This sucks
I'm so frustrated with school lately! Where is my motivation! Plus I keep setting up reactions and screwing thigs up for some reason or another which is super frustrating when I ruin a weeks' worth of work in a couple of hours. Ugh, where is the mind-numbing television to save me?

On a completely unrelated note, I now again own an original nintendo, complete with super mario brothers! I got it off ebay anf the person who sold it to me replaced the reader inside the old gal and it works like a charm, without any of the shifting of the games inside and constant resetting. Ah, at least consumerism can keep me happy.

I can not type very good today because I lost my use of my left index finger playing basketball with friends today. My knuckle is all puffy and my finger won't bend much. I might go home early from the lab today because I don't want to blunder and spill something really toxic on myself. Today will probably be a good day for reading journals.

New life experiences
I've done some weird stuff in the last few days. Purchasing a ring for my gf, I couldn't have felt more weird. The Kay jewelry place in the mall is super-fancy, and I was wearing torn up army pants, an old paint-stained hoodie and a bright orange jacket over it with a racing stripe. Oh, and chuck taylors (one pink and one blue). I was helped by this really tall woman with tons of makeup and a really dark tan, and her bra pushed up her boobies really high and obviously. My face was probably red the whole time but she was really friendly and helpful. I'm pretty sure she was making it up when she said that the ring I picked up was one of her favorites in the store, but who knows...It all seems like a big sales ploy, but when they're telling you what you want to hear its hard to be too skeptical. At least at the time. I got one of those little boxes for rings and hid it in my guitar case when I got home.

I proposed on Rachael's birthday, which I had been forshadowing and dropping hints that it was going to be super-fantastico and such. The picture I've added is close to what the ring looks like, except mine is silver (white gold, whatever that is) and has blue stones ans less diamondy stuff on the side.

   Today
Today is a very important day....today is the day I attempt to marry my girlfriend. I know she'll say yes, but I'm totally suprising her. If only she didn't get home before me I could have planned for it a little better, but hey whatever works.

Unlikely to be realized contest
My back hair is like a guardian angel...I never see it, but I know its there.

I actually have a tatoo on my back-left shoulder, and I never see it. I pretty much forget that I even have it most of the time unless someone mentions it. It was kinda my plan to have it that way anyway, because if I saw it all the time I might get sick of it. I don't know if I'll ever get another one, the only design I've been thinking of is the stuff that one of the villains in Blade of the Immortal drew on Rin. I doubt that anyone coming here reads BOTI based on the response I got in a post about it, but its in the On silent Wings storyline, and my tattoo is Shira's kimono symbol, which is on the inside cover of Heart of Darkness. Hey if anyone can tell me what my tattoo is based on that info, I'll send you a prize from my home!!

Death
As far as I know, John Kerry is the only Democratic nominee that is against the death penalty. This being out of the people that seem to have a chance. That pretty much secures him my vote if he makes it to the real election.
