Welcome to Vana'diel
Oh, dear.

I fear that which I have opened is all consuming.

One of the benefits to getting married is getting gifts from relatives. One of the benefits to marrying someone who is awesome is that you can spend gift money on things that are completely not practical. Thus begins my saga...I went to Electronics Boutique (I call it electronic goatee) and bought:

Enter the world of Vana'diel. I have to admit it took a call to Sony and a few hours to get things set up, and installing FF11 took 2 hours of downloading (especially after accidentally restarting my PS2). My first steps into the online world were timid, and I had no idea what to do in the game. There are insane amounts of commands! I'm creeping along, and have joined parties with a few other low-level people and its mad fun! I'm totally addicted. I'm a simple level 7 warrior now but can change and advance to all kinds of different things. Its a blast. You meet people that are fun, and chatting is easy with the keyboard. I'll update on how I'm doing every once in a while.
