   Tv shows
Favorite TV of the moment:

1. Smallville on the WB; It s a bit cheesy, but I really like it. Actually a well done superhero show, and also survived the lets show superhero's as teens idea pretty well.

2.The Real World; I don't know why I watch it, but this season is way better than the beer-fest that the last one was. CT is my favorite "character" because he's so unstable

3. Yugioh; there's something compelling about this show, I can't explain it. The whole competition thing is fun. Unfortunately they are trapped in some VR world in the new eps, and its terrible to watch.

4. Family Guy; the best thing since the simpsons became horrible. I haven't seen too many eps, so the cartoon network repeats are still fun. The "controversial" Weinstein episode was disappointing except for the Optimus Prime part.

   Impending Doom
Ugh, this site is a big time distraction! I have to sit at the computer all day lately because I have like 5 papers or reports to write. Its a pretty decent community of us nerds here, and the boards are thankfully not full of really crappy posts. Good thing I can fill this little page up with crappy posts!!! Anyway, do the OB's suck up your time? I know a lot of people signed up about the same time I did and have a zillion more posts than me, so somebody's gotta be spending way too much time here.

self confidence
yikes, I just visited someones myotaku site and it was super-whiney. The posts sounded like they were from a mousy 10 year old. Its ok I guess and I'm not trying to make fun of the person but where's the self confidence. I hate hearing about people who are too scared to talk to girls or worried about gaining weight. I just feel bad for them. We really need to kill the anime-nerd stereotype of the quiet keep to yourself kid. That sort of personality just propagates itself and makes for sad antisocial people. Sometimes you can complain about life, but the truth is that nobody wants to listen to someone who complains all the time (even if its justified). (RANT RANT RANT)

I played basketball against a couple of my professors today, it was kinda odd. They were both much much better than me, but thats not saying much since I have only high school gym class bball experience. I actuall made some shots though and I was proud of myself. I can only take outside shots mostly because I cannot drive the ball to save my life. I'm also a huge trash talker but I toned it down a little because I work for these people. Fun times but I'm pooped!

YUGIOH!
Man this Yugi thing is a drain on my pocketbook (I don't really have a pocketbook). At first the show was really bad, and I just kinda watched it because it was on, but I started to get into it and convinced my GF that we shouldplay the card game. So we went out and bought the YUGI and Kaiba starter decks and started to learn to play. That was my downfall. I kept on getting new cards, more and more thinking that I wanted to have some of the cool cards I'd seen on the show. Man I have a ton of cards now! Its kinda crazy. I still only play with my girlfriend though, secretly I know there are 10 year olds that could trounce me. Nowadays I'm stopping in at Walmart twice a week to pick up packs of magicians force ($4.00 for 9 cards!) I love it but I think I"m insane.
