tap your toes to the beat, baby!
So, just to fill you in on my life!
Last week, my mom was considering taking my 16 year old cat Miss Kitty to be put to sleep because the already skinny cat was not eating much and throwing up, etc. but, since it was 3 weeks until I come home, I asked her to try and hold off so I could at least say goodbye. My mom okays it, and stops giving the cat her arthritis medicine, cos maybe that was the cause...uhh apparently it was, cos she's perked up quite nicely since. Feh. My mom tryin' to kill my babies =P
I decided that once I move out here permanently, and if I have a job by then, I am getting my new cat on my birthday!!! =D I can't wait...kinda. I hate to say bye to my other pets...I love them.
Thursday, I went to a concert. Mindless Self Indulgence. THEY WERE AMAZING!!! Jimmy Urine's hilarious. He likes to mock his audience, which sounds bad, but he proves a good fucking point: people are IDIOTS. At one point, he put a bandana around his mouth and said "I'm taking this place hostage, nobody leaves til I get $20."
People rushed forward to give him their money. I was like WTF??? If I had been front row, I would have demanded HE give ME $20. But some idiot did, and he took it, and said, "WE'RE SMOKIN' METH TONIGHT!!!!" xDDD he's such a funny freak. I loved it.
Well, except for My Birthday Massacre. They have some OK beats, but I was not too impressed. The lead singer was this weirdly perky chick. She goes, "ok, guys! Let's clap our hands together!" xD kindergarten teacher material there.
The first band, though was... LAME. The girl was wearing a little skirt and I swear she fingered herself onstage >_>
xD Have you ever seen Kamikaze Girls? Saturday, Emily and I watched it. You'd like it, trust me. LOL
Friday, we say fireworks at the Rose Festival...we just went up to the 15th floor and watched them from the fire escape...which we got locked out on xD but it was fun cos the other people were Japanese.
and yeah, that's about it in my dull life. I've been eating a lot lately, naughty naughty!!!
