boys, you suck
So, today, Emily and I went to Beaverton **rolls eyes at Beaverton**
The directions from the internet were stupid. But!!! We figured it out...after taking the bus half a mile in the wrong direction xD.
Eventually, we wound up at the movie theatre. What exactly were we doing over in Beaverton? Going to see DEATH NOTE.
I was shocked to hear it was basically full, but we got in and sat on the floor in the handicap spots. Emily wanted to see it because it was super popular when we were in Japan. I wanted to see it because I was curious and because it was popular in Japan.
Well, the place was PACKED. With idiots. During the previews, an ad for Death Note anime showed up, ALL these stupid little fan girls started squealing like pigs when L showed up **rolls eyes until they fall out of head**
But that aside, the worst part was, THE MOVIE WASN'T IN JAPANESE!!!!! Oh, the writing was all left untranslated, so the part where they're on the bus was just like "wuuuuut?!" except I knew what was happening and I explained it to Emily. I was sooo hoping for subs not dubs.
The guy who played Light was...uhm...weird. He looks SO much like Emily and I's friend Tomohiko xD every time we saw him we're like, "look!!! it's Tomohiko!!! LMAO!" except, Tomohiko is shorter, and less orange =/
I think the actor best suited was L...L's a great character. and the guy who plays him genuinely looks like the manga version. and even the english voice dub was pretty good.
But basically everyone in the theater wanted to throttle the idiotic L fangirls.
...but I was a fangirl for Misa xD
GREATEST part of the WHOLE movie was...at the end, for the credits...they started playing... DANI CALIFORNIA xD~!!!!!!!!! ROFL!!!!!!!!!!!!! **dies** I was dyin'!!! so fuckin' funny!!! I was like, "L and Light should put their genius together to figure out why the hell they put RHCP at the end credits!!!" and then Emily started singing the tune to the color coordination on Guitar Hero
We were extremely happy, then, to get some ice cream afterwards, and go back to the dorm.
I have no time =[ life sucks. **flippy emo hair**
OH!!! and NaeNae, you may be right about Boo/Hayley...but it's so much more fun to imagine her as being serious. Emo kids crack me the fuck up because I was one...before it was popular or I'd heard of it xDthank you!
