Interesting side note: As a head without a body, I envy the dead.
Hey, long time no see!
There seems to be a large number of shows on cable now that make me feel disgusted and sickened. Strangely enough, most of them were spawned from the oily pits of MTV. My super sweet 16 has to be the best show to make you lose your faith in humanity. If you haven't seen it, the premise is that spoiled-ass girls get their parents to buy them huge parties and 1000 dollar dresses while they bitch at them. They seem to have an endless stream of these girls.
Real World Austin is just a show about binge drinking and drunkenness.
At least bad TV sitcoms just had shit actors and lame stories. To see real people being shitheads is a bit more depressing.
As far as TV goes, I watched My name is Earl on NBC today/yesterday an it was really good. i can't remember the last time I watched anything on NBC really. This has Jason Lee in it, (a plus) and has him play a redneck type who decides that he needs to turn his life around by doing good things. He wants to right all of the wrongs he has comitted, and figured karma will pay him back. He actually doesn't know what karma is, and thinks its something that carson daly came up with. The first episode was really funny, so hopefully it doesn't get cancelled. definitely something to look out for, whilst wading through the crapfest.
