The Deal
So here's the deal. Th ebiggest thing that's happening is that my fiancee has been having a pain in her side for a while now, and has gone to the doctor several times about it (no good answers from them). recently they found something which I won't go into detail about, but brings up the big "C" scare. She went in to get an ultrasound yesterday, and I (we) still don't know what the result is. Scary as that is, I'm trying to remain positive and optimistic basically so I can be supportive. This is all framed by school, where I had to give an hour long presentation last night, and had to reschedule my advancement to candidacy exam. Things are adding up, with the thought of my future wife's ailment always in mind. We are getting married on Sunday afternoon too, and I really hope it isn't dampened by bad news.

Today I find out that since my research isn't funded, I may have to be a teaching assistant for the summer, but then can't because it conflicts with my trip to Japan in June. So now my professor has to borrow money from the school to pay for me. I really don't like being a burden but there's nothing I can do about it right now really.

Doesn't all that sound like fun? Hopefully I can find some more positive things tommorrow, things are due to get better next week at least.
