mmm, i smell like woodsmoke. if you don't know what that smells like, you are a poor, poor child who has had something beautiful hidden from you. so yesterday was the first day of june dairy days, and i was thinking i was just going to sit around at home. wrong. first, my mom and i ran to the grounds to get supper, and then went back home to wait for my mom's friend sarah. while we were waiting, abbi [sarah's niece], sunny's mom, stopped by to pay me for babysitting her. we sat and talked awhile and abbi left soon after sarah arrived [since abbi hadn't seen her child for about 12 hours]. so sarah and my mom and i sat on the porch and talked and drank wine together, sarah and i obsessed over palahniuk novels [she's a fan too], and then we all went back down to the grounds to watch fireworks. on the way we ran into betsy and baley [who is visiting from eau claire for the weekend], and we walked together and caught up. then, at the grounds, i met up with a shitton of my friends [johnnie, matt, courtney, kaleb, emily, angie, etc.] from high school and we watched the fireworks together. there was an awkward dogpile in there somewhere, which was matt, me, and other people since i had been like...sitting on matt while he was on the ground. like i said, it was awkward. after that we went to betsy's dad's house and had a fire and talked and stuff...it was a lot of fun, and now i'm back here, not at all sleepy and gearing up for a parade later today. hopefully it doesn't rain... wheee~ <3

so i babysat earlier today and i'm now so tired i might just fall over... but the little girl (her name is sunny. that's short for something but what that something is is beyond me) was really easy to watch, and such a doll. we colored with chalk and blew bubbles...a lot. my hands are going to smell like bubble soap for the rest of the weekend, i think... jenny and i also discussed how she's like a small, female version of ryan ross. i'm making it my life mission to steer her clear of tweed jackets and the like. she will not wear those things...ever. but scarves are okay, right? :] june dairy days (my hometown's cute little excuse to have a parade) is this weekend, but i haven't made any concrete plans...really, i suppose that's okay. i just want to be able to relax. sooo, i'm gonna go take a nap quick. laterrrr.

ASDAAWKFHAISFHSAGFS. it totaly pays to have a mother who likes the same bands that you do. so she [my mommy] calls me this morning sounding all happy. she had woken me up from my slumber, so i was all, 'whaaaa? snrk sakfjldf' but she told me that patd and fob was going to be in the cities. i freaked out and was like, 'i wanna go!' and she was all, 'i do too!'. so my mom is gonna take me [hopefully] to go see fob, patd, chester french [<3 they're great], and blink-182, which will be an awesome show. i'm just so stoked. i want to go really bad...

plague doctor. a cartoonish version of them dance along the moulding in my room. i might have to erase them before my parents notice though. i got a job, i hopefully will be getting another. i really do want that waitressing job...no kidding. i'd feel so selfish for having two though...but hey. lucky me. that's how things work out. i'm so mean when i'm tired. td. i'd have his babies. he's in dls now, and so am i. fantastic.
