Simpsons
I'm starting to forget when it was exactly that the Simpsons was a good show. I remember fondly back to the days of the inanimate carbon rod and Troy McClure. I haven't been able to watch the simpsons for years now. Homer isn't funny anymore, I just hate how he changed into more of a smartass. I liked the caring dufus better. The show is also very sexual now, which just isn't the kind of humor that the Simpsons made a name for themselves with. I still quote the simpsons inappropriately in everyday life, just not much from season 9 on.

BlaHHHHHHH, It seems like it goes in stages where my online journal is more interesting, or the boards are more interesting. I think now its the boards because I don't really get much excitement out of this thing. Blah, blah, blah...I don't know how many people will be able to relate to this, but my life is getting too routine. I go to school which is exactly like work. Come home, eat dinner and sit in front of the TV, girlfriend falls asleep and I play videogames until I go to bed. Thinking about it is very depressing. Maybe its just winter, because its really rainy all the time and it gets dark earlier. I need to get out more. Most of my peers go out on the weekends to bars and hangout, but I don't drink or smoke, and I have exhausted my tolerance for hanging out with drunk people. Its just not that fun and it changes my perceptions on people I see everyday for the worse to see them acting dumb.
Oh, if only there was a good music scene in Eugene but its only hippie jam-band crap!

Distance
I haven't seen either of my parents or my brother in about two years. My Mon lives on the east coast, Pop in the Middle and me on the West coast. Whats weird about it though is that it really doesn't bother me at all. Unlike most of my peers, I haven't gone home for christmas or any holidays to see my family. I'm never homesick, I just like to chat every once in a while with my parents to know whats going on.
I'm not sure if this is unusual or not, I'm not emotionally attached to my parents that much compared to most of the people I know. I have been noticing that in general i am a lot less bothered by things than most people. I am not easily upset, I don't get angry very easily. i don't think I am emotionless because I'm usually happy and get excited about simple stuff in life.
The biggest problem is when someone else is upset about something that doesn't bother me at all. I've been trying to take peoples individual feelings in mind, rather than just saying "Don't worry about it, its no big deal" (Which is what i secretly always want to say).
(Another example; I wasn't really upset about my parents getting divorced when I was a kid)

chemistry
Does anyone read GTO? I just got the latest Graphic Novel and it reaffirms that it is the most hilarious manga in existance. I think it might be a little bit biased toward men, since GTO is a dirty man but its so good that it shoudln't matter.
Also lately I've been wanting to watch upright citizens brigade. It was a sketch comedy show on comedy central. Has anyone ever seen that? I was a really huge freak for that show a little while back, but now I can rent the first season DVD on Netflix.

At long last
Hey I am finally back on the boards after a long vacation of laziness and snow. My greatest effort was toward beating ratchet and Clank 2, though I'm not quite there yet. I was also snowed in for a couple of days. It supposedly never snows here in Oregon, but we got a ton and it broke tree's all over the apartment complex. I saw lord of the rings and had to drive home on ice sheets. I had to get there an hour early to get tickets, so it was a 5 hour experience and all the rain froze by the time we left. I didn't crash though. More later!!!

Vacation
Thank pete for vacations! My chemistry-smarts mind is starting to wear down a little. A good dose of television and videogames will surely recharge my lazy batteries. That and getting free stuff from people on annual gift-giving day. Hopefully I will be able to acheive the last few neccesary parts for my doomsday device. I guess you will all find out if that happens....
