up when I trained so I gave up on it for the day. Then night came after a long session of questions. *can I…I mean may I stay with you? If it is not to much of a bother that is.* yumi asked a bit odd but I agreed. Well after a month passed yumi was still with me so I just let her come with me to the guild. So we set off for the guild but something was bugging me. *what type of demon are you yumi?* I asked not seeing in traits of a demon on her. *oh*she said*I am a cat demon.* after that we did not talk until we got to the guild. I walked in and saw everyone at the table we always sit at. *I am back now so what is our next mission?* I asked. *you just return and do not want to rest are you feeling ok?* makoto asked. *wow rea gone only a month and you bring a girl back with you, you dog.* sakura said. *oh everyone this is yumi.* I said. *hello every one.* yumi said sheepishly behind Me.*me and rea are not like that I mean we are not dating.* this time she was blushing. I just smiled and she step out and all the girls rushed to her talking so I ordered a drink and let them talk. We lost a whole day but it was worth it. Ayame said the next morn*we are going to Sato village and that’s that.* so once again we went off now I was running with both sakura and yumi seeing as we only had two horses. At night we made camp at a wood along the way. Yumi went off to explore as the rest relaxed and I cooked dinner. Then a scream emitted from the deeps of the forest. *its yumi!* I said running with my scythe in hand. When I came to a patch of flowers I saw yumi crying and a man over her with a kunai in his hand. *what do you thing you are doing?* I asked the man* and who are you?* *I am kiyoshi and I am here to kill this girl who killed my family* kiyoshi said with anger in his voice. I jumped in front of her getting the kunai lodged in my shoulder. *I know yumi well she would never do that kind of thing.* I said ripping the kunai out of my skin. He keep on and said she did so we fought for a good bit of time exchanging blows left and right. After both of us where bleeding profoundly kiyoshi stopped and took a good look at yumi and said*this is not her. I am so sorry for what I did I will work off the debt I caused.* I guess ayame liked the sound of another person to rule over so she let him stay. The next morning we walked all the way to Sato village. When we arrived sakura said *will you boys please excuse us girls for a moment and please give the horses a place to rest.* we said ok and took them to the stables. *so what do you think they are doing?*kiyoshi asked. *no idea but its something to do in this town just can’t remember what it is.* I replied. In a few minutes later we walked out and saw the girls in there best kimonos and then kiyoshi said without thinking *wow…yumi you look beautiful!* I knew this would cause trouble so I said *you all look beautiful like fine china dolls.* I did not help him thou they turned to him and sakura asked *what about us you jerk?* *oh you guys…you look ok I guess.* kiyoshi said signing his death papers with that statement. They went to hurt him but he exchanged himself for me so I took the beating and when they where done and saw it was me the keep apologizing while I laughed and said it was ok. When they saw the site of me laughing they joined in and so did kiyoshi. *so what do you girls plan on doing today in such outfits?* I asked getting healed by my detoshi. They looked at each other and said*shopping! What else would we do and what’s wrong with these outfits?* sakura asked. *not a thing I think you all look really great in them and have fun I need to rest I will set the camp up and might get some stuff later in town we will rest on that hill.* I said pointing to a hill. *ok then you*sakura said pointing at kiyoshi *need to do some work to after what you said. Rea is not meant to do all the work.* after that they left and we set up the camp and relaxed before we went down to town. As the girls where walking thru the town sakura asked yumi*what are you going to buy today?* yumi blushed and said *I want to find something for rea.* sakura awed at this statement and yumi continued to say *the only thing is I don’t know what he likes or anything. Oh I hope I can find something.* sakura asked makoto secretly *do you feel like yumi is to fond of rea if they are just friends I mean don’t you like him?* *I was joking when I said we where lovers and I did but he does not return my feelings so I am over him now.* makoto replied. After that ayame started to talk with yumi. *so do you like rea?* ayame asked. Yumi blushed and said *well I think I do I mean he saved me and let me cry on him. He is nice but when he fights it is like he is evil but never losses his good side.* *ok then I was just wondering.* ayame said laughing when she saw how much yumi had watched rea. After several stores with nothing in them they found a shop and yumi was happy she found something for rea iris flowers like the ones she had when they first meet. *I am sure he will like them.* sakura said. Yumi was shocked when she herd this that she knew they where for him. That night as they where going back to the camp yumi saw a small cat demon in a box and said *Hana I have missed you so much* now hugging the small cat. They took her back with them to the camp. When they got there it was dark and the fire was lit and dinner almost done. *what did you do to help?*sakura asked kiyoshi with an evil look on her face. *don’t get mad at me he already did it all before he told me what to do.* kiyoshi said sitting up. Yumi looked around asking where I was. *he is sleeping on that tree over there.* kiyoshi said mad that yumi was looking for me and not him. *darn the only good looking one likes that loser rea.* kiyoshi said. Sakura over herd that and beat him up. Yumi put the bag s down she was careening and left me to sleep. After I woke up I got out of the tree and went to see everyone was talking around the fire all the food gone. *oh there is a hot springs over there if you want to wash up I know it has been a long day for you and it has been sometime from when we last found one.* I said noticing they where still in there kimonos. Thank you so much they all said and no peeking in on us you hear? I took out a rope and tied kiyoshi to the tree away from the view of the girls. *o so you trust him and not me and why is that he is still a guy you know he can just go look if he wanted to.* kiyoshi said mad that he can not see yumi. *he has earned our trust and he dug this hot spring so he is too tired to look at us plus if he wanted to see us he would have asked.* ayame said sticking out her tongue to mock kiyoshi. *so why do you not go look or ask to see them? You know you want to.* kiyoshi said. *easy because I can control my urges unlike you.* I said. He said that’s low and stopped talking until the girls returned covered in there towels and going out of kiyoshi’s view to tease him. I knew they needed there old outfits back so I went into the tent and gave them back to them. When they came back all dressed I cut kiyoshi down. They all went to lie down then yumi asked to talk to me alone so I went along and knocked kiyoshi out so he could not do anything to the girls while they where asleep. *um…I bought you this today.* yumi said giving me the iris flowers. *they are great, thank you.* I said. She got up and went back to the camp and said your welcome I could tell she was red from that far away.
