test
I've got a big test today which helps determine whether or not I am making good progress as a grad student. Its really scary, and I will feel really foolish if I fail it. I hate tests! why can't we just skip testing all together and go on the honor system. I'm a big fan of the honor system. That and fact and opinion tests.

Najica
I rented this anime a couple of days ago, it sounded really cool having a secret agent/ perfumist who uses her great sense of smell to do spy missions. It was total crap! I was really disappointed. The whole first episode was one endless crotch-shot. The whole anime was based on seeing underwear on girls wearing miniskirts. WEAK!

Sick
Sick is about the worst thing you can be. I have been for the past week along with a lot of the people I know. I stayed home from school Monday and Tuesday but I had to start going in and doing research because I was really sick of bad daytime television. It only confirms how much i hate courage the cowardly dog and ed, edd and eddy. Why do they torture me with such bad TV? I guess thats where video games come in and save the day. I've been playing .HACK, which is surprisingly playable even though the gameplay is weak. I just love the fake emails and stuff. I think the story is going to start to really pick up by the third one. Thats what they said on the interview with the creators. AHHH, tangents....

travel
So I got plans now to go back to the east coast this winter and then the big Japan in the summer. Cheap tickets back to Buffalo make me have to stay there longer than I want to though. There is only so much hanging out with my parents I can handle. I hate flying too! I'm not scared to fly, just to pay for tickets. It was real cheap last time I flew across the country after 9/11 and I actually was in the air during the whole shoe bomber thing. That was pretty wild. It would have been scary to be on that plane, but crazy to see some dude trying to light his shoes on fire with a lighter and then passengers bashing him on the head with a fire extinguisher. It sounds like a cartoon to me. Anyway I haven't seen my mom or my brother in more than a year, so I have to show up so they still remember me. Maybe I'll get to see some snow too!!! I love the snow except for driving in it.

blog
The other day I hurt my neck in the morning whilst stretching. It was a really random thing but it hurt like hell. It ended up being one of those comical injuries, very much like sitcom humor. I couldn't turn my head to the right at all anymore. I had to turn my whole body and keep my neck still, looking very akward. After a while even I thought it was pretty funny. Thems the breaks!

Soul Calibur 2
Wooo! I just go tthis from the store today and I am trapped at school and cannot play it just yet. I got it for gamecube so I can play as Link from Zelda. Zelda being one of the greatest games of all time, it is a nice touch to be able to play as Link. Two years ago or so, I played the original Zelda for 8-bit nintendo again, my friends game where the battery didn't work so you could save. I played it for seven hours straight to beat it. I can't believe how much i remembered about the game. It was pretty funny...a testament to nerd-dom.

slow day
Today is a slow day....I wish it were actually a SNOW day, because then there would be snow. I moved away from the Ny and now there is no snow to play in. It is now pretty much impossible for there to be a school day cancelled because of snow. There are few disappointments this crushing. I have escaped the humidity though, I hate sticking to the couch and being all sweaty. At least in that capacity. Oh well....Nobody reads this but by the off chance that someone actually does, can you recommend some reading material?

   vampires
If you were a vampire, how would you cope with living forever? You can be killed but it isn't very likely that it would happen. Any human friends you had would grow old and die while you stayed the same. And if you were to make someone you know a vampire then they would live forever and possibly resent you for it?

Dragonball gt
I stumbled onto DBGT on the international channel one day and I was instantly hooked. I understand vary little japanese, and there are no subtitles on this version but I loved it anyway. I am a huge DBZ fan so naturally I liked GT. The beginning where they are searching for the dragonballs was great. It was very lighthearted like dragonball. The three villians with the sound-system vests who hypnotized Goku, Trunks and Pan were kust great. I watched all the way to the appearance of SSj4 goku and great monkey baby. i think this is where it fell apart for me. The battle scenes were so tired and old after seeing so many ultimate transformations and dust clouds clearing. It was right at the end of that battle and I stopped watching altogether. Its kinda sad and I don't know if I'll watch the dub eps on CN, but I know I am completely excited about new dagonball episodes. Hooray for young Goku!

   wedding
I went to a wedding reception yesterday where I am mearly the sister of the groom's boyfriend. All in all it was very dull and one side of the family was particularly weird. I was the "blue haired" person there for the most part. I am myself starting to run out of clever things to say when people say "what happened to your hair" or stuff like that. I know that it is pretty much an attention getting thing from the start, but it still does wear on me a bit. Old people are like that though. Hmmm...I plan on a nice relaxing weekend full of videogames and anime, the cornerstone of sloth. damn if it isn't entertaining though. I am currently on Ranma 1/2 volume 12, just finished the storyline where Ranma and the other are fighting over waterproof soap. Its so good! I always root for Ranma to end up with Shampoo though. Nobody tell me what happens in the end.
