Cheesy goodness

The grilled cheese glory
Second in the series of great sandwiches is the grilled cheese sammy. I've also heard tell of it being called a "toasted" cheese sandwich, but thats in poor taste I think. The grilled cheese sandwich is one of those things that if you can't make one, you really can't cook. The only X-factor is the type of cheese used. If you use Kraft singles, no problems. If you use real cheddar or something, you have to worry that the bread will burn before the cheese melts. This can be solved by covering the fry pan and letting it sit for a while on low heat. Velveeta can be tricky because it melts too fast. I recommend cooking it a little hotter so the bread cooks fast and the cheese shouldn't flow out the sides too much.

Oh and if you try making one in a George Foreman grill, you have to prop it up with something or Gearge will "knock out" the cheese, and that blows!

Attracted to cartoons?

I know this is pretty tame compared to a lot of anime pictures out there, but do you think its strange to be attracted to cartoon characters? There's a pretty big hentai following in Japan and somewhat in the US, especially on the internet. Personally, I think its strange to be attracted to a drawn or animated picture, and yet am anyway. They're still girls maybe? I know female anime fans have crushes on male characters too. Do anime anime artists just super-emphasize things that we find attractive of the opposite sex? Its an odd topic anyway.

Ka-Boom
So, indeed Hydrogen is lighter than air, and will make things float better than Helium. Problem is that it explosively reacts with oxygen. Giant blimp filled with Hydrogen + engine on board creates sparks = exploding and burning.

what makes life better?
Peanut butter and jelly makes life more liveable! normally the PB would just make your mouth stick together, but with a pile of gelatinous fruit...it goes down easy. And if you-re having problems with sticky hands from holding all that peanut butter and jelly in each hand, worry no more because technology has invented bread! Tis the perfect thing to let you get a clean hand-hold on your food without ruining the basic flavor.

Bleh
Today is not very good...One of those days where you have doubts about your abilities and feel like giving up. I know I'd feel better if my fiancee/gf were here but I don't get to see her until later. Its one of those sad, emotionally codependent sort of days. I just hope she is having a good day because if we're both sad-sacks, who gets to comfort whom?

Well thats just prime!

This is the coolest toy I own bar none! Of couse I shelled out $70 for it, but its so amazingly badass that I don't really care about being poor. It has so much crazy detail on it compared to any other optimus prime figure. His chest opens up and you can see the matrix light up, or take it out and pass it on to Hotrod. I have a pretty serious TF's collection, and this is now one of my all-time favorites. It ranks up there with the new original megatron reissue from Japan. Unicron came out finally last year, and is almost as cool as Prime.

I doubt anyone cares or collects action figures, but they are where most of my disposable income goes.

Poopy
Apparently I can't reasonably get married in Japan, the information that I was going off of left out a few details that I found out about after a call to the embassy in Japan. So that sucks, but the plan is a simple outdoor wedding in a cute park in Eugene. No parents, just two witnesses and some non-denominational marriage dude. My fiance (funny to say/write that) is catholic but mostly non-practicing and I'm pretty much nothing although I was baptized catholic. Last time I went to church was Xmas 2002 and I grought my CD player and listened to Queens of the stone age through the service. I really don't care much for the ceremony and religious side of marriage. That doesn't leave much but commitment left over (and love). Japan is still going to kick butt, and I have a big budget for anime and transformers trinkets. I still have to get my act together and get better at speaking japanese.

Kagaku = chemistry
Boku no namae wa Robak desu! = My name is Robak (Andy)
I just need to learn how to say vegetarian so I limit my consumption of animal broth!
