In Freak Flan Accident, Girl Dies. Details on Page 23C
Why must people try to ruin stuff? Some guy I knew in middle school is trying to get me to go over and fuck him. I'm like, I've got a boyfriend, and you know it. I'm not a slut. And, mostly, I DON'T BETRAY PEOPLE.
**fumes**
Anyway. Friday, it was storming!!! I was SO HAPPY!!!!!!!!! I LOVE THE RAIN. The streets were even flooding. And it was lightening-ing. Thunder!!! It was wonderful!!!
I didn't go to my dad's cos of the hazard of driving in that mess.
So I stayed home with Antonio, eating, playing counterstrike, and enjoying the rain. I wound up going to bed at 7 am. I got up again at like 12, and took a freezing cold shower cos my mom turned down the heater **cries**
Then my dad came and got me, and we went to the museum. We didn't look at the museum, though, cos we saw a movie at thet IMAX. (iMAX? Imax?) It was called "Hurricane on the Bayou," which was about the disappearing wetlands of America, and Hurricane Katrina.
Oh man, i tell you...I CRIED. I cried when Hurricane Katrina happened, too. All the loss associated with that whole mess...Apparantly, the wetlands also help damper the effects of a hurricane..."For every 3 square miles of wetland, the water level brought by a hurricane is reduced by a foot" something like that.
In my room, I have a picture of a woman and her adorable little baby who got saved from Hurricane Katrina. It's a touching picture; you can see the action behind them, but they're sharing a sweet moment.
I also have a picture of an Iraqi girl...I like it because of her eyes; she looks rebellious but reserved. There's another one of some children in a house doorway, and a soldier's gun around them...taken from near the soldier, of the children.
I like those pictures, I got them from the newspaper.
OH! and our zoo has a baby snow leopard...**loves** Monday, my sister and I are gonna go to the petstore and get her a rat and the set up. Yeah, a rat. She wants one (a female only, cos she hates the dragging balls of the males and I don't blame her cos my mouse was a girl), just to name Pancakes. And to love. I'm excited. We aren't telling anyone (except I told my mom...oops), and are taking the bus, and are just gonna show up with a lil rat and set up ^^ cuteness!!!
Then on Tuesday, we're going to the Zoo!! One of my favorite hangouts EVER. My mom's got a membership, but it only works if she's there, so I rarely get to go.
sorry it's so big ^^thank you!
