Feeling fine... for once..
So the holiday weekend is over.. Did you all pig out? Personally I get tired of leftovers after the second day, and my mom always cooks a lot... I can demolish the sweet potato pies in minutes.. Mmmm... She only made three this time though. THREE! I can eat three pies in one day.. >_> The outrage...
Well in other news I got to talk with Krissy on the phone finally over the weekend. It was heavon! ^__^ Everytime I close my eyes I can hear her beautiful voice.. So calming.. So wonderful.. So heartwarming.. Just so perfect! *sigh* Isn't love great?
What else? Oh! I just finished reading the Da Vinci Code this weekend too. Bitchingly good read. Seriously! It blew my mind away! I'm no good at giving short reviews but I'll give it a try. It's a kinda mystery/suspense novel, where the main characters are running from the French Police who think they murdered 4 people. (One of whom is the grandfather of one of the main characters..) In the mix of running from the police, they're also searching for the Holy Grail from clues the womans grandfather secretly gave before he died. There are so many things you'll find out reading this book you'll read it with your mouth hanging open. For instance, did you know Jesus was actually married AND had a child? Yeah, me either. If you're a highly religious Christian, Catholic, or whatever else is in that ring of religions you'll probably be more outraged with this book than curious. Especially since all the documents and stuff mentioned are all true and real, it'll most likly have you re-evaluating your faith... A few other things that might peek your intrest... The Holy Grail is not a cup. Waaaaay back in the day the Pagan religious leader combined the Pagan beliefs with Christianity beliefs. They worshiped nature and from their worshipping of the sun when he combined the two religions that's how "holy" people got halos. Many famous people used to be apart of a secret society that guarded the identity of the Holy Grail's location, people including Isaact Newton and Leonardo da Vinci.
*Wooo* That was a lot.... Guess I'll leave it at that for today.
Ja ne ^_^
