   about to be really busy
so next week, my mom's friend Linda Causey and her daughter are coming. I haven't seen either of them since I was 14.

Linda was always really nice and pretty cool. She's funny and I like her. But her daughter ---ok, we'll be fair. I knew Satchel from when she was 0-7 years. So, she's 11 now (wow!) and probably/hopefully better. I know I'm better than when I was 11. well. okay i'm just bad in a different way.

All I can remember Satchel as is being this snot nosed little BRAT living with no consequences. She would hit, scream, cry, annoy me to no end, and no matter what she did, she always got her way. It was funny when we were there, because my mom made Linda discipline her. She was like 6 and crying because she wanted something else to eat...well, Linda told her NO and she bawled!

haha, I love kids, but I'm not sorry when I say it's HILARIOUS when they cry and throw little fits. Not if they're being abused or neglected. But when they're being a brat and they get put in their place? Priceless.

I always laugh when kids cry. My mom and I went to see Wall-E a few weeks ago; I was kinda bored the whole movie, but when he "died" and some little kid in the audience was crying, I was laughing my ass off. Partly because the robot was "dead" and partly because the kid was crying.

Anyway, back to what I was saying. Satchel DID seem to grow out of it as she got older, so hopefully, she's a nice little girl now. And man, I REALLY hope she isn't like the 11 year olds who were in 6th grade when I was in 12th >_< (if you didn't know, my last year of HS was 6-12)

This one little girl in particular was SOOOO snotty. Can't blame her. Her mom was a typical, selfish, spoiled suburban mommy who made sure to drop off her little princess every day RIGHT AT THE DOOR in her BMW or Porsche or whatever us normal broke-folk don't have. Not to mention BLOCKING TRAFFIC with said fancy car. And the little girl was so snotty, like I said. One day, she was saying, "We're not that rich...ok we're pretty rich, but, like, it's fun!" ...okay, lol. it's not like it's a crime to be rich, but damn if the world needs another Paris Hilton wanna-be.

I'm kinda worried that I won't get along with Satchel, because even though kids love me, I didn't used to have the patience for them like I do now, so I fear I was rather mean to her back in the day. And I'll give her credit: she had moments of being quite enjoyable and cute and funny and all.

One time, we were driving to the beach (they're from NC btw), and she asked how much longer it would be. She was like 5 so I was 13, I said "about 15 minutes" and she goes "awwwwwww. that's a long time." I said "but we've already been driving for 4 hours. It's not that long."

She said "it is to me cos I've not been around that long!" xD it was so sweet. anyway they don't get here til August 3 or whateverthank you!
