wait, they don't love u like i love you
scholars bowl went well.
omg i had so much fun! the first round i went up and i was shaking so bad because i was nervous, and i didn't get any questions right (and i didn't try and guess on any questions.) but our team still won. yes!
then the second round i went up again. our team was missing two players, so we had to go up as only three people.
i guessed on one, but i go it wrong. luckily u don't lose points though. i thought the answer was athena, but it ended up being nike. pff. same thing!
then i guessed on another and i got it right. it was "what's the grouping of nerves in ur stomach, ur solar _______" its ur solar plexis. boo yeah! i'm so good!
during the lightening round we didnt get any i don't think. ergh, our category was names that end with o. i should've known three of them but i got caught up in the speed of it all and my mind went blank.
all in all it was fun though, and our second round we only lost by 20 points.
damnit.
but the team captain (he was a junior, and he was the math wiz for our team. he was good though, i didn't even bother with any of the math problems. co sign? i'm not in trigonometry yet!) was great, and i don't think he was too mad at me for not getting many questions. it was all fun and game.
*sigh* there was a really cute guy at the match. he was from another team, and he had shaggy hair and he was really smart and he was left handed! omg!
him playing an instrument though would be the cherry on top. that would just rock. honestly.
so i had tons of fun. afterwards my dad brough this team (he coached a team at his school, who coincidentally my team went up against.) and myself to taco bell for lunch. i didn't eat though, fast food makes me sick.
his team was so funny. omg.
they took straws and wound them up real tight so that there was a lot of pressure in the straw, and then they flicked the pressurized part, and the straw explodes! it makes a big pop noise and explodes! it wsa so much fun.
and they're all so funny and i had a blast.
hmm...then i came home watched 1/4 of some british poof of a movie called the winslow boy. but i must admit, i got hooked on it, and now i must see the rest so i can see how his trial went. guilty or not guilty? the suspense is killing me!
so yeah, i fell asleep. i was just so tired.
my dad bought me a chocolate milk and a package of double stuff oreos, so i'm content for the moment.
he's gonna leave in a second and go see a band play. they're actually some students of his who started a band. sure, while guys playing guitars might appeal to me, i'm just too tired and i smell so i don't feel like going.
if i did go, i'd want to go with my sis. we know how to have fun at a "rock concert."
as soon as my sis can drive me, we're going to go to all the concerts near us. w00t! (well not all of them, just the good ones.)
thats all i have to say, honest to goodness.
ciao all, have a blast with the remaining 22 minutes and 5 hours that are in the day.
wait, make that 21 minutes and 5 hours.
use them well.
BUH BYES
