Well, well, well, well....
I guess I finally took some time and posted here. How long has it been, since Christmas? That's a long time. I can't believe I never posted on New Year's, Valentine's Day, hell, I didn't even post on my birthday. I'm 18 now, so that means I'm officially not a kid anymore, but everyone knows for sure that I still am for damn sure.
Jesus, so much has happened since I posted, actually, a lot happened the week before Christmas, but that involves a lot of story telling. That week will most likely go down as my favorite week of all freakin' time.
My birthday was okay, I didn't really do anything except hang out with my girlfriend. I did get some cool gifts from my friends and family though.
Best news for last though, I got accepted by my number one choice for college! I got excepted by probably one the best art college in the entire world, the School of Visual Arts in New York City. I felt like so much pressure just eased off my back. My parents were so excited, and my dad felt just as unstressed as I did. I can't believe that my major in college is actually going to be Cartooning! I'm not going to live on campus though, I'm going to commute, which isn't bad, I only live an hour away from the city. You might think it's dumb to stay home, but there are plenty of good reasons, but I got too many people that I don't want to leave behind.
What's great is that I only have a feel for what it's like to be at SVA. I'm currently taking a pre-college cartooning class, and it's a freakin' blast. My teacher is an actual pro, so I feel like my teacher fully knows what she's talking about. I go down every Saturday morning for three hours, and it's just an awesome experience. The only thing that's a twist is that this class costed over $300 (not including supplies), and some of these kids are taking the class just to "get better at drawing." There are some kids there that are serious, but I feel I'm definately one of the best.
Here's hoping that I post more often (I don't expect too many comments), so I leave you with my most recent AMV "One Piece - Not Your Ordinary Pirates." It is definately my best AMV, many consider it to be one of the best One Piece AMV's of all time. And don't worry, it's not emo.
Oh yeah, almost forgot, SNOW DAY, WHOOT WHOOT!
